Amazon has some awesome deals available on groceries in their warehouse section. They have lots of items discounted more than 50% and most items ship FREE with Amazon Prime or on $25 or more with Super Saver Shipping. Note that most items are approaching their sell by date (however, I’ve ordered warehouse items before and the expiration date has always been at least 6 months out from when I receive them) and it appears they don’t have a large quantity of items available at the low prices listed, so if you see something you like, I would suggest snatching it up pretty quickly.

Here are a few of the deals I spotted (and please take note that these deals listed below will probably sell out quickly or go back up in price. Also, if you notice an item went back up in price, click on the link under “In Stock” which looks something like this “6 new from $10.99” click there and you will see all the prices that the product is selling for… sometimes by doing this, you’ll be able to find a link that will take you to the lower priced offer that I have listed. Check out the screen shot below for more info.)…

The items are actually still available. As I said in the post, if you notice an item went back up in price, click on the link under “In Stock” which looks something like this “6 new from $10.99″ (See screen shot in post). click on that and you will see all the prices that the product is selling for… sometimes by doing this, you’ll be able to find a link that will take you to the lower priced offer that I have listed.

Do that on the milk and you should be able to scroll all the way to the bottom where the $10.99 Warehouse price is listed! 🙂

        thanks 🙂

The Nature’s Path is awesome and with this price, it makes it 50% off and only 2.50 a box! Awesome deal for organic, yummy cereal!

I ordered crackers, milk, cereal, more crackers and more cereal!!! Thank you Collin. Love getting discount organic foods shipped right to my house instead of driving an hour to purchase them full price 🙂 Made my day!!

Thank yoU! That is a very good price for Horizon milk. Although it’s vanilla and I wouldn’t normally buy vanilla milk for my daughter. It will be a nice treat for her on ocassion.
I also purchased the Nature’s Path cereal based on the positive reviews.

Dumb question….but how do you get to the warehouse section normally? The link works just fine here, but I’m wondering how you get to this section normally as I do not see anything on the Amazon site.

From the amazon main page, click Shop all Departments – Grocery & Gourmet Food – and then Warehouse Deals is on the left under “special deals” 😀

Thank you so much, you are sweet to help me!! 🙂

Seeing how a news story just came out about the temps inside Amazon’s warehouse of over 110 degrees (as it does not have air conditioning) I have no doubt food without preservatives is on sale. But I can’t help but wonder what happens to food degrading in that environment and I’d be careful what I bought from them-either that or check it out thoroughly when you get it.

    Here’s the news story:
    https://www.mcall.com/news/local/mc-allentown-amazon-complaints-20110917,0,7937001,full.story

    A quote from the story:
” During summer heat waves, Amazon arranged to have paramedics parked in ambulances outside, ready to treat any workers who dehydrated or suffered other forms of heat stress. An emergency room doctor in June called federal regulators to report an “unsafe environment” after he treated several Amazon warehouse workers for heat-related problems. The doctor’s report was echoed by warehouse workers who also complained to regulators, including a security guard who reported seeing pregnant employees suffering in the heat.”

Wouldn’t this be the case at most warehouses?

Those laws differ from state to state For example-I found in Ohio their dry storage rules for food are: “Dry storage goods shall be stored within the temperature range of 45 to 80 degrees”

And here’s what I found at the Virginia Tech website about “Food Storage Guidelines for Consumers”:
        https://pubs.ext.vt.edu/348/348-960/348-960.html

You’ll see below they also recommend dry storage being stored in no higher than 85 degrees,

“Dry food staples such as flour, crackers, cake mixes, seasonings, and canned goods should be stored in their original packages or tightly closed airtight containers below 85°F (optimum 50°F to 70°F). Humidity levels greater than 60% may cause dry foods to draw moisture, resulting in caked and staled products. Canned goods stored in high humidity areas may ultimately rust, resulting in leaky cans. Discard canned goods that are swollen, badly dented, rusted, and/or leaking.
Canned fruit and fruit juices may be stored in a cool, dry place below 85°F (optimum 50°F to 70°F) for one year. As with canned vegetables, badly dented, bulging, rusty, or leaky cans should be discarded. Dried fruits have a long shelf-life because moisture has been removed from the product. Unopened dried fruits may be stored for 6 months at room temperature.

I was going to pick up the Nature’s Path Cereal but it has gone back up and it can go on sale for 2.50 at Target so I think I will just pick it up there. And at least that way I have more flexibility cereal wise.

    • Dee

It is still $14.99. Just go where it says “In Stock” and you will them at 14.99.

  9. Val

I wouldn’t order from them simply for the way they treat employees. 110 degree heat and employees passing out all over the place….I’ll spend my money elsewhere.
