Total = $30
Minus 10% discount for purchasing 6 or more bottles of wine
Pay $27
Submit for a $25 mail-in rebate (form available in regional CVS circulars)
Final cost $2 – only $0.33 per bottle!

I was just looking at that ad and thinking I need to go shopping for some vino. In the Chicago area, the Turning Leaf is 2/$11 though. Still a bargain!

    • Mags

I did similar deal back in Novemeber last year and was supposed to receive my rebate within 6 weeks – NEVER DID! Forget it! I am so mad for not getting my rebate and even though it’s tempting to think you’re paying cents for a bottle of wine it’s not worth it, you’re never going to receive your 25 bucks. They don’t send rebates. Just wanted to warn you all.

      • Mags

PS. I didn’t get my money back and the wine is gone and long forgotten 🙁

        • steph

there is a customer service ph # on the rebate form. (I would have posted it for you, but mine is already in the mail)

      • Susan

I did it also in December, and the check just came three days ago. Hopefully yours is on it’s way.

        • Mags

I hope you’re right Susan. As soon as I receive it (if I receive it) I’m running to the store for more wine. Thank you Ladies 🙂

      • Cassie

I did this same rebate too and just got mine a few days ago too 🙂 I can’t wait to do it again – great deal!

        • Jean

received my rebate check on Saturday

  2. BeckyR

I live in Chicago and it’s in my ad!!!! Headed there now, haha!! 🙂

  3. Smellyann

Wish it was in VA, we could use some of that right now! 😉 LOL

  4. Brandy

Yes! Matter of fact I did this deal a few weeks & just received my $25 rebate check yesterday! Hoping I can do it again!

    • Ronni

Me too….I received by $25 rebate on Wednesday and used it for more wine….Money Maker! And you don’t have to buy it at CVS, so if you can find a better deal elsewhere it will work.

      • Amanda

Are you planning on doing the rebate again? Can you do it twice with the same address?? Mine hasn’t come in the mail yet, I was just about to contact them.

    • Zack

Same here! We couldn’t believe our eyes when we saw this one today!

    • Jen

I emailed Turning Leaf about the current rebate and they said if you did the one last year in Nov/Dec you can still do this one. It is 1 current rebate per household, not 1 per household ever (like those crummy Olay gift baskets with the “free” magazine subscription/rebate forms).

  5. Kanako

Yes yes yes! I found the rebate form (live in Las Vegas) in my local CVS ad!! Now I need to go get them and submit the rebate form 🙂 Thanks for letting me know!

  6. Lisa

I’m in Michigan, and the rebate is in my flier but doesn’t say MI in the states that it is for 🙁 Such a tease

    • Jennifer

I live in Michigan, too. Don’t you just love how we live in the most depressed state in the nation in terms of the economy and we always seem to miss out on so many of the good deals and in my area, many of the MQs are either not there or are for less value than in other areas of the country.

      • Jen

I called the number on the rebate form and they said it was valid in Michigan.

  7. Suzy

:/ Wish they did this in more states.

  8. Amu

Did this last year and got my rebate check last Friday. Am ibstil eligle to do the rebate?

  9. Glenn

I did this back in December and just got my rebate check. Can someone verify that this is a different offer and that I can do it again?

    • Debbie

I was just wondering the same thing. It would be great if I can do this deal again.

  10. lorine

WOW! Wish I could do this in FL..that is amazing! lol

  11. Katie

It’s in the PHX CVS ad – but turning leaf is $6.99/bottle (as is bella sera); but it still is an amazing price per bottle after rebate…good to have on hand for sangria 🙂

    • Zack

Check Rite Aid if you have one around. Our price in our RA ad was $4.99/bottle. No 10% discount for 6 bottles like CVS but still a great deal!

  12. Melanie

Woo hoo!! Looks like Turning leaf is 2/$11 in Chicagoland though. . .still an awesome deal!!

  13. Yesi

Has anyone tried this wine before?

    • Charlotte

Yes. I bought some turning leaf wine before Christmas. I have to say it was quite enjoyable. 🙂 I am by no means a wine expert, but I’d buy it again.

  14. Corrine

Can I still do the rebate if I live in WI? I can run down to IL and get them but will it work if my addy is WI for the rebate? Even I I purchased in IL?

    • Sue

I have the same question. Could someone please read the fine print and let us know? Thanks for your help.

  15. Peri

Why oh Why do I have to live in Texas!!! LOL!

  16. Michele

Also curious if you can do this rebate if you did the one a couple months ago. Last time i bought my wine at Ralphs and was able to submit for the rebate and got my check last week. You don’t have to buy at CVS.

  17. Jodi

We can’t even buy wine in CVS stores in MN. Passed this onto some MN snowbirds in AZ and CA.

    • Bre

You do not need to purchase the wine from CVS

  18. janice

Are these rebate forms in the store? I don’t go to cvs much, but I know walgreens has the fliers in a rack at the front of the store. Is it the same at cvs? Thanks!!

    • steph

      Yes! Just did this… yahoo!!

    • Bre

Yes they are on the back page of this weeks ad. You do not need to purchase the wine at CVS though. You will over pay

  19. Joanna

MAN I wish I lived in California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, or Illinois. As Jodi said, no wine in CVS Minnesota stores.

    • Mags

Joanna, believe me: you would not want to live in Illinois.. 😉

  20. Damon

Depending on how this all goes I might have quite the money maker! The cab is on clearance for 2.48 at my local grocery store.

6 bottles Turning Leaf Cabernet sauvignon $14.88
    Minus 10% (6 bottle discount) or 1.49 = 13.39.
    Submit for $25 rebate = 11.61 moneymaker!!

    • Bre

The purchase amount has to be over the rebate amount. Not a moneymaker rebate

      • Damon

Really?? Guess I didnt see that it the fine print. Will I still get my 13.39?

        • Bre

you have to spend at least $25 on six bottles in order to get the rebate for 6 bottles

  21. Mira

For people asking if you can do this more than once, I have done it twice this year, a couple of months apart, from the same address, and received both rebates:) I am in California. I plan on doing it again this week.

  22. Tina

For those of you who have tried this wine, which “type” of wine is suggested?

    • Platapus

Dancing Bull Sav Blanc is the best of the bunch of them, IMO.

  23. Tina F.

Wow I’m seeing this a bit late, Im in Cali Im headed there in the morn!

  24. Sarah

Which ones do you guys recommend? I don’t know anything about wines lol but I like sweet drinks. Not necessarily syrupy sweet but mildly sweet? If that makes sense lol

  25. alicia

lol all of you saying you wished you lived in cali for cheap wine. im considering moving from cali for a double couponing state!!! maybe they think ppl in cali need to drink more since they cant double coupons lol just a silly thought <3 u collin nd thanx

  26. Anette Juarez

I think I saw Bella Sera on sale at Ralphs for $3.99. Need to check it out to be sure but if it is, will it be a moneymaker?

    • Bre

No the amount of the wine has to be over the rebate amount.

  27. Grechen

I got my check last week also

  28. Bre

Yeah you DO NOT have to buy this at CVS you can get it at any store. Ralphs has the wine for $4.19 a bottle if your buy six which makes it .15 for 6 bottles. I did this last year around Christmas and received my check Saturday. I grabbed it again yesterday at Ralphs!!! Great Deal!! Turning leaf is not my fav. but it is fine for having guests over and you cano not beat it for .15 for 6 bottles. Oh that is not including tax or CRV.

  29. Katie Collard

That turning leaf taste like SH–!!!! Don’t even bother. Like drinking bad medicine. Spend a few extra bucks to get a better bottle. You’ll save money cause you’ll end up throwing the leaf down the drain. 🙂 Just had to beware.

  30. Lorin

CVS in Albuquerque, New Mexico has the Turning Leaf for $7.49, not 2/$10 🙁 Mirassou is $9.99.

  31. Lindz

I was told I could buy 6 bottles Ralphs and I would pay less than the rebate ($23.94)yet they would just give me a check for what I paid. Is this true or do I need to pay over the rebate amount? thank you.

  32. Damon

Hey all. I called the customer service number to mention that the cab was on clearance at my store. Javier (the gentleman I spoke with) told me and I quote. “buy it all!”. When I mentioned the rebate would outweigh the cost he said “look like you just got paid to drink our wine” He confirmed that purchase price doesn’t need to exceed 25$!

  33. Melissa

Good to know about the money maker becuase the Sauvignon Blanc was on sale at my CVS for 3.49. Love making money and getting 6 bottles of wine! I’m no wine expert, but I don’t think this wine is too bad.

  34. Platapus

I did this deal last time and my check just got here yesterday. Just in time for the new deal. Last time and this time at my CVS there were hanging coupon tags on some of the bottles that were for $2 off when you got the wine and a card. All the wines were included on the coupon tag list as the rebate deal, like they were meant to be used together. I got 6 wines, and 6 of the .99 cent cards. So basically the coupons give you 6 free cards, and a dollar off each bottle. Since out the wines from last time the one I liked the most was the Dancing Bull Sav Blanc, I just got 6 of those. They were $6.99 each, but the coupons made them $5.99 ea. Then the CVS 10% discount on 6 bottles of wine took off $4.20. I’ll get back $25 from the rebate.

  35. Mrs V Kabu

I did this deal last November. Never received the Rebate.Still waiting.

  36. Jane

wow – wish this deal was in VA. If anyone knows of other good wine deals I’d love to hear about them. I’m getting married this summer and we plan to provide the beverages ourselves. This deal would have been perfect – too bad.

  37. Nans

I got this deal in Chicago – yea! Taxes were slightly higher, so the total was ~$30, but still an awesome deal! I am submitting my rebate tomorrow. I will keep the customer service number, based upon what I have read from everyone else.

  38. Maddie

I did this last year and got my check yesterday $25.00 baby. Now I can cash it and do it again.

  39. Danielle

I did this deal back in February and still haven’t received my check – anyone know what the deal is or what # to call about this?
