Well.. welcome to Utah/Idaho, Colin!! This is one of the many modest companies that have sprung up in the last 6+ years here in this area. Modbe used to be its own company and then was bought by DownEast. I haven’t bought anything from them since their merger but liked them before, and I really like DownEast. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Their products are modest (and cute!) and the lengths are long and covering. (you posted about Shade a little bit ago- they also were started in Utah and then bought by Gymboree)

They have some adorable skirts for $10.50 also – just look at the skirts page, and they’re near the bottom. I snagged 9 shirts and 2 skirts for $78 after shipping (which was 11 bucks), so basically $7 each! Yay for cute new clothes that I can wear to work!

I have loved their quality too! And you hardly ever see these down to $5. I think they run a little tight, but for if you are using them for layering, I think a little tight is good. I usually buy Medium or Large when I shop for tops, and I like getting a large from this store. Hope that helps.
I’ve purchased two Modbe swimsuits. They were made of really good, thick material. I love their clothing and swimwear options, because they are cute and stylish, but more modest than most designers offer.
I could really use long undershirts, but they’re already sold of the basic colors in the type of tee I like 🙁

Erin, I am going to try it…7 shirts for $40 ( I got a little carried away). And I guess if they don’t fit, I ALWAYS have friends who need clothes or hold on to them for a giving tree next Christmas.
this is off topic, but did anyone else order anything from the cardstore? i ordered from one of their great % off deals at thanksgiving and still have not received my order. my attempts at contacting their customer services only generate auto respond emails and holds via phone. my artscow order came quicker too and it came from hong kong. it’s been almost a month…

I ordered from card store 3 different times in the last several weeks and my orders always came rather quickly.
I ordered mine on a Saturday and received them Tuesday….but my husbands head was cut off….so I’m going to need my money back from them.
I got my order from the cardstore and was very disappointed in the quality. But I sent them an email letting them know, and they then sent me an email saying they were going to resend the order at no charge to me. Well, I thought that would be weird for my friends and family to get a 2nd Christmas card from me exactly the same, so I asked them to cancel that second order. They then credited my account the full price of the initial order.
thanks for the feedback ladies. i was more than patient with them, but it’s now the 21st and no still cards. they did charge literally right after i ordered, i called today and didn’t receive much help but asked for a refund…we’ll see if they follow through… thanks again.
I just ordered 4 of these and chose the other shipping options under the UPS option at checkout. There I chose free shipping & it worked for me. Just chgd me $1.00 for handling. I’m not sure how these will be shipped but not in a hurry since they’re just for me.

I ordered 5 shirts (which by the way I love ModBe shirts) and when I went to shipping options it had an options that was custom shipping in there it said free. I was able to get free shipping. I don’t know if this is because I am in Utah, but I thought I would pass that information on. Thanks for the information Collin
I got free shipping on two shirts as well. Also, FREESHIPNOV code is still working. Free shipping on ANY purchase. Just pay $1 handing fee, no mater how large or small the order.

Can’t get my order to proceed from shipping page…..it says gift certificates or discounts are invalid…..I’ve deleted codes and tried to pay for a shipping option, and it still won’t proceed. I can’t find a phone #, so I’ve given up……bummed, too, because I had chosen 9 things…..

From looking at the image, I would say no. It looks like a single layer of fabric.
I’m willing to try these guys for $5. Hopefully the quality is good..I’m totally put off by the “all sales are final”, though. That isn’t a sign of good customer service…

Is it just my monitor, or are the colors not displaying the sort of color that I think they ought based upon the color name? SLATE BLACK looks to be a chocolate brown, CEDAR WOOD a dusty pink mauve, DUSTY CEDAR is pink, SUNKIST CORAL just a brighter version of the dusty cedar, and CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE is burgundy. That’s just weird. I know my monitor is crappy, but it’s not that far off on the colors.
Anyone know if there will arrive in time for xmas? I am thinking about purchasing these as xmas gifts for the sister in laws! 🙂
Love em! Wear them 3-4 times a week! If you have a downeast store nearby they are buy 2 get 1 50% off so 3/$12.50! I went on Thursday night and bought 12! Some for me, some for a friend, and some for my daughter.

Camis DO NOT have the shelf bra. They are single layer fabric. All fit snug. I buy a medium, which is the size I buy everywhere.

Ok, I don’t know anything about Modbe, but I saw that their sister company is Down East Basics, which just HAPPENS to be my F-A-V-O-R-I-T-E company for camis! I wear their long camis under EVERYTHING! They last for years, stretch and quality are perfect, and I cannot live without them! I would order a size up if you are concerned about a tight fit, as they are form fitting. I say that if you are on the fence, go with this company!

FYI… the neckline is higher than other companies on both the cap sleeve and the cami. I prefer the neckline not quite so high so I order elsewhere.
I ordered two of these over the weekend and out of curiousity I got on the website today to see what the prices are. Some camis are now cheaper at $3.75-$4.75, but only in certain colors. The Lovely Lace Cami, which I bought, is now $4.50 but only certain colors are left. I’m happy to see the colors I bought are sold out, so I’m glad I didn’t wait. The Double Lace Cami in viridian green, melon, lavender, coral and sunkist gray are now $4.50 each. The Favorite Cami in yellow cream, viridian green adn melon are now $3.75 each. To get free shipping with my order I clicked on “other shipping options” and was able to select free shipping. No coupon code needed.
