Thank you! Between this & the Target deal my daughters birthday is covered!
Anybody have an opinion on what age group this is good for?
I was thinking about getting it for my little sister’s birthday
but I’m afraid she might be too old for dolls (shes turning 11)
Any thoughts?
She probably is too old for it. I bought this for my 5year old. These are the very basic barbie like dolls
too old for dolls….cut off is kind of 8-9. I have five daughters: 14, 12, 6, 5, & 2. Just my opinion
Ok! Thank you all for the help! I’ll keep scanning Hip2Save for other good deals 😀
Is this doll ok for 1 year old ?
My daughter started getting these just after her second birthday and she’d carry them around or make them “dance” or “jump” on things but at almost-3yo she’s just now starting to really develop the imagination and patience to sit down and play with them (create scenarios, dialogue, etc.)
These are better for toddlers than most Barbie/Princess dolls because there aren’t any small pieces to choke on, lose or struggle to take on and off the doll. As another commenter posted, these are the most basic of the Princess dolls and the leotard and shoes are mold/painted on and not removable. The tutu is fastened by a single small piece of Velcro so it’s fairly easy to remove. The hair does not encourage styling or brushing (and in fact, if removed from the pony tails/buns it comes in, looks pretty bad).
Says 4-14 in the product info.
My 2 year old got the Cinderella doll for Christmas. What I like about it is the leotard and shoes are PAINTED on! =) Can’t lose them!! There is a tutu that is detachable, but it is a great “first” Barbie! I think I might get the set of 3 and give her the two at b-day and Christmas and then have 1 left for Toys 4 Tots or Angel Tree!
These are priced the same in the store. I was able to get about 6 individual barbie dolls for 2.99 each. I went to two different stores in NC and the sale was available at both stores. I also got the hot potato game and hi-ho cherry game for 3.49 each.
thanks for posting!
Are these good quality dolls?
Yes, they are. These are actual Disney Princess dolls, not a knock off.:) We have the Belle and Ariel already and my girls love them. (ages 3 and 5)
