Me too. I am on discussion boards through Dave Ramsey. There was a topic in the past that was about how your razor got dull. They swear it’s because it stays wet. So the deal was to completely dry the razor after use. Either put in well ventilated place, or to stick in plastic glass with rice in it.
Alot of comments were that it really was true and that some had been on the same razor for 3 months. What have we got to lose? Give it a try.

His key was to always dry off the blade completely-he uses the SAME disposable razor for months and months! No kidding!
I’ve been using the same Schick Disposable(ones in yellow bags we got free at WM) for months now on my legs @ still going strong!
And it only takes about 30 seconds to do a good job drying it with your towel.
I never intentionally dry my razor off but my blades always last for at least 6-9 months but usually more. In fact, I usually replace it simply because I feel ridiculous keeping a supposedly disposable blade on that long. My legs are always silky smooth and no nicks so they must still be in good shape despite being that old. I haven’t bought a pack of refills in years. Maybe the blade drains well and naturally dries out each time. I do keep it upright in a holder that is suction-cupped to the wall…
