Is this a good deal for papertowels?

    • Amy

yes it is. I bought these last night they had them for this price and they are very good paper towels and that is an awesome price for them.

      • Amy

sorry, I meant last TIME, not last night…lol

      • GA Mommy

ok, thanks! I think I’ll go ahead and place my order! How long does it usually take for delivery?

        • savedbycoupons

Staples usually delivers to my home in about 2 or 3 days. VERY quick! Love ordering from them! SAH has 4% cash back, too!

    • mommyspendsless

My “buy price” for paper towels is $5/pack for 8-single or 6-big rolls… and that’s for generics or regular paper towels like Sparkle. IMHO, this is a great price (but maybe not a super stock up price) for the premiums (Brawny, Bounty)

  2. mindy

dont forget to go thru ebates.com or shopathome.com for a little extra cash back!!

  3. Kristy

That is a great deal- and I went thru shop at home! WONDERFUL!

    • Jolie

Oh darn! forgot to go through shop at home!! Still a good deal:)

  4. Anna

Thank you!!! I love Staples! They have awesome customer service!

  5. Utri

Anybody knows how much are costco paper towels??

    • Elizabeth M.

We shop at Sams club an normally pay about $12 – $14 so this is a good deal. I bought two at this price. Family of 5, so we go through some paper towels.

  6. kathleen

add the $1 off 8 roll pack available from coupons.com right now to sweeten the deal. the coupon says available at wal-mart, but it is a manufacturer’s coupon.

    • Cole

Kathleen: what zip code on coupons.com because I’m not see the $1 off coupon? thanks.

    • Sana

How do I add coupon if i’m buying online. I do not see where coupon information would be entered. I have printout of the coupon from coupon.com. Thank you

      • Kim R

Click on your cart, at the bottom is a tab “add coupon” which will take you to a page to enter the coupon (5 or 16 digits). I’ve tried this several times with both the coupons for this product I have and can’t get past an error message. Let me know if it works for you. thx.

    • Kim R

How do you enter the Brawny coupon? I have the same coupon but keep getting an error message. Thanks!

    • Mrspurple

Can you use paper coupons online? Do you enter the unique code for the coupon? Has this worked for anyone? That would be cool if it could be done, I’ve never heard about it. Has anyone really done this before and had it work for them?

    • kelly

they DO NOT take manufacturers coupons for online purchases, I was on the online chat and this is what she said… bummer!!

      • Kim R

        Thanks for clarifying this!!

      • Mrspurple

Thanks, makes sense, I had never heard of it before.

We have dramatically reduced our need for paper towels at home by using old wash cloths/cut up towels/t-shirts.
A couple years ago I realized how much money we were spending on paper products-even while using Q’s. You have to keep in mind-all this stuff is tossed in the garbage! So I began looking around the house for alternatives. I can use a clean cotton rag on just about every surface except when I clean up our chihuahua’s doggie paper (she’s paper-trained). We use disinfectant wipes there.
    Saves us some cash 🙂

    • chepomom

Thank you for this tip. after we just used up my last huge papertowel order from staples i realized yikes! I use a roll a day! with three toddlers I get that we make messes, but am trying to switch to cheap paper napkins for dinner and use reusable wiping cloths for messes..knowing I use that many paper towels in a month I realized the kind of example am I setting for my kids when their are better alternatives for the environment. God Bless!

      • Gil

        You’re very welcome 🙂
I’ve never had a problem using the cheapest paper products I could find-especially when it’s all tossed in the trash or toilet anyway…

        • Ashley57

Also, look into cloth napkins. I bought about six and change them every few days for myself and my husband. Works great and eliminates the cost of paper napkins.

    • mommyspendsless

Can you come and train my husband? 🙂 I bought a package of the cheap wash clothes from Walmart (10-12 for like $5) and I’ve been using that for wiping off counters, dusting, etc. and just using paper towels for the yuckiest messes, but my husband will still grab a whole sheet to wipe off a milk mustache or our toddler’s post-snack hands. I’ve found buying the choose-a-size paper towels helps a lot.

      • RL

I highly recommend microfiber towels for the kitchen – not all microfibers are the same though – but Don Aslett (QVC) makes some great ones. I got my hubby (who is a mega paper towel user to convert pretty easily b/c of their ease). they dry dishes spotless and in a flash and are super absorbent. We use one (maybe 2) for a whole day of kitchen tasks (dishes, tabletops, toddler sticky fingers, etc) they are great. We now only use papertowels for microwaving quick plates.

  8. Jen

So in order to have it delivered to my home without paying for shipping, I need to order at least $45, right? 🙂

    • Alison

No, this item qualifies for free delivery!

    • Tracy

No, because it states that this item qualifies for free delivery!

  9. sara

Thanks for the great deal Collin! We need more paper towels at our house.

  10. Michelle

Was totally just going to post this deal after I spent some time on the Staples site. Thanks for the heads up about the garbage bags. This deal combined with the garbage bags saved me some money and a trip to the store later today. :0) Yay! We don’t go thru a ton of paper towels (I, too, use rags to eliminate trash), but they’re nice to have on hand. Plus, we donate a lot of them to my daughter’s class.

    Thanks!!

i’m a total paper towel snob..i have only purchased bounty for years. the other day at safeway I was running low on money and so I purchased the safeway brand…wow I love them. They were also 12 large rolls for 9.99. Brawny are my second choice to bounty…they are thick and absorbant and this is a standard good deal. About the best price you can do for this size roll because they rarely go cheaper.

    • Laura

I used to buy Safeway paper towels and toilet paper, but last year I moved to TN and they don’t have Safeway/Vons here. I agree with you that it’s good quality!

  12. Laura

    Ordered it 🙂 Thanks Collin.

  13. Gina

I got these last time, and they were the skinniest rolls of paper towels I’ve ever gotten.

  14. Mary

Thanks for this deal, I was on my last roll and no really good deals this week on towels til this one!!!

  15. Stephanie

I tried to use the coupons.com coupon for purchasing online and it does not work. Chatted w/ customer service adn she said manufacturer’s coupons can only be used the store, not online. You can use Staples coupons online.

  16. carol

could someone post the coupon code? I can’t see it at work.

  17. Rebecca

Perfect, thanks! Now I need a good toilet paper deal to stock up, missed the last few!

  18. bee

🙁 I wish they delivered to Hawaii! Great deal!

    • Tami

I wish I lived in Hawaii!

  19. nicole

can you use reward $ to purchase online?

    • Jennifer

Yes–you can use as many of the rewards as you want online.

  20. Aps

    Can anyone give
Coupon code please .Shows regular price when i am trying to checkout .Thanks !

  21. Lisa

Great deal. I just bought 2 cases. Thanks!

  22. jykao2@yahoo.com

Just wanna mention this for ppl who wanna stock up like me when the price is right. We use one roll per week, but it costs around $15-6 in our costco store, so I guess I would stock up now. So I added some brawny and 13gal garbage bags and some other stuff for around $75.61 and used a coupon I purchased online and get code instantly via ezcouponshop .com for $25 off $75 purchase, so here is my summary: $75.61 – $25 + tax = $55.29 – 3% from SAH +$1.99 for coupon bought from: https://search.yahoo.com/r/_ylt=A0oGdSnMNzBPsR8AJ_VXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTE1ZGswMWJhBHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMQRjb2xvA3NrMQR2dGlkA0FDQlkwMl8xNDI-/SIG=122ne4ion/EXP=1328588876/**http%3a//www.ezcouponshop.com/staples-coupon.php

  23. usafsam

Although BigLots does not take coupons these are regular price of $7.00 for a large 8 roll pack everyday. The BigLots toilet paper is $5 for a large pack and it is just as good as Northern and Charmin Basic.

  24. Crysgtal
