Thanks Collin for highlighting boxtop for Education. It is a wonderful program. My nephews school has greatly appreciated all the support I have thrown them over the years…in just 3 short months, I have been able to save over 1000 boxtops. You’d be surprised at all the stuff that have them on (think outside the box…literally; I have found them on toilet paper and diapers before!). Every little bit helps!
I’ve been collecting Box Tops for years. I wait until I have a bag full and then send them in all together. Of course there are so many products that have box tips on them, many that we all get free, that it only takes a few weeks to fill up a bag. I am looking for a school that is in dire need for some help and more importantly, a school that has a coordinator who is keeping on top of this program. I saved literally hundreds of these box tops with the intention of dontating to my daughter’s (she is a 1st grade teacher) Ann Arbor, MI school. (I had some reluctance about this from the start…Ann Arbor, MI schools are doing just fine, thank you very much.)
Well, her school wants the tops submitted only if glued to worksheets. I suffer from severe arthritis and clipping and gluing box tops is not part of my future. My daughter — she is simply too busy to “hassle with this stupid stuff.”
So! I’ve got box tops. Cannot neatly clip and glue to worksheets but I would be more than happy to assist a desrving school. And, I am fortunate that I have the ability to pull in at least 100 hundred equally supporting dontaters.
So, please tell me about your school, Coordinators, and I assure you that I
will help you if I can.
I am the coordinator for our very small school – Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Grade School in Random Lake, WI. We have under 100 students ranging from preschool – Grade 6. We are in a small community and every little bit – or Box Top – helps our Home and School Budget which in turn helps the school budget. I am used to trimming and sorting our box tops – most aren’t turned in on the collection sheets (and I don’t require them to be). We would appreciate all the help you could provide. Have a great day!
