I picked up boxes of gingerbread poptarts marked down to $1.02 yesterday, down from $2.75! Also snagged Hickory Farms 10oz summer sausages for $2.49 down from $4.99. And didn’t pay anything OOP because of that free $10gc wyb $75 deal a few weeks ago. 😀

  2. Allison

it was a madhouse at my target yesterday. did get a $5 bodycology lotion set and some reeses cups for $2.50.

  3. Becky

I found solo cups for 1.49 and had .75 coupons, the chinet plates were also 1.49 and they had $1.oo coupons on them. The christmas Kleenex towels were 1.49 and there are .75 coupons as well. I got ziploc holiday containers they were 1.49 ea. and I had target coupons $1 off 2 and used the man. Q $1.50/2 they were .48 for 2 packages. The boxes of goldfish were 1.54 and I had .50 coupons making them 1.04 each. My targey had kids Colgate toothpast half off and there are couons for them as well. Softsoap holiday foaming soaps were half off as well. Walmart had christmas quickie christmas tape for 1.50 and I had $1 coupons for them and the 5 pack of scotch pop up was 1.50 and I had $1 coupons for them as well.

    • Cas

The Soft Soap was marked down, however, the same size is 1.49 in the regular soap isle 🙂 I

  4. Erin

I hope our Target has some diapers left on Friday. That is the earliest I can get there! Plus I have some $2 off coupons that were in Santa diaper packages!

    • Plumaria

I had a coupon for $5 Target GC w/pur of $25 of Huggies from 12/4 SS. I believe you get $5 on Target Huggies purchase, so you should get back $10 Target GC right?

    • Kelly

Both Targets in my town were all out of diapers! I was so disappointed, they would have been a great deal!

  5. Heather

I scored red oreo cookies (in cookie aisle) for 1.49 a pack!!! 50% off!!! My fav find was baby boots fur lined half off for 9.99! There was a ton of clearance in baby aisle!!! I am going to look for diapers tonight to match with coupons! Thanks for the heads up!

  6. Kelly

Archer Farms Monster Mix and Nuts $4.99 (Reg. $9.99)

I was there today and found the trail mix and got SO excited because it doesn’t expire until October! However, after doing a bit of research, it’s actually only ~ $2 cheaper than the regular container of trail mix located in the grocery section (that’s approximately the same size). It’s only originally 9.99 because they slapped a Christmas tag on it and said it was a gift. 😛 Sure, it’s still cheaper- but it might not be as great of a deal as you think…

  7. Shanna

Does anyone know if the holiday candles and air perfume are on sale now, still have some coupons that I want to use.

    • hotmamacoupon

      Do you mean the glade?
I was there yesterday, the glade holiday items were ringing $2.99

I am waiting for them to be clearance down so I can use the rest of my coupons.

      • Shanna

Thanks! And yes the Glade…..air perfume, I just sounded like a 89 year old man!

        • Plumaria

Glade 4 oz holiday candles $2 @ Walmart, Im waiting for it to go lower too LOL

        • hotmamacoupon

          lol lol

  8. Kelly

Our Target (both Targets actually) were extremely picked over! People must have woke up super early. We got there around noon, it was insane, almost worst than black friday! I did get a package or Oreos for 1.49 and some tape for 1.50 but I was hoping for christmas lights to decorate our May wedding. I did get some good wrapping deals at Walgreens though 🙂 No one was shopping there!

  9. Amy

Did Target carry the Axe gift sets and if so, are they marked down, too? I know there’s a $3 coupon for these good until early January.

    • Darcy

      they were still $9.99 today

    • Evonne

I just came from Target the Axe gift sets I saw were $8.48.

      • darcy

everything in chicago is always priced much higher at target 🙁

  10. Melody

I think I will wait a few days, I know they’ll put everything (xmas) at 75% then at 90%
What I do is to hide some items (in a different aisle) then pick them up when they are at 90% off !!

    • Jessica

That is horrible to hide items just so you can come back and get them cheaper. As a retail worker this is a nightmare to try and clean up the shelves when there are hidden items everywhere. I hope whatever you hide is found by someone else. Shame on you.

      • Melody

They won’t be there forever, I will come back 2 or 3 days later! and I don’t do that all the time! Ive done it once or twice!

        • Jason

I work at Target and those items get returned to shelf when faced. This is a terrible practice.

        • julie

          shame on you

        • mel

When I used to work in retail, we had to go aisle by aisle doing go-backs AFTER the store had closed. Not fun. When I spotted someone hiding something, as soon as they left, I would put it back. If its there at 75%, its meant to be.

          • Marie

Cannot believe you would hide items like that. Like all before me have said, more work for overworked and underpaid workers. Shame on you is right.

          • Melody

            I’m sorry I didn’t know that.

            • Coupz

WOW….There is a way to tell somebody.. Not that I am supporting her but people these days don’t leave anything on the shelf..I go to a Rite Aid where I have seen this Dora Foster Grant glasses on a end cap near the personal care aisle for a month now. They haven’t moved it from there..I have seen it every time I go. May be she didn’t know about the employee rules & their work pressure. But please be a little polite. We are here to help each other!!! 🙂

    • Paulette Dalton Maynes

My Husband works in assets protection for Target and that is considered theft. (because they could have possibly sold it to someone else for the marked price, so therefore they loose out on that money.) Employees walk the store looking in and around large items because people do that. And If they catch employees “stashing” clearance they get fired!

    • KWilliams

Melody you have done nothing wrong and don’t let anyone on this site tell you any different. You are not alone….. I do this all the time. If it’s there when I get back great if not then it wasn’t meant to be. Matter fact I just did that yesterday with a dress I wanted for my daughter. Times are tuff and I am not going to steal. I am willing to pay just not as much as they are asking for right now. To everyone judging STOP. You have made this woman feel bad enough. I am neither ashamed or embarrassed with what I do. Melody I hope your items are still there when Target reaches 90% off. It’s up to the employees to check the isles. She is not stealing!!!!!!

      • Leslie

I also admit I do this (hiding things in-store), but only at Walmart to get ready for Double Coupon Tuesdays, because I have a newborn and am NOT going to be there at midnight when these Utah County Walmarts let you start! I am NOT taking anything out of the store, and I AM going to purchase it. I have actually FOUND things other people have taken OUT of the package and left the package and STOLE it! (ie. razors off all things???)

      • Allison

This is actually a form of cheating/stealing. By moving the product to ‘hide’ it, you are cheating Target out of the current price of what another customer would pay for it. Stick to your theory “If it’s there when I get back great, if not then it wasn’t meant to be”. Yes, times are tough, but that doesn’t mean it allows people to hide products till it is marked down cheaper.

BTW, I see this happen all the time in my Target (customer hiding things, sticking products behind other items, etc). And, a simple fix… I end up putting the product back where it belongs:)

        • LC

Would it be possible for her to buy the item at 50% off and return it for a price adjustment when things are marked down to 90?

          • Rachlee

LC – at my Target they do not allow that. You can return the item and then see if they have more or wait for them to restock the item you just returned. I was told they do not do the price adjustments for clearance items.

        • Tara

Melody, it is not right to do, but these companies mark up prices so that even at 50% they are making probably still their cost x 2….at least! As a buyer for many years i know what items costs…and what i marked items up to in order to turn a profit. Walmart is horrible for this…also it is the company that under pay employees, not because people hide products and it’s such a difficult job to plac items on a shelf…give me a break.

HIDING IS STEALING??? No, it is not a form of stealing. I have worked in retail for 10 years + and not one person has gotten arrested for “hiding” an item nor has it ever held up in any court case that i tried to find. Is it the correct thing to do..no, but do you really think hiding an item is any different than going onto coupon databases and price checking ( which most companies do not allow) and trying to get a deal for less than tag price??? really? So all you couponers (me included) cheat the stores out of money too. Don’t try and be all perfect shoppers because I am sure half in not all have tried to use a coupon ILLEGALLY.

Managing employees, it is there job to put items that are misplaced, hid or whatever back to the shelf. If they do not do their job, than the employees did not do their job, so the customer wins. If the employee does their job, than you will find your hidden item back where it belongs.

This is not supposed to be used to harrass people, use it for helping other shoppers find the best deals…wow.

          • Pamela

Yesterday I went to Target with the mission of finding hidden stashes of clearance items. It was so much fun! I found them everywhere, from the automotive dept to behind the big packages of paper towels and also hidden behind the boxed microwaves. I am sure I looked rather strange. I didn’t want any of the items to purchase myself except for the 3 packages of Hershey’s Cookies And Cream Santas I found hidden on a back endcap that was made up entirely of seasonal air fresheners. They were atop the stuff on the bottom shelf and I wouldn’t have found them is I hadn’t stooped down to look.

Try scanning anything in a seasonal package, I got really nice Diamond Premium disposable cutlery that was mixed in the regular location along with the non holiday packages. That was my tandem mission-to find the seasonal items the employees missed.

I am dying for the Smith and Hawken amaryllis bulb kits to get clearanced. They were on sale before Christmas and are now back to regular price!

        • Hvy

So…if I picked up some stuff in any store…but change my mind…take the stuff out of my cart…and put them in a different aisle…this is called stealing??? Same thing don’t you think???

          • samirae

Ignorance is bliss. It’s not the same at all. If you take items out of your cart and leave them somewhere not intending to come back for them how could that possibly be the same??? “Stashing” clearance and coming back to buy it when it has taken a further markdown IS theft!! And I hate how some people think that because a business make high margins on products they can afford to have people steal a little off the top. I like a great deal as much as the next person but I am not going to be dishonest to get it!!!

      • Paulette

It is in fact theft!! I know someone who works in assets protection for Target and if they catch people doing this they will and do prosecute!! If they see someone hide things they will wait for them to come back and get the hidden items and if they purchase them they will prosecute! You all may think those domes on the ceiling are empty but I assure you they are NOT. And for all the ones you can see think about the ones you can’t.

  11. krystimarie

They have a $2.00 off huggies coupon on coupons.com

    • mindy

can u tell us the zip code you used?

      • Melissa

Yes, can you please tell us what zip code that is under? Thanks!

        • Plumaria

          91950 hope that helps

          • Plumaria

theres also the $5 Target GC from the 12/4 insert w/pur of $25 or more Kimberly Clark items

          • Char

All I am finding is $2 pull ups coupons, no diaper one.

            • Plumaria

Oh, Im sorry, they are for pull ups. If you had the Walmart coupon a few weeks ago, they had other Huggies but I believe they expire the end of month. Good luck

  12. Pat

Does anyone know when Target will be doing the 75% markdown? I saw a few things today and I may hold off on them.

    • lara

      from mommysavers.com
Target holiday markdowns usually follow a 3-3-2 schedule. Clearance merchandise goes to 50% off the day after the holiday, then 3 days later 75%. Again, 3 days after that what’s left is 90% off

      • Rachael

Thanks for posting the Target mark down schedule. I have been looking on various facebook pages trying to find!

        • darcy

so today should be 75% off?

          • Melissa

I went today its still 50%. I’m thinking tomorrow (Thursday) it will be 75%!

  13. CHI

OT, but the American Greeting store has awesome deals on christmas cards. The boxed sets were 50-75 off, but the best deals are the cards that are by themselves. In my store they were any 5 (christmas cards) for $1. I got several pop ups, a couple of the ones that play a little video (don’t know if they’ll work next year, but they were 20 cts!!)

  14. Jane

Iknow this is off topic, but Petco had some great deals today too. They had really big boxes of bones in the holiday section (they were in a holiday box) for only $4 (normally $10).

  15. Evonne

Did anyone print the Bodycology coupon from face book, if so does it have an expiration date? The one I printed has not expiration date on it, meaning no store will probably take it, they will think its fake.

    • SteelersChick

Yea, I printed it and it barely looks like a coupon. printed soo light the 1st time, thought I needed ink-changed that and it still printed kinda light.

      • Evonne

Thank you SteelersChick! I thought maybe it was just me. lol I was wondering why it printed so light (I have a new ink cartridge also) and no expiration printed on it. I don’t think any retailer is going to take that coupon. 🙁

        • SteelersChick

Hey Evonne, I went to Walmart today and used it. Bar code would not scan, at all, she looked at it a couple times, tried again and then just manually took the $1 off! 😉

  16. Leslie

This is completely OT, but has anyone ever had a problem where I clerk rings something up in your favor…then you explain what they did wrong…and they stand by their actions? Today I was returning 2 pair of shoes that were buy one get one 50% off. She did not factor in the 50% off. Refunded the whole price for both. I tried to explain to her the error…but she told me this was the price of the shoes. I explained again and she looked confused. I guess I should have left the store feeling happy. But I left feeling like I got something for nothing.

    • Tee

Thanksgiving night at Walmart I stood in line for two hours to get my son the XBox with Kinect for $199 with a $50 gift card back. I was purchasing the XBox and a Desk Chair for $39. I was stalked the whole way to the registers by what seemed like tons of people and approached by a few wanting the XBox. Needless to say I was scared (I hate Walmart) and thinking I need to leave this store and run to the car asap. I stood in line and the clerk had trouble with the XBox ringing up and then doing the gift card. She called over another clerk who could not figure it out and then the Customer Service Manager and Store manager. They said everything was straight they handed me the gift card I swiped my credit card without paying attention took my receipt grabbed the cart and walked as fast as I could to the exit. They checked my receipt and cart and highlighted it I left the door and ran to my car. As soon as I was in the car locked in I called my husband to tell him I got the XBox. He asked the final total so I pulled out the receipt and the total was only $96 and change. I freaked out..they only charged me for the chair and $50 gift card which was to be taken off with purchase of XBox. I drove home (5 minutes away) got my husband for protection and went back to Walmart with the XBox and receipt. I took it in explained the situation and showed them the receipt. The same manager came over that came to the register that supposedly fixed the transaction. She accused me of stealing the XBox and said that if I tired to return it then they would have to prosicute me. I asked so what should I do leave and she replied yes. Still feel guilty a month later even though I was honest.

      • Leslie

Wow Tee…that is crazier than my story. How in the world could she accuse you of that when you were trying hard to be honest. I would not feel guilty when she re-acted that way.

  17. Kathy

Sometimes you can’t win either way. I know the feeling. I am not sure how much explaining will get the point across.

  18. mindy

my target was a mess. i regretted going. i went home empty handed…. 🙁

  19. Deb

I loaded my cart at 7:00, Target was packed. I managed to find foil, paper towels, amd other goodies. Then, I parked the cart for just a second and went down an aisle. When I came back all my foil was gone. How rude!!!

    • Tarri

Sometimes it is hard to tell if it is a cart people just threw stuff in or somebody’s cart. Hopefully that is what happened. But for you that stinks either way.

  20. KatieBee

Vanity Fair “holiday” napkins were $1.49 each (they are plain white dinner napkins, but the packaging has ornaments on it); used the $1.25/2 Q from AllYou for those. They were located on the regular paper products aisle, but price checked and they were 50% off. Also purchased the BC Snickerdoodle cookie mix ($.84 each) and the Ziploc containers ($1.49 each); used the $1/2 BC cookie Q, $1.50/2 Ziploc container Q and the $1 off when you buy one cookie mix and one holiday ziploc container Target Q – pretty good deal! There were many holiday mark downs in regular shopping aisles – keep your eyes out for them if you’re in store!

  21. tiredandbroke

Has anyone seen any axe gift sets on sale? I saw that the kindle 3g keyboard was on sale at target for $99! Thats a great deal! I called the two targets near me and they were already sold out! 🙁

    • Kam

Walmart has axe sets 50% off! $5.00!!!

  22. Paula Brown

I had a Betty Crocker 75 cents off mix & icing coupon which scored me both items for just 62 cents because they were both on Christmas clearance. I also had 3 Scotch tape coupons (from a package back in the summer) which scored me 3 free pop up tape dispensers at Target today!

  23. Kari

I had $2/1 coupons for Starbucks Via Ready Brew!!! I paid $5.97 for 3 packages and I’ll get a $5 gc to Starbucks!!! What an AWESOME deal. Thanks for posting about the coffee!!!

  24. kim

Does anybody know when the toys will be marked to 50 -75% off? I know that last year I was able to get several great deals that were marked down.

    • abigail

Last year for me was around the 2nd week in January.

  25. C Maas

Went to to Targets and called another. No diapers. Better luck next year? Although, I hope to not be buying diaper then I suppose 😉

  26. lp

hi pls help me out in finding $5 target gift card on kimberely products in smartsource..i m new to this coupon site..pls pls

    • TCourtney

It was likely a regional deal. My area did not get it. Get your smart source coupon insert from 12/4 and check just to be sure. I hope you got it!

  27. Joanie C

Does any have the UPC for the aveeno gift set.

  28. betty

When does walmart Christmas clearance go to 75% off and 90% off?

    • Tarri

Mine Walmart was marked at 50% a couple days ago but was ringing up at 75%, but not for the paper goods, ornaments, lights, bags- still at 50% then.

  29. Beatrice

When do you think they’ll start marking the clearance down to 75% off?

    • Tarri

I don’t think it will go to 75%, it seems now they do 70% then 90%.

    • samirae

Target doesn’t mark down to 75% or 90% anymore. It goes 50% then 70% then it goes salvage and they donate it.

  30. Cece

My local Target is 70% off x-mas items, I scan the Starbucks ViA X-mas Blend and it was $2.39 each. WOOHOO! Great deal!

  31. Erin

70% yesterday in the Indianapolis area…….

  32. kustomer

90% in Bloomington, MN Target. Found holiday Solo plates for 23¢ mixed with the regular plates.

  33. Bonnie

How can Christmas stuff ALREADY be on clearance???????? It’s not even Thanksgiving yet! It makes me feel so anxious that I’m so far behind, but it’s not even December!

    • Bonnie

Ok for some reason when I came to this blog, it came to this page, even though it’s now 2012. Duh! I feel stupid for my comment. . ha ha ha.
