No way around it as far as I can tell. Starbucks itself doesn’t want your #; it is to verify with Facebook. By adding your # to facebook, you become verified.

Just as a tip, the lady at my local Starbucks said they will actually fill ANY cup with the $.10 discount, even if it’s from home or Dunkin’ Donuts, or whatever. Of course ymmv, but that’s what I was told.
