Magazines.com: Request a FREE $10 Check?!
Yeah! It seems that Magazines.com is at it yet again! Although I was not personally the recipient of one of these emails today (darn!), reader, Joanne, just emailed me about the fact that she received an email with another unique $10 code, which means another opportunity to request a FREE $10 check in the mail. WooHoo!
If you are signed up to receive Magazines.com emails, then you may have gotten this same email… an email that you may have trashed thinking it was junk. So search this email address service@email.magazines.com to see if any emails pop up. Make sure to look in your trash and spam. The subject line of the email is “$10 Cyber Monday Gift – 1 DAY ONLY“.
Basically the email will provide you with a unique gift card code to score a $10 discount on your purchases! Even sweeter, in the fine print at the bottom of the email it states “Your promotional code has cash value”.
This means that you can actually request a check in the mail! Just head on over here, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and fill out the form with your mailing info and exclusive gift card number. A $10 check will be mailed to the address you provide within 4-6 weeks.

I can never figure out where to sign up for future emails so I dont miss this deal in the future. I always look every time theres a post and cant figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

aww rats, my email says Christmas in July but doesnt offer the $10.00 gift card
I got an e-mail today, but it just said Christmas in July Deals…no “gift.” I wonder why some people get them and others don’t. I have been signed up with them for a long time and have only had one of the $5 check offers that Collin has posted. I’m not trying to complain, I’m just curious why.
I read the fine print on this once, and it said that you can only request one check per year (you will notice no one ever mentions they got more than one check)
LOL, thank goodness I used those $5 codes for magazines b/c I redeemed a $10 code last month. I always wondered if they limited the redemption of the codes. Thanks for pointing out the fine print!

Be very careful with magazines.com. I signed up for a subscription a couple years ago. I didn’t see any indication of auto renewal, but it did auto renew at full price the next year. But it’s a magazine that never has discounts anyway so whatever. It renewed this year again in january, for the same price as the previous 12 month subscriptions. Only they tried to charge me again this week. Turns out they had arbitrarily decided to charge a 6 month subscription at the same rate as a full year. I’ll certain take any free $10 checks they want to send me. But I absolutely will never buy anything from them again. I had even removed my billing information from the site. Yet they kept it on file anyway.
