my stores had signs saying you could do lawaway with the clearance items…
My kmart in NY lets you put them on layaway. I just did today!
I got lots of great deals there yesterday too! They had the 12 volt Barbie Jammin Jeep Wrangler for $144! It’s $249 at Walmart & $279 at Target.
I’ve been looking a great ride-on for some time and checked with my kmart a few minutes ago and the barbie jeep was $299.99 🙁
No you cannot put the clearance toys on layaway…
Layaway policies vary at each store. the closest one to me, i can put all clearance but seasonal on layaway. the next closest wont allow any clearance on layaway. im sure there is nothing preventing (beeps or scanning issues) clearance from being put on layaway but the cashier.
yesterday they offered to rewards members a extra 30% coupon… it was only good over the weekend i went to three kmarts and cleaned up!!!!! im totally done christmas shopping for my 1 year son now im waiting to black friday for my 6 year old

The coupon says “Available only at Walmart” in the lower right corner. What does that mean, exactly? Has anyone tried using it a Kmart?
I was just coming on to tell Collin about this. I got the Nerf Super Soakers originally priced at $24.99 for $3 and a huge Disney Yard Ball originally priced at $11.99 for $2.25. My store in Hyannis, MA didn’t have a lot of items but worth checking out.

I work at Kmart, and it’s not the cashier that stops clearance from going in layaway, but the store manager. The store I work at actually didn’t let clearance go on layaway until about 3 months ago. Our manager had to go in the system and change the settings. Anyways, when I got off from work yesterday, I got a Vtech Innotab and a Vtech Mobigo for $63, plus got awarded $5 in SYWR points to use next week! There were lots of good deals yesterday. You just have to look for them 🙂

I got the Vtech Innotab in a bundle for $79 at Sam’s Club. It includes a car charger, protective case, and a game cartridge. It also has $60 in pre-loaded apps, but, I don’t know if that’s unique to the bundle or not.

check online I had to order the toy my son wanted for this birthday from their site and got a great deal. He wanted an imaginext Robot I got it for 7.50 usually almost $20 and found a Dino set with DVD for $9.50 marked down form $25.99. I signed up for discounted shipping. I got 2 of each Imaginext toys for 35.96 with tax. ( I got to use the Birthday $5 coupon on top of the mark downs ).
Too bad my K-mart looks nothing like those pics. Mine is very disorganized/messy/chaotic and nothing is priced right. I have found great deals there recently but it’s a pit of a store.
Same with mine!! It is soooo empty that is is actually scary to walk around in!! There was maybe 10 people in the whole store!! This was about 2yrs ago and I have not been back since!!

Look up kmart layaway policy and take with you..YES YOU CAN PUT CLERANCE ON LAYAWAY!! It is not eligible for a price adjustment so if it goes on clerance cheaper than you can’t get the price adjusted. I called both of my kmarts before looking up policy one said yes and one said no.. so i’m taking the policy with me!
I just got an email stating for my rewards I get an extra $5 off, just use my SYW pin.
I just went to Kmart in the Knoxville, TN area. There are LOTS of stuff in clearance. I got Moon Dough for $3 each. They retail for $10.99-$12.99! There were also lots of board games that ranged from $4-$10 such as BopIt, Guess Who, Etc. I also saw the Leapster 2 Games for $5-$7!!! Those usually retail for $14.99 or more.

I’m in bristol! our store was pretty picked over, but I found a few things.
If you’re looking through their online toy clearance, make sure you browse the whole section b/c under beauty clearance, there are 3 pack dial soaps for 90 cents. If you’re getting free shipping or picking up in store, that sounds like a good deal to me. There are 10 or 12 things in fragrance clearance too. Teenage girls love trying new perfumes!

Both the kmarts near me will not let clearance go on lay away. I got the Diego back pack for $10, monster high 350 sticker activity book for $5, the baby alive was $11 after the $5 coupon made it $6, plus much more! When we paid they also gave me a $5 gift card
I was so excited about this deal, put my 2 year old in the car and went to kmart…….just to find that it went of of business. Go figures!! 😛

I would see why the wouldn’t allow clearance on layaway. Not everyone is responsible and picks up their layaway. Clearance is meant to move merchandise and get rid of items to put others. In my opinion, make the money now from someone who has it to spend it’s on their mind and I think also the reason why black friday deals are not allowed on layaway either.
I would take the policy that you can print online off..it states that you can put it on layaway!

I just purchased Barbie DJ turntable-$11.00 (regular $29), Cuponk-$5.00 & Barbie mini pets $3.00 (regular $11.50). There was a fisher-price loving family grand dollhouse for $72 with 50% off would be only $36! If I knew someone with a year old daughter, I would have snatched it up!

Got my husband some shorts for 2.99 nice plaid and cargo style ones…was very excited about the other deals were just icing after that…Got my son an icee maker for $12 refills for $2 and the drink mixes for $1.50 each and also a picture gram thing that I have been looking for …for school for only $4…normally $20 ….Thank you so much for the heads up Collin!
Be sure to walk around the toy section, as there is clearance scattered around. My store also had an additional 50 off clearance shoes, also scattered around. Actually, there was a lot of clearance all over the entire store.

I got the fisher price dollhouse ($36), lalaloopsy bus ($7), tinkerbell dress up shoes ($4), lalaloopsy backpack ($3), strawberry shortcake mini doll($2), blendy pens ($2), some mini razor scooter and skateboard tech deck kinda thing for stocking stuffers (99 cents ea)…I also saw a few different barbies for $10ish, a huge strawberry shortcake house $15, teacup babies $1.75-$7.50 sets, lots of princess/tinkerbell toys, lots of infant toys…I might go back tomorrow!

Well this isn’t about the toys but I went and got some candy for Halloween, the bags that have the snack size/fun size in them are on sale for $2.99 a bag and if you buy 4 and are a rewards member you get $4 instantly off. Plus if you have coupons for the $1.50 off 3, it makes for a sweeter deal.

Used 4 Coupons -$6.00
Spent only $17.88 for 12 bags of candy which is $1.49 a bag.

Check the Happy Nappers! There was no clearance tag but the little white sticker on the box said $9.99 now $7.00. Price checked it and came up $3.50!
