Am I reading this right that the coats are only onsale online, not in store?
The site actually states that the coats are available in-store as well but I am not sure if they are priced as low as the jackets online. You could always try calling your local store before you make a special trip.
the weekly ad they mailed to our house has the same jacket shown on the web and the price is the same
I was looking at the online ad and at one store 15 miles from me, it doesn’t list those $20 coats, only other ones that are part of the 6hour sale tomorrow.
BUT, in an ad for a store 25 miles from me, it DOES list those $20 coats as being on sale now through the weekend, so I guess this is a very regional in-store sale?
Does anyone have experience with shipping site-store with JCP? How long does it take? My daughter actually needs one asap so I’m kind of stuck trying to find the best deal that I can get a coat ASAP. Old Navy has some for $20 but I read they are not true winter coats, more like fall coats. I live in CT so I need a real one. Trying to debate driving 50 miles round trip for a $20 coat that I’m unsure of the make/quality, or if I should just save my gas and get a $38 one at Walmart.. Oh too many decisions to make before my second cup of tea! =)
It takes about 7 – 10 days to arrive at the store.
I have gotten things within 5 days. I think it just depends on where your store is located from their warehouse..
They’ve told me you could pick up the same item in the store before your actual item arrives via mail. Just go to the service desk and they’ll do all the adjustments.
They are the same price in the store I bought one today. The sign above the jackets said they were $28, but when I scanned it came up $19.99.

Coupon says to use SHOPBIG to get free shipping to store, did you try that? Worked for me.

The code is KIDSAVE& you just need to go back into your info area & it’ll say home shipping& change it to STORE shipping.I can’t remember exactly where but I believe its at the bottom of your personal info page.Hope this helps as it worked for me!
I did that but it exactly states how much it will charge me ship to store my items, I tried to change my items around and my shipping charges just go $1.00 up or down. I know it’s wierd.

I honestly find very nice Osh Kosh jackets at the end of the season every year at Kohl’s for the following season, have never paid more than $10 per jacket (granted they were the boys’ 4-7 sizes!). This tempted me, but the nearest store is quite a drive for us, too much gas!
I was at JC Penney yesterday and they have A LOT of clearance from 50-80% off! I got 2 bras which retailed at $34.00 each for only $18.00 total after clearance and coupons!

I just wanted to let everyone know that the code at old navy is not good for outerwear. I saw the coat that is on sale at JC Penney for girls. THEY ARE NOT THICK AT ALL!!! I too was very excited about the sale and they even gave me the price early since I was already there. I have a $10 Off coupon and did not even want to spend $10 on the coat. We live in Ohio and had I purchased it, my daughter would have been freezing at the bus stop. I don’t mean to be a downer, just wanted to give you the heads up.
I went to jcpennys yesterday to check out the girls coats that are on sale that collin just posted about. I love a great deal also, but these coats were not worth $5.00. They were really thin, and very cheaply made.
Went to JC Penney this morning, and they are having some great sales! Got $70 worth of stuff for $17 with sales and the coupon!
Keep in mind that the KIDSAVE code works on other items also…I got 6 clearance kids items for $16 and free store shipping when I put the code in. They have some great belted plaid boys Arizona shorts and 8-20 knits and wovens all around $3 or $4, and that is before the discount!
These jackets may not qualify as a Gap “warmest jacket”, but they are not that bad. If someone can only afford $5 for a jacket for their child why rain on their parade. We have what most would consider a light winter so a medium thick jacket is perfect here.
I just used the code online to buy TOYS I got 3 mattel barbies (ariel’s friends) a 4 pack of play horses (my daughter wants them for CHRISTMAS wohoo) and a pair of fishnet stockings (justto make it $25) all for $16.88! fyi you can also use your $10.00 jcp reward coupon with the $10.00 off $25. I was able to get two jackets for $21.18.
