They are the best pears by far. They always taste great and are the right softness and texture. Sooo worth it. My husband buys me a box every year for Christmas. Just bought pears at Walmart for $.99/lb and they are delicious! Those are not even really in our budget, this is WAY out! Will keep in mind for when we have lots of money cause I LOVE fruit!

We got these one year and we thought these are just pears, what’s the big deal? They were the best pears I have ever had! By the way I have had fresh picked pears from my grandparents trees and they were not as good as these. The price is a little high for fruit, but it is great fruit and something you probably wouldn’t buy for yourself, but rather treat someone else to.

These pears are somewhat expensive but for someone that you want to send a special gift to these are a great idea. I like to give these to my elderly neighbors that are like a second set of grandparents to us. What do you give someone that has everything? Harry and David Pears!!

I want to say that days ago, I purchased this deal. It was to be a special Christmas treat for my dear Aunt and Uncle that live far away from my home. You see my Aunt is unable to eat all of the delicious goodies that she lovingly makes for her family and friends because of diet restrictions and in turn I knew a special treat of fruit was acceptable and would maybe for a moment give her the sense of love that her treats give to so many. I felt crushed to hear that the pear package arrived in a rotten state of yuckiness. All that I can say is BEWARE of Harry and David. I ordered the Royal Riviera pears for my 94 year old grandmother and also my 74 year old mother as Christmas presents on December 17th for guaranteed delivery by Christmas Eve. Needless to say, they did not receive their Christmas present at all. After dealing with a supervisor named Lisa, (and I had even called customer service on December 17th and spoke with a rep named Mark on the day that I had placed the order to make sure that my mother and grandmother would receive their Christmas present), they did not abide by their guarantee and make it right. After having to deal with their lousy customer service, I wouldn’t ever place an order with them again.
