For the free optic at Rite Aid, did everybody get the same coupon or is it a different bar code per person? I was planning on giving it to my friend, I wonder if she could use it and I can use it too?
I think it has your name printed on the coupon. It said that the coupon could only be used once.
I tried doing the deal last night and it was a bust since they only had the 4oz size in stock at the Rite Aid I went to and the one on sale with the UP+ reward in the ad is the 5.5oz
yeah, it has my email address on it. Anyway, I snagged some of the 5.5 oz last sunday at CVS for 50 cents each, so I’ll let her have this free one. She needs it more than I do.
I *think* you might get a heads up if you follow them on Twitter. It says at the bottom that if you follow them you can be one of the first to know. I don’t use Twitter yet, so maybe there’s a way to get live tweets sent to your phone or something? Then you would know right away instead of having to refresh? IDK, just my thoughts….maybe that doesn’t work! Someone that knows Twitter might know 🙂
is it all gone?
from reading the posts on their wall, yesterday it went live at 9:00pm eastern. The coupon has to be redeemed the same day you get it and also has to be used online for carry-out orders. Others are saying they redeemed it and simply scheduled the pick-up time for another day.

Yes, Michelle, I did. Fortunately I have a Domino’s just down the street. It was like they were expecting me. Then she said you have to make a $5 purchase. DO WHAT???? I had copied the page that came up that said FREE, so I showed that to her. I guess she thought I was on top of the game, and handed me the Pizza. I left there with my Tuscan Salami about 3:30 CDT. YUM.
It shows that it is processing, but nothing.

The execution of this deal was poor. It said I got the free deal but once I check out it says my pizza is $8.39. The page wouldn’t load properly at all. Disappointed.
Exactly – same thing happened to me… said to click through for my free pizza, took me to the ordering page, I put it in my cart and it tried to charge me full price.
it was loading and loading for awhile and finally stopped but never gave me a coupon then I went back to try again and it said I already received a coupon

the coupon just started working 5 mins ago on FB, but it’s horrible to deal with, after you fight through traffic, i FINALLY got in (WOHOO) but now it’s ‘loading’ on like, the last step, and i dont think it’s going to complete my request. **cries**
This is so disappointing. You click on the link and it does nothing. If you click twice it disappears. If you just click anywhere on the page it gives me an error message. Why do companies offer free items or coupons when they can not handle the capacity?

I managed to get the square outline of a coupon, with no substance or pizza picture in the middle, with a notation at the bottom that says the coupon has to be used today and delivery fees will apply. A really bad promotion with little thought to the customer. Do love Hip2Save and very few offers go awry. Thanks a million.

I called the Dominos store nearby to give them a heads-up and ask if they knew about this promotion. Spoke to a district manager who was at the store and he knew nothing about it, but thanked me for the heads-up (geez!) I called to tell them that the facebook site wasn’t working and would they honor a free pizza for me and he said, “Sorry but it has to go through dominos.com.” OK Pappa Johns, you are closer and your pizza tastes better anyways!! Grrrrrrr!!!

I was on the site at 4:08… it said I got it and then when I went to check out… it was full price. It really sucked.
Actually I may have been on 4:06. All I know is that I refreshed the page and it wasn’t live, and refreshed it a min later and it was… I was on it about 30-60 seconds when it went live.
LOL, okay folks, I am persistent. I got to the Please click and accept page, and its still trying to load. Been like that for 2 hours plus, LOL! Gonna let it try. 🙂

I sent an e-mail through the Domino’s customer service site (Domino’s Cares) and told them about my struggles with the giveaway (able to fill out the form and then loaded forever). They sent me a code for the pizza. I was able to redeem it a few moments ago.
If you do this and get a code, you’l have to click on the ‘coupons’ word at the very top of the page. I tried to put the code at the end of my order and it didn’t work. But, if you click on ‘Coupons’ look for the part that says “Enter Code” towards the top and then go from there!
I DID get a free pizza….I clicked right through the process right when it opened and scheduled a pickup for 6:15pm today.
I was even able to combine it with the free Chocolate Lava Crunch Cakes from the Entertainment Guide for a free dessert as well.
I will say that I miss many more offers than I get, and am very appreciative when one goes very smoothly…so try and keep a positive attitude and enjoy the deals when they happen and let it go when they don’t.
I also sent an email to customer service around 6pm telling them about getting all the way through til the end when it kept loading and wouldn’t confirm/complete the order. I just sat down to check my emails and there was an email from them saying they were sorry and gave me a code. They also said it was only good online and for one time use only. Well all that is great, except it is going on 10pm and I’m about 15 miles from the nearest Dominos! If it was 6pm, I was having hubby stop on the way home, since he works about 2 minutes from Dominos. The question is, do I use the code today to pick it up another day? Or will I be able to use the code another day and pick it up that day? Love the customer service and the opportunity…but kinda perplexed (as usual LOL).
I’m guessing you could use the code today to schedule it for another day. I hope you can.
Wow…I’m glad I didn’t waste more than a couple of minutes on this freebie. (I, too, was experiencing “technical difficulties!”) I called my local Domino’s, instead, and told the manager about the problem. He said no problem and that he would comp me the pizza. What great customer service. It worked, too. I don’t think I’ve had a Domino’s pizza in over 20 years, but the one I had tonight (salami and roasted veggies (hold the salami; add mushrooms) was really good! I’d definitely give them another shot!
