you can also mix shades, sometimes i mix a lighter and a little darker one, when i run out of the shade i need at the time, just dab a bit on the brush of each color and mix in the lid.

I got three different shades because I’m a medium I *think* (part Chinese here! LOL) but I’ve never been able to gauge the exact right shade and usually assume I’m whiter than I am! My brother used to always be like, “Why does your face look so white after you put on your makeup!?” So I figure if I am wrong I can finally figure out which one is right! Great concept for a free sample! If one is too light it can become under eye concealer and too dark is probably good for summertime tans? Just a thought. Thanks Collin!!!

You will all LOVE this! I’ve been an exclusive Bare Minerals user since I tried it 8 years ago! Prepare to get addicted and never go back to regular makeup. I know it seems expensive once you start but I wear it everyday and usually only have to buy 2 foundations a year! Well worth the money! Plus it has sunscreen!

I got the powder and also two other samples. I have used Bare Minerals for the last 4 years and I would not use anything else EVER! I was skeptical that a powder would cover up because when i first started using it my face was really broke out but now my complexion looks wonderful and it really does cover well. There is also a deal on their specials page where you can get a $5 gift card and a small sized cell renewal for $5.
