If you’ve been reading my cooking posts lately, you know that I have been following a Paleo diet which consists of eating lots of veggies! One way that I like to keep my menu exciting is with this fun gadget! It’s called a World Cuisine Spiral Vegetable Slicer – which you can currently snag for only $24 + $5 shipping on Groupon, so $29 to have this shipped to your door! Sweet deal!

On a side note, I posted about this product previously when it was on sale for $31.88 on Amazon (now it is $39 + shipping!), so Groupon is offering up a pretty fantastic price for one awesome gadget! 🙂

Great for making fancy spiral vegetable garnishes for salads as well as making curly fries from potatoes, the easy-to-use World Cuisine Tri-Blade Spiral Vegetable Slicer is made of durable plastic and comes with three sets of interchangeable blades. Just place your fruit or vegetable onto the prongs and turn the while pushing base toward the blade to make continuous spiral strands.

(Pesto w/Zucchini “Noodles”)

I recently used this identical slicer to make the yummy Pesto w/Zucchini Noodles recipe shown in the photo above. I love that you can spiral cut anything from squash to zucchini, sweet potatoes to apples.

This slicer comes with three sets of blades to make your noodles thin or thick. This gadget suctions to your counter and is so simple to use, even my kiddos can make their own zucchini noodles (of course, I have to help them just a little! 😉 ). And be sure to check out all the great reviews on Amazon.

If you have any great recipes using this slicer, please share with me below! Thanks!

(Thanks, Shirley!)

does this work good for onions?

I bought this when you posted this a few weeks ago and I really love it. The zucchini pasta works really well and is a fun way to fool your brain in to thinking that it is grain-based noodles. I have really enjoyed the product and thank you for the fun ideas. My kids think it is fun and can use it with very careful supervision from Mom or Dad.

Thanks Colin. Just ordered it. Read your wonderful review when you posted it a while back. Thanks for watching Groupon on our behalf for a great price.

  5. Jesse

Is it BPA free? I couldn’t find that information on Amazon.

    • Jesse

The “merchant” on the Q & A section of Groupon for this product said he didn’t know what BPA is….?! Not a good sign.

  6. Anita Myers

IS IT DISHWASHER SAFE TOO? THANK YOU!

    • Jesse

  8. Lisa

Decided to give this a try. Looks like a fun gadget for my kitchen and may help us eat more veggies.

  9. Kim

I really love mine! Seriously, the zucchini noodles taste better than pasta! I make a raw marinara sauce and voila… spaghetti that is vibrant and fresh!

    • Mariah

Kim…would you mind sharing your raw marinara sauce? I eat a 60 – 80% raw diet. I am always looking for new recipes! I can give you my email if you want. Thank you 🙂

      • Kim

Sure, email me at kimns at digis dot net and I will share. I am about 50% raw. Maybe you could share a favorite with me too!

That’s so funny that you posted this as I saw this deal earlier on Groupon and had to search your posts to find the link you posted to Amazon to compare prices before I bought it. I LOVE your Cooking with Collin posts. They inspire me.

  14. Michelle

Collin, I made spiral butternut squash, with coconut oil, salt and pepper…just bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes, give it a stir about half way through. So yummy!

    • Krystal

      Sounds great!

A good flourless batter to coat veggies in:

Whip up some egg whites in a cold steel bowl, and fold in an egg yolk. Sprinkle in some salt. Viola! Dip your veggies and fry them up. Taste delicious!

Cant wait to get mine in the mail! I was talking to my hubs about it and once I said I could make curly fries his ears perked up and was like I dont care you need to buy this! lol

  17. Andrea
