My husband just picked up ours, he had to talk to a CS to look in the back and got the last one. One of the managers came up when he was checking out and said that he wanted that one. My husband wisely told him that ,”You will have to take that up with my wife.” My hubby is SO smart!!

I called 1888 best buy but the lady wouldnt price match it so I decided to call the store and ask them to place an order through the phone and she said she would have to ask the manager about the price but the manager said yes and i got it shipped to my house for free for the same price !
The store I called won’t do a phone order they said I had to come in and it’s a 45 min drive.

Thank you SO much for posting this! We saw it late last night and checked our West Chicago suburb stores and found a few. My husband went this morning right when it opened and got the last one! The one off of Butterfield Rd in Downers Grove/Oak Brook area. They said it was last one but who knows. When we looked online late last night the Bolingbrook one still had some in stock too. Worth checking out bc it looks great! I hope you find one!

When I called Best Buy this morning to check on availabilty the girl couldn’t see that it was $20.99 on the clearance section…now that I’ve gone back it seems it was removed 🙁 and now im seeing it for $139.99 🙁 bummer!!!
If you show them that its $20.99 clearance at ANY store, they have to price match!!!
Well i told the girl i talked to and she said they didn’t price match clearance items 🙁 but its ok … just called another store that had them for $20.99 and they are shipping it to me and for free!!!! 😀

Exactly what happened to me, girl thought I was crazy when I said $20.99 but when I showed her from another stores website they gave me the last one in the store!
I got mine this morning…. the guys didn’t believe me, looked it up online and found they had several in the back. You know the funny thing was is they were looking at me like I was getting away with something!! They wanted to know how I knew it was there… I told them it was my secret! Midwest City, Oklahoma !!!! A store nearby me in Richmond, VA is showing they have them but for $66.99, can anyone tell me how to get them to price match? I’ve been trying to find a store online that shows it for the $20.99 but can’t seem to find one to take a picture of to show them at the store. If someone could help I would appreciate it, thanks!
why dont you try calling the store that has it for 20.99 and ask them to ship it to you? they ship for free.

I got mine first thing this morning, it was on clearance for $40 and I told them it’s 20.99, well I had to show her manually on her computer and then they even adjusted the price to $15 because it was the last one and an open box (which wasn’t really just returned because whoever bought it didn’t like the color) plus I had a $5 reward so spent $10.68 total with tax…..so proud of myself!!!

For anybody that has had success with a phone order please suggest the store you purchased from. I have called four stores that show the clearance price online and they all said they cannot do phone orders, they will only order if you are there in person. None of my local stores have the clearance price so I am calling out of state. So if anybody has a store they had success placing a phone order with please share what city and state. This would be a perfect housewarming gift. Thanks in advance for any help! 🙂
After reading your post this morning, I e-mailed my Hubby at work & he said go for it if I could find it. Presently he’s putting all our (many) movies on the computer as a library, so this would be a cool way to store the DVD’s & Blu-rays as backup. I live in Enfield, CT and I saw that it was available in Holyoke, MA at the mall. I was so relieved that they had it, after I sat in construction traffic for a half hour on I-91!!
When I showed the young fellow that was waiting on me the picture & model #, he pulled it up on the computer. Immediately he & another associate were shocked at the price -they didn’t even know it was on sale, let alone so inexpensive. They had 2 in stock & I got one – phew! When I left they were “arguing” over who was going to get the one that was left.

called almost all best buys in los angeles, called their toll free number as well, they won’t price match=(
i had to call the san bernardino store and they let me order it over the phone.
Called the best buy toll free again, they said that they don’t price match prices of Best Buy stores if the store that carries the product has it marked as clearance. They said that Best Buy stores are also not supposed to price match other Best Buys stores’ clearance price. Oh well. Sigh. That’s fine. I just realized I don’t have a car to haul this cabinet, anyway. LOL.
I made it to the store this morning at 9:40 am. Spoke with the sales women and showed her on my phone the sale. She looked the item up and said they had only two in stock. She went to the back to get me one only to come back and tell me they were both sold at 9am by a lady that was at the store when it opened 🙁 The clerk smiled and said no worry I can order it for you. She even said they could ship it to my home for free! So i paid the $20.99 and got a confirmation email that it is being shipped. 🙂 yay!

I went into my best buy in Florida, and showed them the SKU number. They did not have any in stock, but are shipping to my house for free, came to $22 and some change. I asked if I could have just called instead of coming in and they said no, because if we order by phone, they just order it online, and since it is not available on line, you must go in store. But as long as you are able to get to the store, they should be able to order it for you at this price as long as they don’t close it out. Hope this helps! Thank you Collin!
Does it have to be a store which offers this storage cabinet under their clearance section online? I was told by a manager at one store that even if I go to their location, they can’t price adjust because their specific store does not offer the storage cabinet on that clearance price=(
yes that was the problem I had. The store that still had then in stock is over an hour away from my house and they are going to ship them to my local store that sold out 30 mins before I called to see if the were still in stock.
My store did not have any listed on their site. I just took the SKU number and they entered it in the computer at customer service, and I gave them my address and paid and they shipped it to my house free. They didn’t even ask if I saw it online or anything, just looked it up and let me buy it.
Ok I called 1888-best-buy and talked to Keith and explained everything that was posted about price matching and he said it was for in-store clearance only, but if a store that had them could ship them to a store near me I could get it for the price my store sold them for. OK I’ve been on the phone for over 2 hrs and I finally was able to get 2 for 22.99 sent to my local store. All I have to say is Jason at store 261 is the nicest manager there is at Best buy. He talked to me about 6 times and did every thing in his power to have them shipped to my local store and get them at my store’s discounted price. That was not and easy task. I called the store and the guy in the warehouse who didn’t understand what Jason was asking. Once again I had to call and talk to the manager at my store and explain the situation. I call Jason back and explain what the warehouse guy told me and then call Jason back several more times because the warehouse guy who wouldn’t give his name was rude to Jason and I had to talk to several people at my store and explain what Jason was asking about and asked how he needed to ship it to them. Jason said the he would do what ever it took to make sure I got the Init™ – Media Storage Cabinet – Espresso for the 22.99 price. His store had the for 61.99 Fingers Crossed and they will be at my store next week. Glo
Yay! Thanks to everyone’s comments I was able to get a couple! Called our store to see if they had any in stock. They didn’t but the awesome woman at customer service said she could order them for the price it was showing ($20.99), but I had to go to the store to do it. My husband headed over there and was able to pay for two to be sent to the store (free shipping to the store).
I just called, and they said that they had no more in the warehouse, so sounds like they are officially out, unless they have some in your local store. Just thought I’d save someone a phone call.

I’m in Texas….called the two Best Buys near me and they were out of stock….the second Best Buy I called told me they had one in stock at the Woodlands….I called them and they held one for me. It was priced at $20.99 and I had a $15 Reward Certificate so I only paid $5.99 +tax!!! ($6.84 total) The guy that helped me was amazed at the price and was going to try to get one for his friend who just moved in to a new house and has an extensive movie collection!!!! On my gosh, really!? I wanted that one, lol! It was in stock but was gone when I called. I had to go there to pick up the three Tera games I ordered from their online daily deal from a few days ago and the Woodlands was the only store that had some in stock. It’s ok though because my local store near NW fwy ordered 4 of the dvd cabinets for me.
I live in North Austin area and the BB that had any were way down south. They were priced on my phone as 22.99. The lady at the BB up here was nice and said she can just order one for me with free shipping over the phone, so I got 2. Was in a lot of need of a book case , so using them for that!

So my Best Buy ordered me one at the 20.99, with the free shipping. I was so excited to get one!!! Then this morning I got an email saying it was unavailable and would ship in 7 to 30 days. Now I sorta feel like I will get an email saying they are cancelling my order. 🙁
Did anyone else get a confirmation email today saying that it’s not in stock and coit uld take up to 30 days to get it in? I just hope they won’t cancel it all together because there were too many orders.
