Can you price match this at Target?
i was able to price match the $1 memory toy story game on sunday @ target.
Awesome! Do you have to bring the ad?
I have a question. I still have 2 $5 off coupon from last year that will be valid for Monopoly, etc. Can I buy two of the participating games and then use my two $5/1 coupons and get the rebate? I plan on donating them like I did last year, but just found out I was pregnant 🙂 and $5 is $5 that can go to baby stuff!!! TIA!
congrats 🙂
Thank you very much! It’s our first 🙂
They wouldn’t let me use any manufacturer’s coupons. Bummer! It was still a good deal though. I bought two Jengas, two Chutes and Ladders, one Life, one Catchphrase for $55. Used a $5 off of $35 coupon and got back one $15 and will submit for a $15 rebate. So, I paid $20 for all those games. I was happy.
Another awesome deal is the Doodle Bears for $9.99 each at TRU this week. I price-matched them at Walmart yesterday – there were $21.XX there. SWEET DEAL!
Thank you for this tip! My daughter has been wanting one of these for about a year now:)
Just found this deal going on at ToysRUs also…seems like an amazing deal for anyone shopping for little ones!!

Awesome! Thank you!!
Does anyone know if you can price match at Target or Walmart for a different version of the $1 Memory games? I have not seen the Toy Story 3 game at any stores in my area.
Was not allowed to do this at Walmart in Teaticket, MA. The manager was very rude and said it was too much of a price difference. I really despise this Walmart. Was also told I was the only customer they ever had to try and price match? huh?
It’s time for you to call Walmart corp!
How rude! I have done lots of price matching at my local Walmart without any problems.
The price match should only be for the toy story edition.
Mine in Kingstowne VA let me as they didn’t have the toy story 3 version. I even asked and showed them the ad and they were fine. Let me buy 3 too…2 cars and a princess one
Will the gift card be mailed out with my order if i order online? Thanks!
No. The way I understand it, the gift card is in store only. HTh.
Thank you!
Don’t forget the free ‘game tote’ with any Hasbro board game purchase of $20 or more (advertised in the “Great Big ToysRUs Book” found by customer service, at mine). The freebie does not mess up the giftcard deals. Customer service at my store said they did not have the totes and gave me a substitution (I think they gave me the wrong substitution, but I got the game Kerplunk for free!)
the game tote is a bag with the scrabble all over it… it is red. It is a tote like a canvas bag not an actual tote, like a bucket 🙂
@ Dawn I would think its a ymmv depending on your Target & Walmart stores and how friendly they are. I have heard a few people price matching other versions of the Memory game. I haven’t tried it myself because I found the Toy Story version but it wouldn’t hurt to try I would think.
Thanks! I guess it can’t hurt to try 🙂
I was able to price match at my local Walmart to get the Toy Story memory game for a $1.00. They didn’t give me any trouble.
4 x Monopoly $5 = $20
2 x Operation $10 = $20
2 x Jenga $10 = $20
– $4 in Jenga coupons (2 x $2)
Total $56 and 8 games purchased.
Toys R Us gift card $15 for going over $50 and $20 rebate for buying 8 games.
Total cost minus tax is $56 – $15 – $20 = $21!
the monoply does not count for the rebate
I was wondering that? Is the $5 Monopoly the correct skew? Did you check?
I called my Toys R Us and they checked the floor. The $5 Monopoly does the have the #0009 skew and is included. I’m going tonight. Max of 4 games of the same type on the rebate, but that’s an awesome deal.
are you guys referring to the championship monopoly as there seems to be various different ones listed above?
Maybe different stores are selling different ones, but the computer system has that item # cross referenced to the #00009 skew shown on the rebate. AND it is on sale for $5, the championship one. I’m attaching the print out from TRU with my rebate.
On page 3 of the ad, there is a $10 free gift card promo with a purchase of $75 or more. Can that be applied to the same transaction as the TRU Hasbro gift card promo?
It worked for me tonight. Both promotions were granted on a single transaction.
Just a heads up that the sesame street duck game is obnoxious!! : ) this one went to live at Grandmas house.
Ha! Was just coming to post about that game. It is annoying even in the box! Every time you bump the top of the box, it turns it on! I defy anyone to try and put the pieces in the box without turning the game on multiple times! Good luck getting them all in there, too.
I bought
1 – twister dance ( great price) $20.00
2- memory toy story games $2.00
1- monopoly $5.00
1- candy-land $5.00
1- cranium $5.00 total 37.00 but
I got a scrabble tote bag = free
10.00 gift card
and I hope to get money back with the rebate form.
I was thrilled because I was off to buy twister dance for $35.00 today and I got so much more after reading your deals…THANK YOU!!
Can anyone confirm if the $5 Monopoly is the correct skew for the rebate? #00009 according to the rebate.
I have confirmed, it is the correct skew for the rebate. At least at my store in ATL.
If you are referring to monopoly on sale for $5 that one is not included in the rebate. I called hasbro yesterday to find out and they said only the traditional monopoly was for the rebate. Not any limited edition ones.
I had TRU on my list for shopping yesterday. My first stop was Walgreens, as they opened first. I was shocked, and very excited to find JENGA on sale for just $3.99. I snagged up two, ran to my car for my TRU ad with 2 $2/1 coupon and was able to buy JENGA for just $2 each! Yay! Happy Day for me and one store crossed off my list.
That price was at Walgreen’s or TRU? It’s only 6:30 here so I’m a bit confused this morning. Tia. My Walgreen’s and TRU are accros the street from one another.
thanks great deals. none on sale online
Also, I received an email from House Party with a link to download a $3 coupon for Hasbro games such as Monopoly, Connect 4, Twister or Hungry Hungry Hippos games.
thanks for the reminder tip… i’d forgotten i got the hasbro email with coupon
I went last night and was able to pick up:
2 Toy Story 3 Memory $2 (they still had them!)
3 Monopoly Championship $15
4 Jenga $40
1 Scrabble Tote Bag $0
-3 $5/1 Hasbro Game coupons (good on the Monopoly Championship)
-4 $2/1 Jenga coupons
= $34 + tax ($2.04)
-$15 TRU Gift Card
– $10 Hasbro Rebate (for buying 4 Jenga)
= $11 for 9 games and a tote bag
THANK YOU!!
If I have multiple Jenga coupons – can I do the following:
buy 5 Jenga games for $50 use 5/$2 coupons for -$10, get back a $15 gift card. Take the $15 gift card and put towards another 5 Jenga games, using another five $2 off coupons and earing another $15 gift card. Using that $15 gift card to purchase another 2 games to qualify for the full $40 rebate. Any advise would be helpful. I am hoping to achieve as many as possible for my church outreach – we have a lot of need and very little resource this year.
Sounds like this would work fine. You can probably get couple totes as well. Can get $5 games for last two even but keep in mind can’t do it all in same trip as the gift card they give you is not active until after 6 hrs.
Hope you haven’t bought it yet.. I wanted to let you know that the rebate says you can only have 4 of the same game on each rebate. It’s in the fine print.
Anyone having a hard time with the online rebate form? It asks what product but has all baby toys as the options, not games.
