Copious: $5 Off ANY $10 Purchase = Great Deals (New Members Only)
Wow! Currently, Copious, a social marketplace for buying from and selling items to people, is offering up $5 off ANY $10 purchase whenever you go through this link here (valid for new members only). As I’ve mentioned previously, Copious sells new and gently used clothing, accessories, household items, jewelry, and other name-brand items that are listed from sellers at a greatly reduced price.
Keep in mind that some items on Copious may charge additional fees to purchase or may charge a fee for shipping. However, there are quite a few items that do in fact offer FREE shipping with NO extra fees! Just click on the “Explore” drop-down menu at top, click on a category, and then look for the “Free Shipping” and “No Fees” tabs (on left-hand side) for each section that you’re browsing through.
*Be sure to browse around as there are a LOT of items to sift through! And if you don’t spot something you like now, be sure to check back often as sellers are constantly listing new things!
I hope everyone has a good experience with Copious. I had TERRIBLE customer service on my second purchase from them and won’t go back. By the way, steer clear of a seller named Chris Duval. I received a broken necklace from him and he never responded to my emails. With that said, though, I’m sure most sellers are honest and will treat you right.
Hi leah. I’m Jonathan. One of the founders. I’m very sorry you had a bad experience. Our sellers are selling thousands upon thousands of items every month and 99.9% of the experiences are awesome. Can you please email us at help@copious.com so we can try to make your experience with Chris right? We want to help. Thanks.
Thank you, Jonathan. I got emails from your customer service department and from the seller this afternoon, so hopefully he will make it right soon. Thanks for your help!
Excellent news. I’m sure it will all work out. Thanks.
Some of the prices are incredibly inflated! $5 for a bottle of Wet ‘n’ Wild nail polish that would cost $1.50 at Walgreens!?
Hi Amy. Thanks. Curious about this. To clarify though – we don’t set the prices, the sellers do. Most of the news items are way way way below retail and the “previously loved” are often 90%+ off. There are also 1000s of handmade items as well. Thanks!
I understand that. I followed Collin’s lead and searched for items with Free Shipping and No Fee. So most of what I saw in my first quick browse of each of the categories was seriously overpriced (most likedly to off-set the free shipping and no fee). It’s a cool concept, though, and I appreciate the discount. Thank you.
Hopefully, what you see on your homepage is a direct reflection of the things you’re interested in. There are tons of amazing finds. Thanks for the feedback and for giving us a try. Have a great day.
So I’m guessing you can’t sign up unless you have a facebook or twitter account? That kinda stinks….
Hi Whitney. Yes, right now, you need to sign in via Facebook or Twitter. We do that to ensure the experience is personal and social right out of the gate. That said, you are the one who controls what is shared on FB and Twitter and what isn’t. Hopefully, that makes sense. Thanks!
It’s not the fact of controlling what is and isn’t shared on these network sites. I just don’t want a Facebook or Twitter. Sorry you won’t be getting my business….
Fair enough.
ya that stinks. i don’t even bother to look at a website when i have to have an fb or twitter account. and i don’t want a fake fb or twitter either.
Hi. I understand. Although, if done right, you can use Facebook to make the experience very social and more personal out of the gate – without sharing information you wish to keep private. Thanks for the feedback though. We’re listening.
I also noticed that you have to sign up with twitter and facebook. . .Too bad. I’m still keeping those private!! ๐
Hi Jeanette. Yes, as per the above, you log in with Facebook or Twitter. But what you share is complete up to you. You control it at the time of account set up and login. Hopefully, that makes sense.
Thanks!
Jonathan
i signed up via twitter and i rec’d the following message: “To receive credit, you need to have more connections on your social account. Youโre still free to browse, buy, sell and share”. so. i guess that means i did not get the credit.
I got the same message. ๐ Guess I won’t be shopping there! Oh, well, there are plenty of other sites that want my business.
Same happened to me! I signed up on someone’s link on FB and got the same message.
Me too! guess I will not be shopping here. Other sites don’t deny you to shop just because they can’t use your socil network for more targets (shoppers).:(
My last order was cancelled, no explanation…just a receipt saying my money had been refunded
Hi Michelle. Hmmm, that’s not good .We had nearly 1000 other readers on this blog have a successful purchase. Perhaps you can send an inquiry to help@copious.com. We’d be happy to have a look. Thanks for your patience.
it was over a month ago, do you think they would even have my order on file still?
Hi. We’ll have a record of it for sure. We can track down the seller and find out what went wrong. I will let our customer service team know that your inquiry is coming. Thanks!
also, thank you Collin for all the work you do letting us know about the great deals
available. i would never find any of them with out you!
