Serve.com: **HOT** Request a FREE $20 Check

Hip2Save may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you via trusted partners and affiliate links in this post. Prices and availability are accurate as of time posted. Read our full disclosure policy here.

Oh my word… how awesome is this?! Currently, you can score $20 in FREE cash! Yep… $20! And it doesn’t require that much work either! Here’s how…

* Go here to sign up for a FREE account with Serve.com, a next-generation digital payments platform that helps you organize your money, send and receive funds, and manage payment requests. Very similar to Paypal. Also, Serve.com is a legit site – owned by American Express. That means Serve uses American Express security, technology, and data protection.

* Note that you will receive a verification email after signing up. Click on the link in the email and enter your verification code that was sent. Make sure to check your spam folder if you don’t get this email (that’s where mine was).

* Once you sign up for a FREE Serve.com account, you will instantly see that a $10 bonus has been added! You can then immediately request a check for $10 to be sent to your home at no cost.  Allow 7 to 10 business days for delivery.

* Even sweeter, you can head on over here to play the Serve.com Money Mover game! Just answer one trivia question correctly and you’ll score another FREE $10! And if you don’t answer correctly, you can keep playing until you do. Once you answer correctly, you’ll be able to enter your email address and you will receive an email within the next business day with directions on how to claim your FREE $10!

So after you complete all of the steps above, you will have scored a total of $20 with no out of pocket expense! It doesn’t get much better than that! Merry Christmas! 😀

And, if that isn’t sweet enough for ya, you can receive a $5 referral credit to your Serve account after each friend who completes registration and sends money at least once from their Serve account. A maximum of $50 in referral credits may be earned through this promotion. The referred friend must use the link in the referral email to register for and send money from their Serve account. Offer limited to legal residents of the 50 U.S. & D.C., 18 or older. Valid for new Serve accountholders only. Offer is subject to change or cancellation at anytime.

they want my last four digits of social. Do they perform a credit check? That would not be cook.

    • Ana

      *cool is what I meant…

    • stacey

      Says no credit check.

    • Amie

They would need your entire social for a credit check. The last 4 is usually used as a passkey in case you need to discuss your account or replace a forgotten password.

    • Leah

It says no credit check on the sign up page

    • BC

I think they’d need more than the last 4 of your social to check your credit 😉

    • Jen

It specifically says on the main page no credit checks. The SS# is for ID only.

    • ???

I dont think I will do this. It has been said that the last four digits is being over used and should be approached with caution. It is a serial number. It is the least guessable number. If somebody wanted to do damage they would need these numbers. Granted they need the whole number to do a credit check, I am not willing to throw my numbers out there or on my computer. Why not ask for the first numbers then if for no reason. First are geographical area, or the group numbers which is verifable by the social security as being issued groups. I really think that random reasons for the last four digits should be made illegal. In june they made it randomized for issuing ssn, to help stop theft and fraud.

  2. momcsm

If they did a credit check it takes points off your score

  3. Shannon

On the main page when you click on the link above, to the right, it states “No Credit Check” required… maybe the last four of the SS# are used for security purposes. I do not think they can run a credit check w/o ALL your numbers being inputted.

  4. BJ

Who needs a referral? Let me know. I am signing up.
    BJ

    • Carter

      me! What’s your e-mail?

    • Taraneh

you won’t get any money for a referral unless the person you referred sends money at least once with their account (in the fine print)

      • Carter

        thanks 🙂

  5. bridriz

I signed up but dont see a $10 bonus!

    • Britta

      I don’t see mine either.

      • Ana

        I didn’t get one either.

    • jmartcougar

I didn’t see it either maybe it take a while

      • Theresa

        Nothing for me also.

        • Wendy

Same for me, put verification in, but no credit yet.

    • Lisa

      Me neither 🙁

    • Lori

Didn’t get my $10 from either the sign up or the game, which I won $10 from, but haven’t received. It said it would show up instantly in my account, but hasn’t.

    • heather

mine showed up after i verified with the passcode from my email

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmmm… my $10 credit showed up instantly, but maybe it’s just taking a while to show up due to the volume of traffic they are receiving.

      • kidsallgone

        My $10 is there 🙂
I played the game and won $10 but not seeing that.
Checked my email but guess it might take a while to show up.
Or maybe I have to sign out and then back in for the game’s $10 to show up?
But…my question is: How do I request a check? I don’t see the “request a check” option.
        Any help on that one?
        Thanks 🙂

      • Hope

        Haven’t gotten anything yet.

    • Heather

Same here and I even verified my emails address. I’ll just wait and check back later. Can’t complain about free money!

      • Suzanne

I did this deal last week and suggested it to Collin. It worked beautifully.

I got the trivia email cash within 24 hours. If you are not getting the initial sig-up bonus, they will ask you in an email to email them documentation of your address or whatever info they need to verfiy your identity. You can also fax it. There is no credit check.

I got the first $10 instantly. Then I got the $10 trivia within 24 hours. My boyfriend had to send them documentation (via scanning) and then he eventually got both credits.

You will get your card in the mail within 7-10 business days– I signed up on a weekend and had my card by Friday. It is an AmEx card. I used it online immediately after registering the card and it worked perfectly on Victoria Secret and Kohl’s. I did not have to link my bank or credit cards or anything. There were no added fees on the $20– it was just like a gift card.

        Hope this helps.

  6. Meghan

    Hi,

How do you request a check?

    • Judith

my account – recent transactions – withdraw

      hth

  7. Julie

Wow – $20 to start my Sunday!! Yay!!! Thanks Collin!!

  8. jan

NOT GETTING MY SS# NOPE !!!! BEWARE

    • Ann

      Same here!

    • Ana

I entered fake number and birthday but do not see 10$

    • Janet

I very much agree!! That is not right.

    • Wanda

Agreed, if they want a security code I should be able to select my own number. Will need to research more before doing this

    • livdavis

They only want the last 4- not the whole number FYI.

      • Leisa

Its just like paypal. so you can purchase items and send money

    • Sarah

Agreed. Even if it is just the last 4 digits. It definitely makes me a little leery. And if it is just for security of my account, I should be able to choose any four numbers I want. To me, it’s not worth $20.

    • ???

      agreed read my comment above.

  9. bree

I didn’t get the $10 added to my account

  10. jan

    .

  11. ibserenity

i did exactly as you said and I didn’t see any money in my account for registering. Yes, this is the first time I’m registering. And I can’t find where the contact information for them is.

  12. ter

where do you see credit after sing up?

  13. jen

i got the $10 but the email verification part is not working now.

  14. Shannon

Tried signing up, entered the code that was sent to me and NOTHING! No instant $10 credit????

  15. Amy

I got the credit…and answered the trivia question…got the first $10, the next should come in the next 24 hrs..but, how do you request a check????

    • Jessie

On the main account page, under your “wallet” there are 2 blue links on the right side. One is for Withdraw. Just click that!

    • Meghan

      Hey Amy,

I figured it out. To request a check look at where your 10.00 credit is listed then click with draw money. Then you can click request check 🙂 Hope that helps!

      • Meghan

*Beneath your 10.00 credit it will say withdraw money, click that.

        • Amy

          Thanks gals…I got it! : )

  16. sne3103

They need verification of my social security number i.e., a copy of W2 or Social security card or pay stub etc etc.. Anyone else with this issue?

    • Monique

Yes, they are requesting verification of my mailing addy with a bunch of different options I have 21 days to supply them with. Still didn’t get the first $10 either.

      • Monique

I also got the question right and didn’t get that $10 either

  17. Katie

I signed up and clicked through the email and its saying all my password and stuff is wrong, and locked me out

    • Heather

I had that too, needed to call the number to have them unlock my account

  18. Qpon Saving Mommas

FYI for you folks who are scared of this deal. This is a LEGIT company. This is the new company that took over for Revolution Money Exchange. I have had an account with them for 2 years now.

  19. karizmaleibrown

I signed up for this service, followed the instructions, but did NOT receive the bonus.

  20. Jessica

i did not get 10 for signing up!!!

  21. Siobhan @MoneyDearest

I love this deal, I don’t see where you can request a check though. I think you will get a debit card in the mail and use that like cash.

Please correct me if I’m wrong 🙂

    • Lisa

I do believe you are correct. I requested the “check” and now at the top of the page, it says

      Activate your card

Look for your Serve card in the mail. You can use your Serve Pre-Paid Reloadable Card to access your Serve funds and make purchases across the U.S. wherever American Express Cards are accepted.

      WOOHOO! Love free money!!

    • Wendy

In the “My Account” section, find the “Recent Transactions” section and look to the right of the screen. There are blue links to Add or Withdraw. If you click on Withdraw, you have the option to request a check. Just requested mine!

  22. Kris

I just signed up and already requested my $10 check. I would love to have some referrals. Just leave your email address and I will send you a link. Thanks!!

  23. Heather Reese

I did it like you said, and submitted the verification code in the email, and I didn’t get anything. A few minutes later, it said that they wanted me to send them a utility bill or copy of my drivers license to verify my address…..

  24. Katie

I signed up and requested my check. To request a check, click on “withdraw” under your $10. Then you can choose to request a check.

  25. Amy

OK…figured it out..In the part that says XXX’s Wallet, click withdrawl….then click “send me a check” and then put the amount that you want sent, and click confirm…SO EASY! Thanks for this HOT HOT HOT freebie, Collin!!!!!! Some extra stocking stuffers for my kiddo’s!!! YAY!!!

  26. Emily

Worked for me! I got my $!0 instantly and then have already requested for it to be sent to me. Click on the “withdraw” button in the “recent transactions” column and you will see the option to get mailed a check. I also did the trivia questions but it said it would take a week to be deposited in my account.

  27. Becky

I’ll keep ANY part of my social safe. Not worth the $20 to me.

    • Jen

Same here. Paypal has an established reputation. This site could be 100% legit, but have never heard of it or seen it offered on such sites as Amazon or Ebay. Thus, not 100% comfortable giving out private info for $10.

    • angela

      i totally agree!

  28. Laurie M.

We’ll see if it actually arrives in 7-10 days. Thanks for sharing. Hope it works!

  29. livdavis

I followed Coliln’s steps with NO problems at all. $10 in my account today, requested a check and $10 more on the way for the quiz.

  30. Allyson

I registered and I see the money! Thanks Colin

  31. Ashley

Just signed me and the hubby up without any problems!!! Thanks for the extra spending more for Disney!!!

  32. Brandie

Worked for me! Got my 10.00 check on the way and answered the trivia question correctly so I should be getting that email soon as well. Thanks!

  33. shelley

my computer virus protection is going haywire when I try to get this… 🙁 I’ll have to pass… good luck guys! If you get it, that’s awesome!

  34. racheldf

    Thank you! Worked for me!

  35. annalynn99issy

Ladies, I signed up for an account and only after that, I called customer service because they needed the lat 4 digits of my ss# on the initial registration…of course, they pull a credit check..the customer rep said “it’s a soft pull” whatever that means 🙁 I regret I even did it.

    • ???

Of course they do, the last four digits is your serial number. Never give this out unless you are directly dealing with your company. Please read my comment above. It is not hard to figure out your entire social from that ,that is whyy there is ID theft. Geographical and group easy especially if you nevr moved. Also they are verifiable on ss website. If they have your serial number they can run a check. From my understanding your date of birth will definately id you with that. I once gave a furniture store it…was told just verifyies your age, next thing you know I have that furniture company and 4 other loan groups including a morgage company on my credit, which dropped my points bad. I called the experian and they said “never ever give your last four digits unless you do business with them and or a company because it helps identify you”. I had to file disputes based on I never applied directly for credit. If you all start getting credit applications in the mail, you better pull your reports and file complaints. The fact that its run by american express should be a red flag. Sorry for the rant but when you damage credit you worked hard for and all stuff stays for so many years, this should all be illegal. I am sorry you learned the hard way, please protect your numbers.

  36. Jessica

I signed up for the account and I can see the $10 for signing up but I cannot figure out how to have it sent to me. Please help. When I request the money it tells me that the sender and the receiver cannot be the same person.

    • Jessica

Nevermind. I went back and reread the comments that weren’t there when I posted. Thanks!

  37. bridriz

Signed up- no $10. Won the game- no $10. Hmmmm…

  38. heather

No $ in my account. I did both things to receive my $20!

  39. Laurie

Mine worked fine. I have my $10 credit and waiting for my email to tell me how to get the additional $10.

  40. tricia

I did not use my real last 4. That makes me nervous. I also did not get a $10 credit after I signed up 🙁 I was able to do the extra $10 but have not received the confirmation yet.

  41. Taraneh

I can’t seem to get the game to work….

  42. Jessie

    Got them both.. thanks!!!

  43. misty

    Worked for me! Thanks Collin!!

  44. Taraneh

Also, is this 1 per household? I want to tell my parents and sister about it but wasn’t sure if there was a limit per household since it does ask for your address.
    thanks!

  45. pennstategirl27

    Worked great! Thanks!

  46. dakota

I did it just like you said and i did not get no $10. says my balance i 0. now i will get dozens of emails from them and no money. its not worth it.

  47. nialya

    Thanks Collin!!!

  48. andrea

Worked for me! It showed the $10 before I ever confirmed the email! And the game takes up to one business day! Thanks!! Anyone that might want to try it I can send referrals if interested let me know your email 🙂 thanks! Have a happy Sunday!

  49. Qpon Saving Mommas

For anyone who uses anything FAKE, you will get denied. They do verify it all before sending the $. Only thing i did not like about them is that it says you get a $2 withdraw fee and a 2.9% fee per transfer or deposit.

  50. ap

No Signup credit for me. I followed all the steps exactly.
