Actually, I disagree about these making great baby shower gifts. Pregnant mothers are often VERY sensitive to smell – and not just in the 1st trimester. Although a mom might fake this being a great gift, it might also be making her nauseous and/or giving her a headache. 🙁
When I’m pregnant, I can’t handle anything, even the faintest hint of lotion on someone across the room. This is throughout pregnancy and through postpartum. I’m not the only one, either.
I will admit I was one that was sensitive while pregnant and still get headaches on anything flowery but the stuff animal itself is adorable. I am a stuffed animal snob since you can accumulate a lot over the years with kiddos but I okay’d the grandparents to get each kid one of these. Worse case scenario, you don’t put in the scent. Still a very cute stuffed animal =)
