if you’re signed up for emails, they’ve been coming the day before the ad is good, so you can plan accordingly. There’s been daily deal e-mails that come out the day before, again, so you can plan accordingly.

I was just at te mall of ga location and they had about 10 they were on a very high shelf and I actually had to ask somebody where they were!
Is this the one across the street from mall of georgia on back street or in mall. I was at both right around 10 am and they had none checked in computer and mall one never had any. Really wanted these for toy drive. Thanks.

Just got back from my local store in Ohio with 2! They had a makeshift sign that said 1 per family but I still bought two with no problem! I’ll probably donate one. 🙂
I was there 15 min after they opened and they were already sold out. The cashier said the store only got 26 in for this sale. I hate it when stores advertise sales that are impossible to get.

Just went to my store and saw a lady buying 4. I asked the cashier it they knew where I could find the game and she advised me that they were all out. Funny thing is that as I was walking up I overheard the cashier telling the woman that there was a limit of 2 yet she still sold her the four. I asked if there was a limit and the cashier said yes but she could sell them in two different transactions. I then asked to speak to the manager. There was a girl behind the lady who purchased the 4 who was trying to by 1 that she had in her hand. That girl happened too work there. When she overheard me asking for the manager she set her game behind the counter and went to look for more. She returned with nothing. By the time the manager arrived the lady who purchased 4 games was gone. Funny thing though when the manager got there he said if there was none left in stock he would have the lady who bought 4 bring back two. I thought to myself how whould that even happen, she is long gone. Low and behold I turn and see her walking back into the store. That lady worked there too. How can they do that and the manager was ok with it. In the end the manager found 5 more in the store so I did get my 2. I am sure they wouldn’t let me do another transaction and get 2 more yet they let there worker buy for. That is why they are all gone for those costumers who come in. Not good. If they buy 2, fine but not 4 when the limit is 2.

Ya I called my store in Layton Utah and they were all out and said no rainchecks because its a discontinued item. But Salsam7’s story makes me wonder if all the employees just bought them all this morning.
What is Walmart & Target’s policy for price matching this? I often catch heck when they say it’s a ‘door buster’ price and won’t match it?!
Walmart is supposed to be by word of mouth, no ad needed, but I try to bring the ad, to be honest. My friend said a lady was was price matching Walmart’s Great Value milk to a cheaper price….duh that’s only at Walmart, so somebody was cheating Walmart with the verbally price match.
I price match milk all the time at Walmart. If another store has their brand on sale, Walmart will price match it with their brand. So they may not have been cheating.
I think price matching store brand for store brand is ok but I hear of people people price matching store brand for name brand, larger sizes, etc. That IS stealing and I’m sure those same people will be shocked when Wal-Mart stops price matching!

Yeah I got the ad in my paper today, I wanted to price match it is that possible?
Also, this happened last year with the buzz light year operation games, I went to toys r us and they were sold out, because all the employees grab them up, I was told they were allowed to hold them even before the sale started! I saw an employee walk out with a bag full!
So last year I went to target to price match and was able to get 4, since they were all in stock.

i got the last one at my store. I was lucky. It was hidden behind other games, and the sales lady helping earlier found it when she was helping another customer. She ran over to me and said that she found one and gave it to me. Thats great customer service
On a side not, my store had The Game of Life for $3.99. Seemed like a good deal as well??

I called my local Wal-mart and asked about price matching this. She informed me that I would need the ad for that large of a price difference, and that because of the holidays, they are pretty much requiring the ads… so I found the ad for anyone wanting to price match!

Ridiculous. There at 10:00 and all gone, no rainchecks. Target doesn’t carry them so I couldn’t price match there. Didn’t have time to go to Walmart.
I called my closest one and she said they had a few but that 3 people had already called about them so she wasnt sure how long they would last. I asked if they could hold one for me just until the end of the day and she said she couldnt but told me I could buy it online and then pick it up at the store but it looks like you can’t actually do that. I got the last two at my store and had a $2 Reward coupon so FREE!
I got to my store in Raleigh, NC at 9:45 and saw a woman looking at the games. I assumed she knew that they were $1 and said, “What a great deal!”. She did not know about it and was going to buy it anyway. I made her day! 🙂
according to the person that answered at my local store, they have been out since 5 minutes after opening (they’ve only been open 45 mins when i called)
They were all out at the Glendale, AZ location too. Bummer, was going to use one for a gift and donate the other.
Sugarland TX store had a few left, I got my 2 to donate.
I just got back from the store in Hawthorne, CA and they had tons. I got there about an hour after the store opened and it looked like I was the first to touch those shelves! Got 2!
I bought the Groupon deal this morning as well since I needed more baby bottles. I got a 3-pack of Dr. Brown’s bottles, 2 Trivial Persuit games, and 1 Earths Best pouch of baby food for $10.30! Awesome score!
If you have a Five Belowstore near you, my husband bought this exact game there on Sunday for $5. Not as good as $1 but still a good price for a Trivial Pursuit Game and a nice gift.
