DARN! This appears to be expired now, but sign up for LivingSocial so you are ready for the next offer!

Wow! Calling all you LivingSocial members! And if you are not yet a member, you can sign up for a FREE account here. You can currently score a completely FREE $10 or even $20 credit that will automatically be applied at checkout. Note that I received a $20 credit, however, my sister only received a $10 credit, so I am not sure how they decide who gets what credit?

Update: Another reader just got a $30 credit! Awesome!!

Just follow the directions below to score yours:

* First, if you don’t have an account yet, sign up for one here.
* Now go here to check out the new 2013 Ford Fusion by clicking the arrows on the banner image and stop when you get to the banner image like the pic below that states, “Receive a special discount at LivingSocial”, then click on the “Get Discount” link…

They have a bunch of great national deals that should be FREE or close to FREE after the credit, so make sure to take some time to browse around. Note that once you find an item, you’ll need to add it to your cart, then start the checkout process. On the final checkout page, you should see the discount automatically applied.

I was able to score a voucher for 4 Angry Birds Flashing toothbrushes for FREE ($19 value!)…

(Thanks, Free Stuff Times!)

  11. Navywife0712

Keeps telling me that my $30 expired as well… Any ideas or solutions?

  12. meme

FYI: The code has already expired. I had $10 earlier which I used to get the barbie toothbrush set and it says that code has been applied and to verify during checkout and indeed it did apply the $10 so I’m fairly certain this is a dead deal. Do not proceed…you will be charged for your items.

  13. Edna

I got $30 but it keeps saying my promo code is expired when I try to buy something:(

  18. Maura Mc.

Site CRASH. LOL, knew that was coming. I got $20, but will it stay when the site comes back is the question. 🙂

  19. fuzzymitten

  20. Diane

  24. Heather C.

Has anyone been able to purchase anything with the credit yet?

    • jennysposh

Yes, It took a couple tries. But i was able to buy the 7 piece makeup set (normally $10) for $0.00 🙂

      • Leah

I did the same thing, but now it looks like I need to redeem the code and pay $3.99 for shipping. Do you see that?

        • Deb VanHouten

You do have to pay shipping for most of the items. Be sure to read ‘the fine print’ on each item.
I received the $10 credit and when I go to checkout, it does show as a $10 credit, so do not pull the plug unless the credit does show at checkout. It also shows at ‘fusion10’ as a coupon code.
The website is down right now (I’m sure we all had a hand in that!).

          • Leah

It didn’t charge my card anything (I hope!), it says “your card has been successful charged for $0.00, but then when I got the link to redeem it, it said I need to pay $3.99 in shipping. For an item I don’t really need, I’m not going to spend $3.99. I guess if I do nothing, nothing will happen?

            • Deb VanHouten

You should take the item out of your cart, thought

            • glylibra

nuts!! i should’ve read all the comments here prior to purchasing…cus now i have the code but don’t want to pay shipping!! drats!!

        • Heather C.

Yep, I did that and it said you had to pay 3.99 for shipping. DARN!

          • Leah

Deb: My cart on livingsocial? I already “purchased” it. It’s now listed in my vouchers. Do you know how to take it off that list? I don’t see a delete button. Thanks for your help!

            • Deb VanHouten

Then you already purchased it, so you must/ have paid the shipping with a credit card. There isn’t a way to delete it now (you bought it). You will get an email confirming your purchase with directions to redeem it. You cannot delete once you have bought it.

            • Deb VanHouten

I see! You got the voucher for free, but to use the voucher for the makeup set, you will have to pay the $3.99 for shipping. If you don’t use it, just ignore it.

            • Leah

              Thanks, Deb!

  25. Andrea

Thanks for posting this! I got $20 and used it for a pearl necklace and earring set.

    • Jordan

Are they charging you $6.99 shipping? They are trying to charge me? Thanks

  26. Amy

The site is now down. I got a $20 credit. Hope I can still use it when then are up and running again !!!

  27. Sheila

  28. Corinne Char

it says mine code is expired when I tried to purchase things. any idea how to fix this?

  29. karina

All of the codes are expired.

  30. Meg

I got $30…but now it says site down???

  31. Megan

When you get the credit and you click shop now, it doesn’t show up anywhere. Pretty bummed, I got a $30 credit. 🙁

  32. roxy

I don’t know if anybody read the terms and conditions of the deal. I think it’s only certain deals…. I’m not sure

I put what Colin purchased with her credit in my cart and it was still expired…

    • meme

      Looks like it’s all gone.

  33. nicole

WHOA i got 30 thanks Collin.

  34. Candra P

I got $20. This is my first time purchasing on Living Social. I picked an item to purchaseand now im at checkout but I dont see the credit…Is it on the last page? Do I really need to enter my creditcard?

    • johnstelmack

You have to enter your credit card, but on the last page of check out your code is applied and the total charged is the cost less your credit value. Then you get a voucher (check the menu bar at the top). Click that and follow the instructions to redeem as they vary with retailers.

  35. jennifer

    YAY I got $20!

  36. karebearye

    Mine shows expired as well.

  37. Megan

Ahh! I see, so yes it’s like you have to choose a deal that the code can be applied to. Then when you have done that it will show you that it’s expired.

  38. jhnicole

aww i clicked back on mine and now it says 10 i had 30 at first.

  39. Heather

I got $20, followed directions and my card was charged, currently been on hold for over 15 minutes to get it refunded, would have been nice.

  40. Kristen

Is anyone else having to enter credit card info?

    • johnstelmack

You must enter Credit Card info, though your total at the end will be the difference in the cost minus the credit amount. So mine said $0.00 charged to XXXXXXXX card. Worked like a champ. Very smooth. When done, click the Voucher tab in the menu bar at the top of the LivingSocial site to view vouchers and redemption instructions.

  41. Saree

Mine worked 🙂 Got $10 and used it for a free snapfish photobook. My total was $0! Woo hoo. Thanks!

  42. Jeff Walker

After im done with check out, do I need to do anything else???

    • johnstelmack

Click the Vouchers tab in the LivingSocial Menu bar at the top of the screen on instructions to redeem your voucher. Some are print out, some are codes to use at the retailers site, etc.

  43. Deb VanHouten

I was just able to complete my purchase. I bought a voucher for a local ice cream place for $0.00! Thanks Collin!

    • Candra P

Did you still have to enter your credit card info?

      • johnstelmack

        YES

  44. amy

i got 20 and just completed purchase. thanks so much!!

  45. holly

$30 and its expired. I don’t understand since it says you have 7 days to use it.

  46. iiisindyiii

$I got $30 first but it expired, then I tried the second link click the arrows of the fusion car and then I clik on the one that says we got a surprise for you. I got $20.00 and use it to buy the make-up brushes!

  47. Elaine

I got 20 and got the angry birds toothbrushes and it worked perfectly. Thanks.

    • johnstelmack

      Me too!

  48. roxy

I only won $10, but I was able to go through until the end. It said code was applied and my total was 0. It was a local deal. It won’t work on all deals though. Some deals say ‘they cannot be used with deal bucks’

  49. 10phalanges

I used the first link and got $30, but then I got the “you must have come from MSN to get this deal” message. So I used the second link and got $10 for me and $10 for my husband and used them to purchase two of the Snapfish photo book deals. Cheap Mother’s Day gifts! Thanks, Hip! 🙂
