Walmart: Cheap DVDs & Blu-ray Movies (With $7.50 Hollywood Movie Money!)
Wow! Here’s what seems to be a pretty *HOT* deal on Blu-ray movies and DVDs. Through January 3rd, you may want to head on over to your local Walmart store where you should be able to find a display of select Blu-ray movies and DVD’s priced between $4-$8 each. Choose from titles like The Wizard of Oz, The Blind Side, Inception, The Matrix and more.
And here’s the best part… each of these specially marked DVDs and Blu-rays comes with $7.50 in Hollywood Movie Money – essentially making these movies free or almost free!
I was able to locate the display of movies near the Electronics department inside my local Walmart store here in Boise (see picture above). Keep in mind that each specially marked movie will have a blue sticker located on the bottom right with a unique Hollywood Movie Money code.
Just head on over here, enter your code and follow the directions to print a voucher valid for $7.50 off one admission ticket to a Warner Bros. Pictures movie at a participating theatre (please note that the voucher/certificate is only valid thru 1/12/12).
(Thanks so much for the heads up on this, Craig!)
Your welcome! Now you can have a blu-ray for like .50c if you take advantage of this great deal!
This was in our Sunday ad, but I couldn’t find it in our Niagara Falls, NY store.
Try looking for some of those titles with this blue sticker on it that state: GET UP TO $7.50 OFF. Good luck I know we have a WM here that has a lousy dvd selection and another WM superstore of sorts, has a huge selection.
When I first went to the larger store, I totally missed this display at first and went directly to an employee who didnt’ know much (shocker), and amongst looking for these specially marked dvds, BAM! there in the aisle way was this. How the heck I missed it IDK. X).
Anyone know what WB movies are playing right now?
I forget all of them, but you can choose between Happy Feet 2, J. Edgar, New Year’s Eve, Sherlock Holmes and….??? something with Tom Hanks in it.
When you go to print it off, it has your name on it and a serial number of sorts. It does NOT state any movie so if you decide to change your mind last minute at the theater, you can. Yay!. lol
Thanks Craig. You are so helpful! Hopefully it will be at my Walmart too.
Your welcome! Who doesn’t loooove super cheap blu-rays or dvds? And to top it off, $7.50 towards for a movie in the theater to boot! Now if the popcorn and pop was only super cheap too. lmao.
Happy Feet 2 and J. Edgar are playing at the cheap theater in my city.
I LOVE Hollywood Movie Money! My theater allows ticket purchases online and they told me that they just enter the information into their computers as a visa card and that I could do the same when purchasing tickets online with these! Makes it so much easier than waiting in line at the theater.
Thanks for this tip about entering the vouchers online. My theater can never seem to enter the numbers correctly!
Does anyone have any extra coupon for the Little Mommy My Very Real Baby Doll from walmart? I was out of ink and decide to run to the store to pick some up and came back and coupons all gone.
I have an extra one. What’s ur email address and I will email u to find out where to mail it.
My email is rojini@msn.com. Thank you very much.
My email is rojini@msn.com or jaredny68@hotmail.com. Thank you so much….
I tried to find these movies on Monday but Walmart had no clue where they were or what to look for-I’m not talking about just the electronics worker either. The store manager had NO clue so I left empty handed.
I found these in with electronics section, not with all the other dvds. Also they were not in that same red display. Just had the little blue stickers on them saying save up to 7.50. HTH
I had seen this with movies like Avatar and Rio (priced at $10) , but when I asked which movie theaters and how did it worked, no one knew… 🙁 So skeptical as I am, I didn’t buy. But for $4, I might take a bite. Thanks!
Any time I have the chance to participate with the Free movie money I take advantage of it. MMs has offered it for the past few months. I’m going to try to get these also. I’ve never had a problem using the ticket vouchers.
did anyone have trouble printing off the coupon? It says you need to install adobe reader, so I did that, but the coupon doesn’t print.
The only kids movie on their list was Happy Feet II- which is now at our 3.00 theater. I’m wishing I could redeem these for another Warner Bros movie and then just go into another movie (kid friendly) at the theater. Not sure if its worth trying. Found the movies but now thinking it may not be worth it b/c there are no good kid flicks that meet their requirement. Bummer.
I checked at my Walmart and they didn’t have this deal:( I guess it’s only certain Walmart stores?
