For those of you who couldn’t grab this: Try Lowe’s for their clearance. They always (all over TX atleast, I travel a lot) have the good quality individual tools on clearanced down to around a $1 a piece. I got the hubs a grill brush, spatula and tongs the other day for less than $5! We really don’t need corn holders (waste of material, imo) or the bag and he has a silicon basting brush so it was a nice little surprise for our first grill day of the spring! Garage sales & Craigslist often have these kits brand new never used for like $5 too!
Arrived today. Good for the camper but not really worth more than the $11.99 I was charged.
This was a bust for me. I have seen sets like this for much less. Apparently 1SaleADay is selling through the Sears Website now. It came in a 1SaleADay package with no packing slip. And the return policy is that I must get a form to return it on my dime to them. So I cannot even return this in a Sears store. I thought it would be much nicer, so those of you who wanted to get in on this and didn’t, well thank your lucky stars. Glad it was just $13 I’m out and not more.
very very poor quality. Like Allison said, you are lucky if you didn’t get in on this “deal”.
Very disappointed in this set. The bag’s zipper was already broken when it arrived with gouges in the “wood” trim on the tools. I would never have ordered if I had known the quality was this poor – the “original price” was very misleading, and very suspicious that it is no longer listed as a product on Sears’ website. I didn’t realize that it was One Sale A Day selling through Sears, and if I’d known that I never would have ordered it, because everything through OSAD that I have ordered before is of equally poor quality. I won’t even consider buying through them anymore, seeing as everything I’ve ever received has ended up in the garbage. I’ll be sending a email to Sears voicing my disappointment about the choice to partner with a company that offers such subpar products at such “great deals.”
This was definitely a frugal failure! The set came yesterday and it is total junk. I thought it was from Sears and must be at least half-way decent but it’s garbage!
Mine was also cracked around the wood handle. If I was the one promoting these deals I would have a problem with this. As a consumer it makes me very skeptical of these *HOT* deals….
I never received my purchase and Sears is saying they can’t find my order yet pay pal shows I paid. . . frusterated with SEARS! Hoping to get my money back! Did anyone else have this problem?
