I normally am not one to post regional grocery store deals, but when I saw this deal highlighted… well, I knew I had to post.  So if you are a ShopRite shopper, I would suggest running on over to ShopRite to get in on this rockin’ deal…

Through 10/1, there is a Kraft and Nabisco Catalina deal running – Purchase $25 in participating Kraft or Nabisco Products in a single transaction between 9/25 – 10/1 and get back $20 in Catalina coupons! Please note that you will get back a total of four $5 Catalina coupons (only to be used during specific dates – see below) and these Catalina coupons are only valid to use on your next purchase of Kraft or Nabisco Products.

$5 Catalina to be used during the week of 10/2 – 10/8
$5 Catalina to be used during the week of 10/9 – 10/15
$5 Catalina to be used during the week of 10/16 – 10/22
$5 Catalina to be used during the week of 10/23 – 10/29

Deal Scenario:

(Keep in mind that the $25 total to score the Catalina coupons is calculated BEFORE sales and coupons)

Buy 5 Nabisco Single Serve 12 packs (regularly $5.49 each) on sale for $2.88 each
Total before sale = $27.45
Total after sale = $14.40
Pay $14.40 (+ tax)
Get back $20 in Catalina Coupons (to be used on future purchases of Kraft/Nabsico products!)

What an awesome deal… I so wish I had a ShopRite nearby!

Let us know if you’ve tried this deal!

ShopRite periodically runs these great deals with cash back. They are the most competitive grocer in our area (NJ/NY area).

  2. fran

There is no tax on cookies and crackers in N.J.
We got 3 packs of Fig Newtons and 2 packs of Oreos. They also had Mini Oreos, but the regular ones were a better deal. There were a lot of different cookies and crackers to choose from. They even had Snackwell’s in this deal.

I lived in Jersey up until 9 mos. ago & I can’t tell you how much I miss it! There is not one grocery store here in AZ that compares to it in prices, sales, variety, range of products, coupons (doubled up to .99) etc. Super sad panda! :'(

  4. Sarah

My ad says that it is calculated AFTER sales, so this deal wouldn’t work right…but there are other products on the page that with coupons and things might make it worthwhile…

I just did the deal today buying 5 packs and the catalinas print!!!

      • amanda

i did it today too!! great deal!! worked just fine! loooooooooove shoprite!!

    • stressfreeshop

No the catalinas are printing based on the regular price. I bought 5 packages today and it worked 🙂

    • DANA

I ACTUALLY DID THE DEAL THIS MORNING AT IT DOES WORK LIKE STATED ABOVE!

  5. MaryBeth

I did it today and it worked! Woohoo! I got four different varieties, and now I am stocked up on snacks for lunchboxes for the whole school year, pretty much! Can’t wait to figure out how to make the most of those catalinas!

  6. caroline

I can’t believe I was there today and didn’t do this. I want to go back but is there a limit on how many you can do? Can you only do one scenario per price plus card? Or can I just do different transactions and not use a price plus card?

    • fran

Hi Carolina, you can only do one offer per price plus card, for the week.
You do need the price plus card to get them for $2.88 each. 🙂
You can check your circular for more details.

  7. kristen

I bought 5 packs of the fig newtons and it worked for me too! AWEEEEESOME…these $5 coupons will easily mean free nabisco or kraft items over the next 4 weeks!

They have a similar deal with milk bone dog treats, didn’t do that though, my cat had $4000 surgery this week, so our grocery budget is TIGHT until we pay that off. Thank god for coupons! 🙂

    • Heather

I just had to comment Kristen – you are a wonderful person to take care of your cat in this situation. $4000 is a lot of money to spend, a lot of people would have made a different decision. You are a wonderful person and your cat is very lucky to have you!

    • Dina

Also wanna agree on your being a great person/pet owner! I have been there with a 5k plus surgery for my cat. People thought I was out of my mind. But pets are people too…and they are family! 🙂 Way to go!

  8. steph

I was there today. it was a zoo. and did a similar deal but my deal was a $5.99 moneymaker. I did the deal more than once (separate transactions) and got the cat’s both times. despite the ad saying that it is working on price plus discounts it is actually working on shelf price. Shoprite does this alot….

  9. CHERI

Hi, everyone, what do the Catalinas specifically say they are good towards?

    • kristen

It says any Kraft or Nabisco product!

  10. steph

they are good towards your next purchase of kraft or nabisco products

  11. Kelly

I have a question about coupon use hoping someone can help!
f I have a coupon for $1 off 2 boxes of “X” cereal, and I also have coupon for $1.50 off any fresh fruit if you buy 2 boxes of “X” cereal, can I use both coupons? It seems to me that the $1.50 coupon is for the fruit and the $1 is for the cereal so it would work, but not sure I am looking at it right. Thanks!!!

    • Nl

Colin, thank you so much for posting this! I was trying to think of a scenario that was worth it and I did not realize this would work! Ty!!

    • amyjk

kelly– it works 🙂 i did that deal last week. go get it!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It’s a YMMV, here’s why. The coupons are for different products so you should be able to use them both, but the one for the fresh fruit is coded to attach to the cereal, so whichever coupon you hand over last will beep. I have pleaded my case in these situations and the cashiers are understanding of the deal most of the time.

      • Jodi

I’ve done these kinds of deals at Shoprite before without a problem. And if I’m going to have a coupon problem, it will be at a Shoprite for sure–my store is very particular with qs! Hate shopping there, but I cherry pick the best deals.

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

this Nabisco deal is just awesome. Im visiting my family for vacation and these were enough cookies for the li’l ones. All for 12 bucks($14 – 2 $1/2 Nabisco Qs).

My shoprite had a lot of varieties in the 12 packs. and the 20 bucks for Kraft or Nabisco Qs, I can really use them for cheese.

think about it – paying $12 for $20 worth of Kraft/Nabisco plus free cookies. Very good deal. I would do it again.

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How do you know that after buying these products you will have catalinas. I have a ShopRite insert and there is no info about catalinas?

    • Donna Mc.

      Exactly.

  14. Donna Mc.

I have a ShopRite near me, and when everyone posted about the Barilla Whole Wheat Pasta $2 Catalina when you buy three, I bought four and never got a Catalina. The store manager said there was no catalina for that going on, so I am hesitant to do deals like that again if the deal is not advertised in my circular.

    • Marina

I did the Barilla deal and worked like a charm twice, then tried 3x and didn’t work, then I bought 3 of the same pasta and it worked. Weird! If the cats are not advertised, CS most of the time has no idea. You can always contact Catalina. The nabisco deal worked for me too…I was hesitant to do it, but then happy when I saw all the cats printing out. Good luck!

      • Donna Mc.

        “You can always contact Catalina.”

        Huh?

  15. Jodi

I bought only 3 of the cookie 12 packs and 4 Maxwell House coffees. The price on the coffee was 2.99, not the lowest price, but the lowest I’ve seen for a while. I found a tearpad at Stop & Shop with 3 coupons together–Kraft mayo, $1/2 Nabisco cookies or crackers and $1/1 Maxwell House. My Cats printed.
