Here’s what you need to do to get in on this deal…

* Go through a referral link posted in the comments and sign up for an account
( I would suggest you try to sign up through a readers referral link as there is a cap of 100 invites per day)
* If you do not live in any of the cities shown in the drop down menu, choose New York
* Next choose New York again from the top left menu (if it’s not already chosen)

          Hmm. That’s a good question. This is what I think the sequence would be: sign up for a new Gilt City account under my referral link; go log into your ebates account (I’m assuming you have one), then look for Gilt City and go through their Shop Now button. I’m thinking your 40 percent off for Gilt City should be available in your account regardless of whether or not you start a shopping trip through ebates.

            hi! so far it has worked!
            1. i signed up w giltcity thru your link
            2. the 40% promo appeared in my account
            3. i opened a new page thru ebates (4% back) and found giltcity
            4. was redirected to giltcity thru ebates and the 40% was still in my account
            5. i ordered the promo for $15!
            now i am just waiting for the actual voucher info to use on soap.com (i will go thru ebates again for that!)
