    Thank you for sharing this offer. What I don’t understand is why you need to but in a credit card if there isn’t a balance?

      A lot of companies do this so people can’t get 10 accounts and use the credit multiple times. Since credit cards are tied to your mailing address, they’re able to keep a tighter rein on their promos.

      go to vitacostrewards.com and log in (should be your same email/pw as vitacost.com) Look for the My Rewards tab and when your mouse rolls over it, click on Rewards Statement to create your code to use @ ckout.

      YOu get a message saying:You have earned $10 Vitacost reward” and there will be a link in that email to convert into reward code,once you do that you will have a $10 code to use at Vitacost..

    WOW!! I just called customer service and the guy was a COMPLETE JERK!!! After waiting on hold for about 5 minutes and giving the guy all of my info and him telling me I can’t have free shipping he proceeded to tell me I couldn’t use my code and that was it. I asked if there was anything he could do for me and he said no. He could place the order but it wouldn’t be $10 off or free shipping. He was not friendly about it at all!! If I ever get my free code to work I’ll use that but will probably never shop their otherwise!!!

      I agree, not good customer service. My husband placed his first order on Feb. 5th, so I “chatted” with CS today to find out where the order was since it is still showing as “not shipped” in his account. They said it didn’t download to their main system and we would have to re-enter it all in a new order…oh, and the $10 off promo code wouldn’t work anymore, so I’d have to call in to get that money off now. That’s all, just an, “Oops, thank you for being our customer, but now you’re going to have to do twice as much work to place that same order with us and receive it a month after you first placed it….well, maybe, unless our system spits you out again.” It obviously is in their system somewhere because it’s still showing when I log in, and originally the charge was in our checking account and now it’s not (thank goodness!). I’m not happy with this company right now and we will NOT be re-doing the order.

        Not to mention, their website can’t handle a simple order! This deal was the FOURTH time I’ve tried to use my new user credit. Each time it’s crashed over and over as I’m submitting my info. Not a good way to attract new customers at all.
