Jingit: Get Paid to Watch Online Ads, Shop + More (+ Hip2Savers Personal Experiences w/ Jingit!)
I posted about Jingit back in April of this year and thought that it was a great time to mention it again! For those of you unfamiliar with this program, Jingit allows you to earn real cash in return for watching ads online, for checking in and shopping for select products at your favorite stores and even for giving your feedback to leading brands by taking brief surveys.
And Jingit has partnered up with some great brands like Kraft, Elmer’s and Walmart. In fact, you can currently head on over here, click on the “Earn Now” button and then sign in via your Facebook account to start earning cash with Jingit right away. Once you are signed in, just watch the short video about Elmer’s Glue and complete the Back to School survey (it should automatically pop up after the video ends) to start building up your Jingit balance.
Note that in order to sign up for Jingit, you’ll need to log in via Facebook (yes, you must have a Facebook account). You will also be required to have a mobile phone with text messaging (this is required to confirm that each Jingit account is indeed a unique person).
When you join Jingit, you start out with a $5 weekly earn limit. When you post Jingit to your Facebook wall or invite friends, your earn limit will increase $0.25 for every friend that joins Jingit through your wall post or invite. You will be credited once friends complete the sign up process and you can increase your weekly earn limit up to $10. Also note that any time you see an ad with the Jingit logo online, click on it and that ad pays you! Awesome! 😀
Keep in mind that you can only use your Jingit earnings to buy music at music.me or you can opt to get a Jingit Visa Debit Card and add the cash from your Jingit account to the card (Note that you will need to use Jingit earned cash to pay the $2 fee, so be sure to accumulate at least $2 in your account before you apply for the card). After you apply for your Jingit Visa Debit Card, your card will be mailed to you within 3 weeks.

I have done this since they first started and make around $40 a month, which I use for gas for getting back and forth to work. It really is easy, and fun too. You can’t get rich doing Jingit, but you can earn a little extra cash.

I signed up awhile back & recently noticed they were having chances to earn again. I went to Wal-Mart today did my check-ins & a $50 check-in popped up! So I got $53 just for going shopping! Sweeet!
I’ve been doing this for a few months now and love it. It was down for a bit but it’s back and so much better. Remember you can also looks for their ads on Walmart.com and make more money. You can make up to $15 and you don’t need to worry about giving your social because the debit is through us bank.

I signd up in April to. I have a tablet and I can never get the checkins to work when I am at walmart. Dose anyone elts have that problume? But other wise I love it!

I can’t get it to work at Walmart either. It shows Walmarts too far away to check in…even though I’m standing in their aisles! I haven’t had very many commercials to watch either. The idea sounds great but I haven’t had many opportunities with it.
Is the text messaging requirement for anything other than signing up? Do you have to send/receive texts as part of the program? Thanks!
No there is no text messaging.
Only the one time for the code, I have never recieved another message from them. Forgot about that part.

I am pretty sure you have to use facebook, sorry. You might be able to use Twitter, but I dont know.

I have over $40.00 on my card and I have been using Jingit for 6 months. It is so worth doing for extra cash if you can get it to work.
They even have new at home check ins, where you can scan products and make money from home!
How do you do the at home check ins?
You check in will say at home unstead of giving the store address. I think you have to scan in the store first and then in a couple of days the at home check ins will pop up.
As an FYI the android app is screwed up right now with the at home check ins. They told me they are trying to fix the issue.
I love this site! It’s slow at times and you won’t make your limit, but they just launched a new program where you earn money and boxtops for the school of your choosing.

I was so excited to sign up for Jingit. I watched all the ads on the site no problem, but I was disappointed when I found out that the downloadable app for check ins is not compatible with my smart phone. Bummer!
We just have a plain (old-fashioned) cell phone and would have to add the text messaging. Does one have to keep the messaging service in order to participate?

They only send you a text message once. You have to scan the product from an app on your phone. It is a one time $2.00 fee that comes out of your jingit money, so you can’t get the card until you get $2.00 on your Jingit account.
If Collin gets the credit for referrals, I suggest using her link.
You max out at $15.00, so it will go to waste after that she wont get anymore. If she isn’t already maxed out you should use her link first.

You might have your age set up incorrectly on FB you need it to be correct, that could be what is giving you the error message.

My husband only uses Jingit on the computer (he doesn’t have the app on his smartphone). He doesn’t get $ for scanning items in Walmart, only from the online Walmart ads. If you do a google search on “Jingit ads online” or something similar you will find a couple of websites that have direct links to the Jingit ads. In other words, you can go directly to the ads (on the computer) and earn $ without having to hunt for the ads on the Walmart website. Pretty cool.
He’s earned $30 in less than 2 months. Sweet!

I have been using Jingit since April when Collin posted about it. There was a lull this summer where I barely made anything (all the check-ins stopped and I think I watched one video for 10 cents) but in the past three weeks they have started becoming a bit more active. In all, I think I have made around $40 by watching videos and completing check-ins.
For those having issues at Walmart, try to GPS yourself with Google Maps or another location app. This helped Jingit find me when I arrived at the store, otherwise it would never verify that I was actually at the store, even if I was standing right next to the product.
I call the Jingit card my “couponing card” and use it to pay the difference for couponed items. So, even with tax Jingit makes it “free.” 🙂

how do you “GPS” yourself?? I went to Walmart and it didn’t recognize me being there. So frustrating.
When you find directions to a place from your current location, the GPS on the maps has to find where you are so it can direct you somewhere. I suggest looking up directions to somewhere and select “current location” as your starting point. That way your phone, and thus Jingit, knows you are by WalMart. I also suggest doing this before entering the store. I have had issues with my phone’s reception when I step through the doors. The parking lot works best for me. 🙂

Did anyone else have trouble signing up? I signed in using facebook, entered my email and hit confirm. I have yet to receive a text message. I tried several times. I even tried signing out and then signing back in. When I tried signing back in I received an error message. I wonder if the site might be down.

No Christy, unfortunately once you have joined you can no longer give others credit. On the Jingit page, top left hand side, you will see “Increase your Earn Limits when your friends join Jingit! You can add your link to Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest. Once you’ve shared it, go to the link you posted… such as on your Facebook page… click the link yourself… it will open up a Jingit page and you will be able to copy and paste your referral id from the web browser…. such as: https://www.jingit.com/home/?ref_id=11967&s=f Good luck!
