Giveaway: 10 Readers Each Win AgainBags Prize Package (Reusable Sandwich/Snacks Bags!)
If you have school-aged kiddos and regularly pack lunches (or if you pack your own lunches to take to work or school!), then you likely spend lots of money on plastic baggies. Besides the fact that these bags add up to big costs, they can also add up to a huge amount of waste in landfills. For this reason, AgainBags.com was created. Again Bags are just that… reusable sandwich and snack bags that are functional, stylish and can be used again and again and again.
To clean your AgainBags, just use a damp cloth and wipe clean. Occasionally, toss in the washing machine and drip dry, or turn inside-out and place on the top shelf of your dishwasher.
If you are interested in making a purchase over at AgainBags.com, be sure to use the promo code Wrap25 at checkout to save 25% off your entire purchase (expires 9/30/12).
Thanks to AgainBags.com, 10 lucky Hip2Save readers will each win an AgainBags Prize Package (a $28+ value!) consisting of the following items…
* Active wrap
* Large active bag
* 2 small active bags
* Note that color of sets will be based on availability

They look pretty, but the thought of putting food in there and using it over and over again is just not appealing. I know you can wipe them off, but, still, just ewwww. I think the baggie companies have done a great job of making me think unless it is clean and new, it is not sanitary.
Hi…This is Jenn from Againbags.com.
You can also put our bags in the dish washer in the sanitize cycle and they can also be washed in the laundry. They wash up as well if not better then a cloth napkin.
Thank you for entering and good luck. ~Jenn
Thanks for the reply! They look really cute! Being able to wash them in the dishwasher is a great idea! Easy to do the same night and ready in the morning.
No problem:-)….Best of luck to you and Thanks again ~Jenn
An Active Bag 2 set!

I hope I win! I have been wanting to try these out!
Karen, Thanks so much for entering and good luck! ~Jenn from Againbags
I would love to win these bags. They look wonderful!!
Thank you Heather and good luck! ~Jenn from Againbags
I hate tossing things in the garbage, but I agree about reusing them for food. My daughter takes very smelly things such as tuna fish and hard boiled eggs because she has a special diet due to celiacs. I wouldn’t want to place those items in a non disposable bag.
Seems like great customer response though, so for PBJ’s it’s probably a great thing to try.
Hi Tilla Jenn from Againbags. Thanks, We are a family run business and started because I was tired of seeing all those plastic bags go in the garbage.
With that in mind, I have taken great care to make a product that my kids and anyone would be happy to carry. We have done extensive testing of eggs, tuna and liverwurst (my 7year olds favorite) and find that as the bags and wrap do come home pretty stinky they wash up fantastic and don’t retain any unpleasing odor.
As I mention in the previous post they wash up better then a restaurant cloth napkin.
Best of luck to you in the drawing and thank you for entering. ~Jenn
Colin-
I accidently entered my zip code as 430854 instead of 43085, I was in a hurry!
Sorry,
Maria
Maria, Thanks for entering and good luck! ~Jenn from againbags.
These look awesome! I hope I win. We use cloth diapers and there’s no reason these food wrappers shouldn’t clean up as well as diapers! It amazes my hubby & me how close-minded people tend to be about reusable items thinking that polluting our planet is somehow healthier than washing thoroughly & reusing items. The stuff in landfills doesn’t just disappear, does it? 😉
Thanks Rebecca that is very nice of you. Best of luck to you in the drawing. ~Jenn from Againbags
You should try Luau Wraps, they are my favorite!
BPA-free? Phalate-free?
Hi Delaina, Yes, they are BPA, lead and phthalate free. They are also hand made in the USA. Thanks & Good Luck! ~Jenn from againbags
I have an autistic son who has an issue with plastic. He really hates plastic baggies and containers. We use some cloth reusable bags, but they come home soggy sometimes. Do these bags get this way? I am really wanting to try these. I saw on the website that they come in green. I can never find reusable bags in green.
I should have added that they get soggy from the icepack sweating or his drink sweating.
The ice pack or sweating drinks won’t effect the bags…I have also put ice packs in the our bags to keep the sweating in so the cotton napkin stays dry. ~Jenn
Hi Jenn, Both lines keep the wetness in the bag. The “active” line is 2ply nylon so it really heavy duty and he would probably like the feel of this bag over the patterned. It has more of a textured feel as the patterned bags are more slick. Hope this helps.
Thanks for entering and good luck. ~Jenn from Againbags
That is awesome to know. Thanks for the quick response! He is definately very handsy, so thanks for commenting on the texture. It is very helpful.
Thanks you and your welcome…. ~Jenn
Are the patterned ones PUL like cloth diaper covers & products?
Hi Rebecca,
They are 100% cotton polyurethane laminate. I’m not sure if diaper covers are cotton, I think they are polyester knit. Hope this helps ~Jenn
Thanks. That’s great to know they’re PUL, too. 🙂
I have tried these and PUL is not food safe. Google it, you will be suprised. Try Luau Wraps. They are organic cotton and you can use code KIWIMAGAZINE for 15% off. Free shipping on orders of $50 or more.
Hi – this is Jenn from againbags.com…just to let you know, all of our fabrics are tested and are lead, BPA and phthalate free. I don’t believe this is the same fabric used for diaper covers.
These look more durable than cotton cloth baggies!
Hi Shannon, thank you & best of luck to you. ~Jenn from againbags
I would love to never use baggies ever again! These look so amazing! I hope I win so I can try them out 🙂
