I WANT THE SIMBA!!! Hope they have some in my store!!!

  2. Jennifer

the Christmas Cabbage Patch dolls are 11.98

  3. Ashlie

Got my son a Kawasaki KFX Power Wheels ($253 at Walmart) for $99.98!!! We had actually just bought the downgraded version (on ‘sale’ at Walmart for $169..thinking it was a good buy) when we heard about the Target deals… so we checked it out. Ended up with the upgraded version for $70 less!! Needless to say we’re returning the Walmart one..

    Thanks so much Hip2Save!!

  4. Ashley57

Does anyone know if this includes Barbie? The only reason I would go is to get the Pastry Chef Barbie for my sister because she just graduated from Culinary school.

    • Amanda M

yes! I think it was 11.98 I thought about getting it for my daughter but changed my mind!

      • Shanna

I got a international Barbie from holland for 5.98.

    • Amber W.

It does include Barbie.. At my store most the Barbie stuff was still at 50 percent though and not 70 and they were not many dolls at my specific store.. It really varies by store.. Hope that helps

  5. bnlsmommy04@msn.com

I sure hope our store didn’t. My car broke down today & I can’t go. It was mostly at 30% the other day.

    • Jenn

Wow – I need to check my Target for that Ninjago lego set! That’s an awesome deal.

      • Jenn

I just checked online to see if that Lego set is in stock and it says not sold in stores.

        • Amanda

I think it says that because they are clearancing them out of the stores. I called and the few stores around here had 1 each left on the shelf! Will be gone by the time I get off work!!! Does anyone know if the Cinderella 12″ bike is the one on clearance?

          • Shelley

Amanda – the Cinderella bike I saw was 16 inches on clearance for $20 something.

    • Amanda

Do you know what high chair and play table? I would love to get those for my best friend who is pregnant?! Thanks!

    • samantha g.

Oooohhhh! I soooo want one of those Lego Ninjago Epic Battle Sets! My son doesn’t have that set and really REALLy wants it! I just called our Target and they don’t have any in stock. They checked the other local Target stores and they don’t have any in stock either. Note: She said the price showing is still the $119.00 (not clearance price).

If anyone else finds an extra Lego Ninjago set, I would be more than willing to buy it from you! Please email me at sammygal1 @ yahoo.com

  8. Amanda M

Got the princess kitchen originally 99.99 for 29.99 🙂 and a Dora I pad game for 9.64 originally 39.99!

  9. Tammi

Best scores were the $6-$7.48 Lego games and my friend picked up a $60 Lego hobbit set for only $17 for me!

  10. Amber W.

I was there when our store opened and scored huge! I got the Disney princess barbie dream house was $175 and got it for $53! I got tons of matchbox/hot wheels sets, Thomas sets, Disney princess dress up set, Lego sets, lalaloopsy, iPad app accessories, Disney cars stuff, the cutest Disney wheelies cars sets for my youngest! I’m sooo excited as I’m stocked easily for the year! Wahoo!

  11. s

Just called my target. Toys still 15-30% off, some 50%. My target never has anything left and what’s left is never marked down much. So jealous… again!!

    • mie28

I would still go and check, I made the mistake last year by calling and asking and the associate told me the same thing. Needless to say when I did get there everything was gone. Im not saying that the person you talked to were wrong, Im just telling you my experience. Hope this helps.

    • Erin

Same here. Strangely, I was in a number of Targets in Pittsburgh after Christmas, and they had some things marked 30-50% off but seemed picked over. In Richmond, there’s pretty much only off-brand toys left and they’re not at 70 yet.

      • Kristy B.

Richmond, Va? The one on Broad near Willow Lawn had tons of stuff! The signs says 50% but the actual toy stickers are marked to 70%! Hope you guys find something good. 🙂

      • Amy

Where in RVA were you Erin? I need to buy a birthday present, but if it’s cleared, it’s not worth wasting my time. I might can hit Willow Lawn this weekend, but not before then.

        • Erin

Lots of knock-off toys, Circo, Play Wonder, etc. Nothing really good in my opinion.

          • VictoriA

I’m in Rva and scored pretty well last night. I was able to pick up 3 different Thomas the train sets for less than $12 each, as well as a Tonka Chuck Race Set for just $6. I saw a few really good deals on Avenger items (by Fisher Price) and some Barbies also. Perhaps it was the store you had gone to. Amy I would go soon, there are still a few great deals to be had but you will have to be quick about it.

  12. Gail

i got a target exclusive Cars 2 set for $14.83 reduced from $49.99 and a Space mater and space shuttle for $8.38 reduced from $27.99. while i was at the store there was a lady grabbing pretty much everything into THREE carts. everything is either 50% off or 70% off now. my son will be so excited on his birthday next week with these amazing bargins. 🙂 i used target gc to pay for all of it so i wasn’t any $$$ out of pocket.

  13. Andrea

I went this morning and scanned a bunch of stuff, my local Target in MD was still mostly all 30% with very few 50% off items. Hoping they will drop soon but the one person I asked said she didnt know.

    • amy

Can you tell me which target in Maryland. I’m in Maryland as well.

      • Heather

Cockeysville and White Marsh are both at 70%. Not too much at either, but worth a look. I wanted to find a Cinderella bike – have you seen one in MD?

  14. Rebekah

I was there at 9am and 2 guys had 4 carts full of stuff.

    • melly

Rebekah do you live in Utah?? Every year here there are two guys and a semi truck who take all of it, really frustrating.

      • Erin

Tell me about it! People buy up this stuff before it really gets marked down. I used to get tons of awesome stuff at 90% off, but no more.

        • Michelle

They don’t mark anything to 90% unless its a holiday clearance anymore. I have picked up items that have fallen off their systems (price scanner says “Item Not Found”) and they can look up last clearance price and it is only 70%. I’ll take what I can get, 70% is still awesome!

      • Rebekah

Yes. They must resale it or something. Sucks for people who just want to get their kids some toys.

        • Sabrina

Toys for Tots here in Flint,MI goes out and buys a bunch of clearence toys so please don’t be quick to judge you never know why they are buying all those toys!!!

          • KACEE

In STL, there is also a group that buys all the toys. I was curios what they do with them…possibly the same thing.

            • MIchele

I have often found returns that have been opened after Christmas at Goodwill in STL. Never had a problem with things working either 🙂

    • Adrienne

      which town in utah?

    • K

You have to get there at 8:00 am. or you will be out of luck.

    • Sarah

When I think about it, the pair I see with carts full at this sale each year are already loaded up before the scanning folks have marked down. So, they then stand there and wait / and ask for prices. So, there you have it – get there at store opening and fill your cart and then see about pricing! Unfortunately, those of us with kids or real jobs don’t have that schedule flexibility. The strange pair at my store always implies it’s for grand kids, but I really doubt they’d need ten sets of each variety of Lego year after year.

      • Elizabeth

My guess is that they are Ebayers. There is a fun store in Salt Lake called NPS or Market Square (weird, but interesting store that sells cheep sometimes-slightly-expired foods, and all kinds of cool stuff salvaged from all kinds of stores – I recommend checking it out), there are several guys there that buy up stuff to resell on Ebay.

        • Rebekah

Yeah i’ve seen them their too. They are always on the phone with someone checking the prices. One time I saw them getting like 10 breast pumps.

  15. sarah

Motor Barbie volkswagon car $35, Innotab games $7, Polly Pockets $8, Hot Wheel sets $11, imaginext planes $5….stocked my gift closet. Happy Shopping!!

  16. Lindsay

If anyone else finds that Hasbro game discounted – there was a coupon in an insert right before Christmas for $5 off. You can DEF use it on that and the game will only be $2.48. My Target was mixed with clearance the other day – One section said 50% off and the rest was 30%. I hope they changed it!

  17. Abby

I’m so happy I got two cart full of Christmas & Birthday presents for my daughter and 10 other niece & nephews for only $233!!!! from Thomas & friends to a kitchen and a whole lot of awesome toys!! I might go back and get a few more toys!!

  18. Mallory

I scored the Disney Princess Kitchen marked down to $29.99. Super excited for the price, but unfortunately the online reviews are not great. Does anyone own this kitchen set, any insights??

    • K

I’ve only heard bad things about it…even for $30, not sure it’s worth it…sorry!

    • Sammi

My 18 month old has this kitchen and she loves it! The backing is a little flimsy but when we got it for $50 I thought it was a great deal! So $30 is even better!

      • Mallory

Thank you for the comment! I cant find any higher quality play kitchens under $40, even used ones on craigslist! So i scooped this up when I saw it. We are still debating whether to assemble it tho lol. Our daughter us 18 months also and verrrrry into princesses.

        • Amber W.

Mallory it’s not an awful kitchen it’s just not made very sturdy in my opinion. I broke down and got a Kidkraft wooden kitchen for my kids and I got it off Craigslist and they love it! Even though it doesn’t talk it is really neat and sturdy and will last a few years. Also for Christmas my kids got the new fisher price talking kitchen table toy (I got it on amazon for $30) usually is $79.99. My kids love it as it talks and there are lots of sets to go with it like a very cute tea set and pizza set. My kids are 1,3, and 5 and all play with it. Keep looking on Craigslist for a wooden Kidkraft brand or Melissa and Doug kitchen as I find those to be the best.

        • Erin

I got a wooden kitchen at Target last year for $12. I wouldn’t pay $30 for plastic unless it was awesome and wouldn’t crap up my house.

    • louise

Mallory I originally bought the disney princess kitchen for $30 2 weeks ago my daughter is 2 and the kitchen already fell on her twice. Today at Target I found the step 2 kitchen marked down to $26 and also found cookie monster kitchen marked down to $18.

  19. melanie

I live in Toledo Ohio and the toys are 70 percent off. I also found a avent breast pump on clearance for 74.99 originally 249.99

    • Abby

Hi was there any reason the pump was clearance? I definitely need one…

      • melanie

Not that I seen they had 2 at the store I went to today.

      • Vanessa

Abby- call your medical insurance company. I was able to get my breast pump for just my copayment ($10) with a script from my ob/gyn! Hope this helps

        • A.R

Vanessa, that’s awesome.. can I ask, which store you bought it from? and what brand it was?.. I really need one.. thanks in advance!!

  20. Amanda

Toys here in MI were between 50%-70% off. Cabbage Patch 2012 dolls for $11.98, Circo fold-up dollhouse (100 pieces) for $6 and change, dress up trunks for $7, La La Loopsy Little Accessories (50% off).

  21. Taryn

Ours went 70% off last Friday. I went in today and could not believe they had one Big Boots left the only thing I really wanted!! Yeah!! I was also able to scour some other great toys too.

  22. emilytwinmom

I live near Atlanta GA and my Target stores either are holding strong at 30% off or they were at 30% two weeks before Christmas and their clearance is long gone! Seriously, I wish they would all get together and uniformly do this stuff!! I did find a few deals the day after Christmas, the Target we frequent was already at 70% off so we got some good deals on wooden train track sets. Otherwise, not much worth going for. No barbies, baby toys, etc. just tons of some monster goo making machine and parts.

    • Tammi

I’m down south of Atlanta and our McDonough store had 3 full aisles of stuff and it was very well organized.

  23. nl

oh man I hope mine is this cheap the other day it was only 30% .I better scan! thanks for the heads up

  24. sara

  26. Amanda

If anyone comes across any Hobbit or that Ninjago Epic Dragon set – I can paypal you the price plus shipping! Please and thanks!

  27. Anna

I was at Target for prescriptions and they had EVERYTHING pictured at 70% off. I got Hook Adventure Rock, building blocks, train set, car set, pirate puzzle, Fisher Price toys, stuffed toys, games and transformers for $42 including tax (8 items total). Within minutes women were there filling their carts with toys! Within 30 minutes half the shelves were cleared! News travels quickly!

I did not load up but tried to be selective. I no longer want a huge supply of toys. Most of what I got today are b-day gifts for nephews and b-day presents for daughter this week. Just got lucky.

  28. DAwn

Can’t ever go early with 3 little ones—it’s not worth it (esp. when one has a cough!) Hoping there’s still a Lego game/set or two at a clearance price when I can finally go in 2 hours……..but not getting my hopes up. How come it’s the folks that could really use these deals often can’t get them because of time or lack of money? I can only go this time because payday was yesterday, and I’m giving myself a whopping $30 to spend. Sorry, venting.

    • Anna

I happen to be there because of prescription pick up. I have pneumonia and I did shopping while waiting for prescriptions. Did not feel good at all but went ahead and looked. I have NEVER been at the store when Target lowered the prices and the shelves are filled! I had my pick but did not feel like getting a basket load. I personally have gotten away from that kind of shopping. I get too much for the kids and often these toys are ending up in Goodwill pile the next year. I am trying to buy less and get more durable toys. True you can find lots of wonderful bargains but some toys at 70% clearance are not that great–out of style, not durable, or kid lost interest. For once I had my pick of items and did not feel like purchasing much. Did get b-day gifts for family for next few months.

      • Erin

So true about much of this stuff ending up in the Goodwill pile! I try to stick to the classic toys with no movie tie-ins.

Hope you’re feeling better. I think i might be on my way to pneumonia, too.

    • Amber W.

I feel for you Dawn! We are a family of 5 with three small kiddos on a single teacher income and I budget very tightly. I actually budget the target clearance into my Christmas shopping budget that I actually do all year long and what ever is left over I use to stock up the following year. I sell the things the kids have outgrown on our online yard sale on Facebook and that’s how I fund our Christmas budget… This year I made over $2500 and that was only in 9 months as I started late this year and I had plenty leftover to hit up the target sale. Every day this week I put my oldest on the bus and then took my 1 and 3 year old to target to see if the toys were at 70 percent clearance… I follow another blog that monitors just target so I knew it would be this week… I hit the store at opening today and made out extremely well.. I hope you are able to get out and find some deals today!

  29. Sarah

Was at my Southern California store when it opened this morning and two employees were price scanning as I arrived in the clearance aisle. I was the only one there and they let me follow behind them as they scanned. I filled up the cart and here’s the best stuff from the haul:

    Cinderella Dress-up Accessories Kit: $5.98
Cinderella Alarm Clock (originally $39.99): 11.98
Cinderella Dress that lights up: $10.68
    Disney Ariel Doll Pool: $6.58
4 Hot Wheels Individual Cars: $.68 each
Hot Wheels Shark Bite Track including 7 cars: $13.48
Hot Wheels Loop Race Track: $11.68
    2 Thomas Tracks/Motorized Cars Sets $11.98 & $13.48
Playskool Stand-Up Activity Table for babies: $13.48

And lots more small toys we’ll use as Easter Basket fillers. This is my fourth January Target Toy Clearance and once again, it didn’t disappoint! Hope you all find great deals today too!

    • virginia

we got the Cinderella Alarm clock too! I thought that was a great deal – my girls love it 🙂

  30. Keosha

Went to 3 Targets today. The first one was in Fayetteville, GA. I got there@ 8 am. I was the first customer in the store. The sign said 30%. However, most things were 70% off. They were still marking items down when I got there. I was able to get a Cinderella Vanity for $29.98 originally $99.98. I got the Camero car for $99.98 originally $328.00. I also got a tea set for 5.01 originally $16.00. 2nd store was in McDonough,GA there I got a Cinderella bike for $23.00 originally $ 77.00. 3rd store was in Morrow, GA the selection wasn’t as great as 1st two stores. Didn’t get anything. I did find the double sided tape and a head band from Christmas but came up item not found and they wanted to sell it to me for regular price. That would be a NO. LOL. What a great deal. Thank you totally target and hip2save for saving me and my family money.

  31. Ashley

My store had a good amount of stuff, but not many name brand toys (no vtech, legos, etc). The shelves weren’t bare or anything, so I’m guessing a lot of it sold at 30% and 50% off. My best score was a Cars acoustic guitar for $12 (reg $40). My daughter will be so excited next Christmas (if we can hold off that long on giving it to her…..).

  32. katieo80

I found the SodaStream for $29.99! Plus there is a $20 MIR good until January 31st so its like getting it for $10!

    • Rachel

Where did you find the rebate? I looked on-line for one and the only one I could find expired at the end of last year.

    • Af

I have a soda stream & I think it not even worth $10

    • Dani

Which sodastream did you find for $29.99? Thanks..

  33. Julia

My target has stuff for 50-70% off. There are a lot of toys but not very many of the nice toys that have been listed by all of you. Was hoping for more girl toys. There are a ton of boy toys. So excited that I was able to buy a few toys for 6-7 dollars.

  34. Gracey

I found Scooby soo leapster exploror game original $30 and had a clearance sticker for $15, I went to scan it and it was $9!!! Woohoo!! These games are so expensive too!

  35. Brooke

SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!! I have been talking about wanting certain toys and my hubby just so happended to remember to stop at Target on his way into work!!!!!!! He picked up everything I have been eyeing for weeks!!! Princess castle, Cinderella vanity, step 2 kitchen, legos, etc!!!

    • K

      GOOD GUY!!

  36. Lindsay S

I scored tons of Thomas the train stuff for my 4 year old! I was even able to find some wooden ones marked down to 70% off! My favorite was the Kid Trax dodge charger police car marked down from 289.99 to 83.00. I have been wanting to get this forever and I was so happy that they actually had it in stock. There was also a Mercedes motorized toy for 53.00, but it only had room for one kiddo. Love the Target toy clearance!!

  37. Jill

I went to my Target yesterday and it was still at 30% off. Utah Target stores are always really behind. 🙁

  38. Smile!

I have a question – what do you think the people do with the toys that have CARTS full – like more than 20 toys? Do you think they ebay them? donate them? What do you all think? I am curious?! I was not able to get there at 8 – but got to one at 9:30 ish…there was still a good selection…I got a few things. When I went to check out I asked – was it crazy at 8:00?! She said, yes it was!! Packed! I am just wondering…I know a gift closet is what many do..but just wondering what people do with that many toys!! There were also some SERIOUS shoppers by me…I heard them talking about teaming up – as in call me when you go to the other TARGET and let me know what you find, etc. etc. I was just by myself but thought that was a neat idea…to team up with friends!!!

    • Kelly

There were a group of women at one of our Targets, who were definitely in cahoots with someone else at the other local Target. They were on the phone talking about what toys were at each store. They told me that they plan this every year, and they scope it all out the night before at 9pm right before they close. They were very organized… I just happened to stop by on my way home from a long night shift, and got lucky to grab some items for my niece, nephew, neighbor, and my son. I did get some GREAT deals!

When I was checking out, the cashier said “Oh you found a few things” and upon further discussion, she told me that in them morning there were women there with over $500 worth of toys (that’s what they paid so it was worth A LOT more). She said that they told her they were for charity, so I certainly hope that is the truth.

    • jackie

i kind of agree! Any Hip2savers living near pembroke pines FL want to buddy up? I saw a girl post about the rachel ray pans. Thanks to her i found the one she mentioned that was left at 50% off =D.

      • Marie

Hey Jackie I shop at Pembroke Pines target too! Did u get any toys?

    • Julie

I had 10 toys and it filled my cart because the boxes were so big. All those toys make for a present for everyone on our birthday list. It looked like I bought the whole store though because the boxes were falling out..and my with my baby carseat in the cart it looked even fuller! I think it is smart to stock up when it is cheap. Waiting to buy it all as each birthday rolls around is 3 times as expensive!

      • Kelly

Julie you are so right! That’s why I purchased gifts for birthdays and Christmas, as well as some Easter basket and Valentine presents for my little boy. By saving money this way, I’m able to make donations (either monetarily or with gifts out of my stash) throughout the year. My son is obsessed with Cars, so I was able to get gifts for him that would have normally cost me well over $100, for around $25. 🙂

    • Tammi

Yeah agree some of the boxes are huge! I have three kids so even just shopping for their upcoming birthdays and for all the birthday parties they’re starting to get invited to can fill up a cart and I don’t even have nieces or nephews to buy for. Plus I pick up little $2/$3 items for prizes for my guys throughout the year for good report cards, etc. Also I picked up some small items for their Easter baskets. I went today with two of my friends and then I was talking to another friend that was at a different target since we were trying to hunt down lego sets for our older boys since those things are hard to find on sale.

I bought about 50 toys and had two cart full of toys. I save money all year round to shop the clearance sales this is the only way I can afford gifts for all my cousins ( I’m the oldest cousin they’re all age 1-7) I’m 23 and with a daughter plus 12 cousins it gets expensive.. I don’t always score like today this is a first to me and I’m so happy I don’t have to spend $30 on a single toy times 13..

    • Amber W.

I walked out with 4 overflowing cart fulls of toys and they are for my family. I did get some rather larger items like the disney princess Barbie dream house, Cinderella bike, larger hot wheels sets. I hit this sale and the one in the summer and that’s how I do my Christmas shopping for my 3 kids as well as birthdays and Easter… I believe I spent around $300 and saved about $750 or so… My mom and I go together and put anything we think my kids might like I to the carts and then we go through the carts to make sure we don’t have doubles or anything that seems junky that they won’t really play with… I also grab toys for donation for toys for tots as well as my husbands and schools angel trees.. This way since we live on a tight budget I’m not having to go out two days before a birthday and spend $50 for one toy. The key for me is planning and being there when the store opens, even taking my 1 and 3 year old with me after putting my 5 year old on the bus.

I will say that one of the targets by me I will not go too as there are a few people that have the employees help them fill up pallets of toys at store opening that I know they resale 🙁

      • Erin

Honestly, I can’t see many of these junky toys selling for more than what they paid. Now, at 90% off, maybe, 70%, not so much. Maybe they are for a charity.

    • Kate

I filled my cart today, but what I did was bring a list of every one of my kids’ playmates I will be buying a birthday gift for this year and I picked up almost the whole year’s worth of birthday gifts (plus three Christmas gifts for each of my own kids!) and only spent $65 🙂 I still have a couple birthday gifts I will need to pick up later since my store didn’t have much selection for kiddos under two, but I still feel pretty good about my trip!

Last July I had one cart full and I used them for B-days and x-mas. I don’t think it’s worth sling on eBay considering postage, eBay fees and Paypal fees.

  41. Betty J

Went to Target last night, near Buffalo, NY; our toys are still at 30%.

  42. KACEE

In STL, there is also a group that buys all the toys. I was curios what they do with them…possibly the same thing.

  43. Andrea

Did anyone happen to look at how much the little tikes cozy truck ride on toy was. It is still on clearance for $60 by me? I have been waiting for it to go cheaper.

      • stephanie

Yes, there are toys, but they are somewhat picked through. Still a couple of finds though….like lego iron man half off and jack and neverland pirates play set 70% off for $11 something.

  46. Susan

I got the big Dodge Charger motorized ride-on police car by TRAX, originally $279.99 on clearance for $83.98. I’ve been stalking it for 3 weeks waiting for this price. Yahoo!!!!

    • Kelly

That’s awesome… I got it when it was half off because I was afraid there would not be one left. I’m still happy for the half off… but happy you got it at that price! That’s AWESOME!!!

I’m in Fairview, Oregon and my target NEVER has the clearance at 70% at the same time everyone else is. I was there yesterday price checking and most is still 30% some were 50% and not one was 70%, along with the fact that MY target doesn’t carry a handful of the great coupon deals either, its very disappointing at times because I print the coupons expecting to get a good deal and then come home with very lil.

    • Augnewmommie

I would go today just in case. My store near me was 39 and 50 percent off yesterday . But today it was 70 percent off. Don’t want you to miss out on some good deals

    • Erica

Ive been checking my Target almost everyday and it has been 30% for a while then yesterday some things were marked down to 50% and then today everything was marked down to 70%…you may want to check. I only got a few things this time cause I didn’t go check until 5pm today.

  49. Lisa

West Seattle still had their signs at 50% but some product was marked down to 70% off.

Polly Pocket Ultimate Adventure Park $8.98
Cars 2 Mobile App toy $5.98
Playwonder Dollhouse $39.01 (regular was $130) My little gril is going to love this!
    Star Wars Lego case $5.98
Star War license characters pack $9.98
    Let’s Play dressup clothes $5.08

  50. Jill

I went today to check my NC Target and it was still 50% and they had just marked down that morning. It was quite a bummer. I am going to try again next week and see what happens.
