CVS: Come Shop with Me (+ Possible Coupons Printing from Magic Coupon Machine & More!)
Several weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit a CVS and film a short video with the TODAY.com crew. Check out the video below to see how I snagged some fantastic deals on personal care, grocery, and household products and then be sure to check out my favorite CVS deals for this week as listed below.

I wanted to add to the CVS savings for all of your readers. My CVS had a bunch of shampoos and conditioners marked down 50% off, including Aussie, Herbal Essences, Head and Shoulders, and Pantene. Here’s a break down of what I did:
Aussie/Herbal Essenses (marked down to $1.99 from $3.99)
Used $1/2 Aussie/HE coupon (exp 6/30)
Like paying $1.49 per bottle!
OR, here’s an even better deal!
Pantene shampoo/conditioner (marked down to $2.49 from $4.99)
Used $3/2 Pantene shampoo and conditioner (exp 6/30)
Like paying $0.99 per bottle! That’s hard to beat!
There were also some of the larger sized bottles marked down to $3.49, so after coupons those would be $1.99, which is still an AWESOME price!

Barb – CVS should allow you to use a manufacturer’s coupon on a clearance item. Try showing them their coupon policy next time. It states:
“CVS/pharmacy will accept manufacturer coupons for an item that is on sale.”
Only CVS coupons for a % off (i.e. 20% off your purchase) are not valid on sale items.
That’s crazy! That sounds like a ‘personal’ rule b/c it sure isn’t in their policy!
My CVS does .. I can even use their coupons on clearance.. I would call the manufacturers and tell them that that store will not honor their coupons

I wanted to also mention that if you use a green bag tag and bring your own bag to CVS you will earn $1.00 extra buck after 4 trips using it! That is another “hip” and easy way to earn rewards!

It should be 4 — and it’s a computer thing, so it shouldn’t vary by store. Make sure they scan merchandise before scanning your green bag tag. If the tag is scanned first, it doesn’t “count.”
It used to be 4 at my CVS too. It’s 12 now 🙁 I guess that promo varies regionally. It’s the same at the 4 or 5 CVS’s near me, so I know it’s not just one store making an independent call.

The Clear Scalp Therapy is at my CVS in a try me size for just under 2 bucks, so free after to CVS coupon. I do remember seeing a coupon for them in one for the inserts, forget which one and the value though.
there was a coupon in yesterday’s RP insert, but it excludes Trial/Travel size.

I’m still having a problem finding this too. I don’t know if it’s me, but I can’t even find where to sign in without putting “sign in” in the search bar. After I sign in I can’t find the site for the softsoap coupon. ????

I had a lot of problems with this too. Finally went in using FireFox and then the link buttons showed up.
Yesterday I got $10 on $30 gillette purchase.
I got that one too. I have been trying to come up with a deal scenario to put it to good use. Any ideas?
I got the same coupon and this is what I did…
Buy 1 Gillette Fusion razor 9.99
Buy 1 Gillette Fusion shave gel 5.29
Buy 1 Gillette Fusion 4ct Cartridges 15.99
I then used the $10/$30 CVS coupon
Buy 1 Gillette Cartridge get Gillette razor free up to 13.99 and
$1/1 Gillette Fusion shave gel
I also used $10 ECB and my total after tax was .84 and I got back $4 ECB for the razor
So without using any ECBs your total would be a little over $10 (depending on your store’s prices) and you’d get back $4 ECB so a little over $6 for everything!

machine also printed a coupon for $2 off a gillette fuision Cartridges
I got a $7 off formula q the other day combined with my .75 ecbs and 20% off q I got a tub of formula for $5. I was pretty happy about that =)
Too bad a lot of the cvs stores dont keep their machines filled with paper to print after scanning your card. I have gone to 2 stores so far this weekend and no coupons were available, because of empty machines
You can log into your acct online and print them! Works for me sometimes! 🙂
My store has a scanner at the front of the store and also one by pharmacy. See if yours does, too–the second machine might have paper!
I got a $10 off $30 Gillette Shaving coupon and $2 off Fusion blades coupon from the magic coupon machine. My deal looks like this: 1 Razor (9.99), 1 pkg blades (15.29), 1 cream (4.99 — or 2 smaller (2.37) ones if you have 2 coupons). Total is just over $30. Use both CVS coupons (-$12), use Free Razor when you buy blades coupon (P&G – $9.99) and use 1 or 2 $1 off shaving cream coupons. Plus get back $4 ECB. Total is as low as $2.03!
I received my Beauty Rewards email!!! Yay! Just in time to get a good deal on the Clear Therapy shampoos. I’ve been wanting to try them.

Wow, the Softsoap is $3.99 at my CVS! Even with BOGO that’s too much.
The last few weeks, the red machine has been spitting out tons of Qs, like 10 to 14! Not all of them are deals, so use wisely. I stacked the $4/$12 from last week with $3 Almay, $2 Rimmel and MQs on 75% off clearance. Paid $1.30 on $13 worth of cosmetics. Regular price would be close to $50. Wow!
My CVS has been giving me issues with using coupons on trial size items when the coupon says “any size.” I had a cashier call her manager over, who then said that unless the coupon said it couldn’t be used on trial size, to honor it. Then he left, and she refused to do it. I handed her a copy of her corporate coupon policy, and she laughed in my face and said “where’d you get that made up?” I snapped it was her coupon policy and she said she would “let me use my coupons this time, but don’t plan on it next time.” This is just a heads up for everyone else!
Jen, You really should call corprate on that cashier. Even if that is what she thought, you ARE the customer and she shouldn’t talk to anyone like that.
