Great offers, but beware of the Hungry Hungry Hippos Travel Set. My daughter has it and it isn’t much fun…the big game is much more fun! But, free is a great price! 🙂

Agreed, we got the travel version of Hungry Hungry Hippos last time it was free/almost free and it ended up in the donation pile. It just wasn’t much fun. The levers are small, there are only two working hippos and you have to flick the balls out one by one before each game. Not the frantic bashing I remember from my childhood 🙂 I don’t think I’m even going to get them for donation/gifts.

I feel the same way about the KRE-O sets, Legos are so much nicer and easier to assemble. We have gotten a few KRE-O sets for free and ended up giving them all away because they just don’t stay on well and my son and his friends just don’t care for them. Probably why they are on sale often and so much cheaper than Legos.
I actually prefer the travel game. 🙂 The levers work much more smoothly than those in the full size version.

I want to cry, no matter what I do I can never print anything from coupons.com. Instead of a pop up box for my printer, it always shows a pop up for a fax number and I can’t figure out how to change it 🙁
Have you checked your printer settings? It could be check marked on fax

awww don’t cry! I think their should be a scroll down menu type thing on that pop up and chose what ever your printers called, it should work because I had that problem all the time before, just click around some on that menu. If theirs not a scroll down thing I THINK you can go to like all programs and their should be your printer somewhere and I think theirs a scroll down menu to chose to send things to your printer instead of a fax machine. I really hope this helps!
Don’t cry! I feel your pain – it took me over a year to figure out how to get my Macbook to print. I wanted to scream and throw the stupid laptop through the window too many times to count. Can you tell me how to print? I have a macbook & it keeps saying my printer settings aren’t compatible & then when i say print anyway it says it’s sending & then does nothing.
do you have their coupon printer installed? try uninstalling it, and installing it again? There has to be something in your settings. Check and make sure your printer is selected in your “pinters and faxes” under your settings tab (should be able to access from start up bar)
I had connected a new printer without uninstalling my old printer and I still had that old one as the default printer in my settigns and thats where it was sending all my coupons to!! aargh I was so frustrated.

I had the same problem. This is how I fixed it. Start -> Control Panel -> Printers -> Select the properties for your main printer -> Advanced Tab -> Printer Processor -> Change to WinPrint and RAW. ta da!!

I had the same problem. I tried everything they suggested to get the coupons to print. I contacted coupons.com several times by email and no response. I finally bought a new computer and now I have no problem. I still don’t know why I couldn’t print coupons on my old computer????

They weren’t on sale at Target, the small sets are $7.99, so you should be able to use them at Walmart and get the same deal.

Did you buy it just last week? My target will take coupons against previously bought products for about 10 days after. Just try customer service! Can’t hurt to ask.
You can take your receipt and coupon back within 3 days (I think) and they will give you the money back! I have done this when I’ve forgotten to give them a coupon before. It’s worth a shot.
The Target stores near me will only give you money back on a coupon up to close the same day of purchase. I would call first to avoid wasting a trip.

Callie Your default printer is set to the fax part of your all-in-one printer. You need to go to your printer and set you printer as the default printer (under devices and printers in windows 7 and printers and faxes in Windows XP). Typically you can set the printer to default by right clicking on the printer you need to print to.

Maybe take it back in with your receipt and the coupon and they can give you the amount for the coupon. (or adjust it down).

My store claims the 90 piece sets aren’t “construction sets” and refused my coupons telling me it was fradulent to try to use it on that product. Grrrr sometimes I HATE Target!

Look at the back of the box…it says Construction Set on mine…if it says it I feel like they kind of have to put it through because it is an acceptable product to use with the coupon. I didn’t have any problem with mine!
Mine wouldn’t take it either for the smaller one. Said it wasn’t a set & was meant for the larger one. They are probably right though. I doubt they intended for the smaller one to be free. 🙂
…when you buy one KRE-O TRANSFORMERS STARSCREAM or MEGATRON construction set. Does not say Optimus… So, how did they get them to take it for Optimus?

Btw, why must the default icon next to my name be a woman? I have also noticed I have only ever seen one man ever win a give away from this site as well. There are men that coupon, ya know? I happen to save more than my wife, especially when it come to getting stuff for free.

And I’m basically positive the giveaways are done randomly, so probably the reason you do not see many men winners is because not many men are entering. (Sometimes it’s hard to know from a name whether it’s a man or woman, so ya never know, maybe there are more man winners than you think!)

How do you use these if targets coupon policy states: We do not accept Internet coupons for free items with no purchase requirements.
The coupon is a $ off coupon not a coupon stating that the item is free.
I think that means they won’t that coupons like the John Frieda foam hair color we got in the mail that states “Free John Frieda Foam Color up to $X.XX value, no purchase necessary.” This is a coupon with a value on it that happens to be the same as the price in store to make it free.

I think it means if your coupon states “Get item X for free” – not necessarily that you are using a coupon that has a face value equal to or greater than their price for the item.
These coupons are for money off, not for a free product. The product ends up being free, though. The coupons they don’t take would say “free hungry hippos game” or whatever product. HTH. Happy couponing!!! 🙂
This is not a coupon for a “free” item, the item becomes free after they deduct the price of the coupon from the price of the toy. The policy you quoted refers to a coupon that says “free” on it without having to buy something else.
I believe a pruchase requirement means that in can not say “good for a free -insert item name here-“. You are technically purchasing these toys they just happen to be the same price of the coupon.
Help, It won’t let me print coupon for the transformer. I followed the website but it keeps telling me to enable cookies, which I did and accepted all cookies that poped up but still no coupon for me to print. Does anyone know how to go about this?

one of my aunt is have her baby’s first birthday, do you think i can give this as gift in goodie bags.. ? i think i can give boys the kre-o and for girls hungry toy ?
I’m not sure these toys are appropriate for 1 year olds, but if there are older kids coming to the party (3+) they seem like awesome goodie bag gifts!! It might be hard to print enough coupons if you have a lot of kids coming, though.
The Megatron is for 8-14 year olds and the Optimus box says 6-12 year olds, my son who is 14 years old has some of these and he always needs help to put it together the bigger Optimus had 542 PIECES! These are small pieces so a small child will definetly need help to assemble.

My Target will not take this coupon for the $7.99 KREO sets either. They say that this coupon is for the BIG sets that are $29.99, hence why the coupon beeps at checkout. Congrats to those who can get them for free, not at my Target though!

I went to my Super Target outside suburb of Houston and they refused the Hungry Hippo coupon on the travel set. They said it was for the bigger game. They were out of the Kreo so I have no idea if this deal would have worked. Thinking about trying another store!
SO, I rushed away to yet another SuperTarget and scored both the Hungry Hippo Travel and the Kreo sets and paid $0.00 no beeps! Today is a great day!
Where did you find the travel size? I only found the regular size and it was $19.99.
Found the travel size down from where the have all the board games. Same isle at Super Target. They have their own little section of small hand games, they had a few Connect 4’s infront of the HHH ones. Good luck!

Had a bit of trouble with the coupon at Walmart. I was getting two and one wouldn’t scan and they accused me of having a copy (especially since one was printed a bit lighter). I RESPECTFULLY explained that to the cashier and again to the manager who also questioned the size. She did say I was right about the serial numbers being different on the coupons, and gave it to me.
As a side note, I almost always have issues with coupons and price matching at this particular walmart!

I was able to get 2 of the $7.99 sets at Target this afternoon with no trouble, no beeps, and no cashier input needed. Actually I was surprised when I saw my receipt that it took off the full $8; I was expecting it to adjust to $7.99.

Just got the Optimus Prime and HHH game with no problems at Target. I also printed the other coupon for the other two characters thinking they would have the small sets in those too but they didn’t at my Target. Has anyone else been able to get on other than Optimus Prime?

I just got back from Target and was able to get the KRE-O with no problems. I was also able to get 2 free Baby Alive dolls, and 2 other Baby Alive dolls for $1.88 they were clearanced for $6.88 and $9.88, and I used the $8 coupon on the hasbro site.

Where did you find the clearance baby alive dolls? All I saw were the ones on the endcaps which were 22 and higher

The 1st Target I went to today was completely out of both items even though the Kre-O was instock according to Targets website. But they did have other Kre-O characters. And I was kind of sad seeing how small the boxes were, but like everyones says– Free is Free!
Then the 2nd store was pretty well stocked. At least 10 boxes of the Kre-O Optimus Prime, and 3 of the Hungry Hungry Hippo (but I only got 2 of each). But the other travel games look funner; Connect 4 and Perfection. Also, I noticed those travel games don’t have individual tags. They are labeled “Games for fun” (or something like that) and the price. 1 slot for several games.
I just paid tax, $2.xx. Oh how do I hate California’s high tax!
