Okay question – I snagged 2 of these – 1 for my son and 1 for my nephew – I signed up for the Amazon Prime to get before x-mas and did the cancel thing already so it will not charge – I will not be charged anything for this correct??

No, you will not be charged, but you should have waited until a day before your free month was up to cancel so you could get the full benefit; plus if you cancelled right after ordering something, the order may not go through with free shipping – not sure about that.
Pretty sure if you sign up for the 1 free month, and then sign up for amazon mom for the 3 extra months you can cancel/not auto renew. I’m pretty sure Beth is saying that she stopped the auto-renew feature so she wouldn’t get charged. If so, your membership will just expire on the date and not renew, it won’t just stop the day you click…. HTH
