The code is not working.
You have to make sure that when you copy and paste the coupon code that you don’t have a space at the end. Or the website will not recognize the code. Hope this helps 🙂
I tired both the salad plate code and dinner plate code.. they both worked for me. If you are copying and pasting the code you might need to delete the space that is there after pasting the code.

I ran into the same problem at first, if you just copy and paste it wont work, but if you type it in and make sure there aren’t any spaces it works.

You have to put in your state and zip code and it will bring up the shipping methods
I received a free coffee sample several years ago from this company. They did not send a sample, but a full size container! It was very good coffee, so I bet the plates would be nice as well.

Worked fine for me. Ordered the dinner plates and salad plates. Just had to pay shipping twice once $13.81 and once $10.42 🙂
I have tried both Discover and PayPal and neither one will let me check out. When I use Discover it says that the checkout process “failed”. When I try to use PayPal it keeps saying to check my address.

I ordered the plates and paid 13.31 for shipping great deal!!!! Then I went back and tried to order the salad plates to see if it would go through with the salad plate code….and it did! I paid 10.60 for shipping on that transaction. I know the post said one or the other but somehow I was able to get both.

Somebody had a same problem and commented on Facebook. Here is the reply she got from Rita Monti:
“Use 4dinnerplates to get free dinner, and 4saladplates to get free salads plates!”
Are you sure you used “4saladplates” for free salad plates?
All of you may have already figured this out but you can order one of the other patterns instead of Roma and the codes will still work (all of the links above go directly to the Roma pattern). I ordered the Venezia (Roma yellow was not workin’ with the decor…).
Also, both codes cannot be used in the same transaction but if you do 2 separate transactions (even under the same account) you will be able to purchase both the salad and dinner plates using the above codes.

OK I gave them my credit card info and it went through. I would have rather paid with Paypal. I did some checking online and the salad plates on replacements.com sell for $13.99 so it is a good deal.
I like using virtual credit cards for deals like these, “just in case” they over charge or when I am not familiar with a website I don’t have to worry. I don’t think that all CCs offer VCCs but I know BofA and Discover offer them.

I dont think I’ll get these…4 plates are an incomplete set. Then you’re stuck without the other pieces in a place setting-no cups, saucers, bowls. Wiser to choose a good complete set of china from your local store. The holidays are fast approaching. You might even want to consider a pattern that can carry you thru the winter months. Last yr I bought a Johnston Bros. winter scene set that works well Sept thru March. Perfect with holiday decor too. Think long term & biggest bang 4 your buck!

No worries~I don’t really think anyone is ordering these plates to use as there primary dish pattern! I love different patterns and styles of dishes and bowls to shake things up a bit!
I have “the girls” over once a month so these would be fun to serve lunch on and make it feel a little special. Sometimes a freebie like this can create a wonderful “outside of the box” moment…..

I actually had the good fortune to get both of these deals last week, when Rita Monti ran the codes on their FB page. The plates have already arrived; they are dishwasher and microwave safe on low settings and beautiful. You can tell they have been hand painted. I was originally planning on giving them as gifts, but now I am going to keep them for myself – my husband loves them. They are very bright and colorful. It isn’t the best deal on plates that I could have gotten, but I was happy enough.
And no, this isn’t the full set of dishes, but the most I’ve ever paid for a full set of dishes was about $30. No reason to spend that much money on something that’s just going to get broken (I’ve got 3 clumsy children!). I’m glad I didn’t shell out a lot for a “nice” set; my oldest daughter has broken every cup that came with the set while washing dishes, she has broken half the plates, and my toddler has broken 3/4 of the bowls. :-\

I received my plates today and they are lovely! However, 2 of my dinner plates have cracks in the glaze. I don’t really know what to do about it. Just accept it since technically they were free? I sure don’t want to have to pay to ship them back. I emailed the company. We’ll see. Please let me know if anyone else sees any flaws in their wares. I hope it was just a fluke.
I received my salad and dinner plates today. They are BEAUTIFUL! Just stunning. I showed them to a coworker, and she could not believe that I paid $20 and change for eight lovely plates. They have a nice weight to them and the plates are indeed hand painted. Because of that, there are extremely minor flaws as with anything hand painted. There’s some extremely minor super tiny bubbles on a few plates. Nothing major. I have many hand painted items at home with similar. I could see why you had to pay for the shipping, as these plates were boxed in a box with peanuts, and then boxed inside another box with peanuts. There was likely a large cost to the packaging materials alone, then plus the cost to ship.
As for the person who has some cracks in the glaze on the plate… I would email the company. They may send replacements for free, but still charge for the shipping. If they are minor… I would just keep them though. Also, which design did you get? I got the Roma and they didn’t have any cracks in the glaze.
Donna, I also ordered the Roma style. I am familiar with tiny bubbles and such on hand painted items. However, this is more of a glaze defect, also known as crazing. It’s in the center white area of 2 of the dinner plates, which is noticeable. I received a very quick response from the company apologizing and requesting pictures. They said they would gladly send me replacements. I love the plates and will probably invest in the bowls as well.

I totally want the bowls as well. I saw on facebook the offered a free set of 4 when you bought two full sets… and that was just way more than I need. I just need four. Maybe they can offer a code something like 25% off your total order. Then I would get a set of bowls and a set of mug… maybe even a large serving bowl or platter too.
