UPDATE – Don’t forget that you can still print a few Valentine’s Day candy coupons on Target.com that will pair nicely with the 50% off clearance! (Thanks, Simone!)

Check out the email I received from reader Casey this morning…

Hi- here is my haul from this mornings trip to Target…all part of Valentine’s clearance. Yes, even the Sesame Street figurines, which are perfect for my daughter’s 2nd birthday party gift bags. Found them in the regular toy aisle; on sale for 4.99, but marked down to 2.99!!

The chips were also in regular aisle. The pink heart is what makes it Valentine, along with the 2 free Rold Gold bag symbol on left side. I advise people to call their store as, the one in South County (St. Louis, Missouri) was not 50 percent off and was told they wouldn’t be until Sunday or Monday. This haul came from Arnold, MO. Thanks!! Happy hunting.

Come back and let us know if you find Valentine’s Day goodies on clearance at your store!

(Thanks, Casey!)

I was disappointed when I went this morning to find that our Target didn’t mark any of the Valentine’s items down yet.

    • Casey Gwynn Parker

Try calling the store before you leave your house. Just a thought….lol

      • sarah

That seems like common sense, but in my region a call to a store gets you no where. In my mother’s area, where they have over-qualified retail employees, they’ll actually give you an accurate answer over the phone, so she always suggests calling too, but it doesn’t apply to my region!

How much was the radio wagon trike? Was it on clearance?

    • Casey

Sorry, I should have specified…I was using the box as my “shelf” to display my goods. Also, the chips, granola bars, and goldfish were marked 30 percent but I price-checked and they were 50 percent off. Happy hunting!

      • amy

How much were the goldfish and granola bars marked down to price wise..

        • Casey

Goldfish and granola, 2.49 each. I did a quick price compare to the “normal” boxes, and it seemed these were priced better for the weight of contents. Again, quick comparison because I had my two little ones under two with me 🙂

The Richmond, VA (Libbie Place location) Target has oodles of stuff 50% off. Interestingly, it is in several locations throughout the store so you have to go hunting for it. Lots of great stuff to be had–candy, candles, strings of lights, photo frames, cards, gift bags, hand towels, etc. etc.

I’m sure each store is different because I didn’t see any of the stuff shown in Casey’s picture above. Enjoy the hunt 🙂

    • Casey

It is so interesting to hear every store has different stock! Hope you found other great deals at your Target! The play-doh, & hot wheels were in Valentine’s area, Sesame street toys in regular aisle. So fun!

    • Shanna

Thanks! I live in Richmond and wanted to know if any Target had stuff marked down. BTW, you have my moms nickname…..bunny!

  4. Jena

They had great stuff at my target as well….most of the candy was only 30%, so the best deals were on chips, prtzels, granola bars, etc.

Awesome – thanks for sharing! How much was the playdoh?

      • Casey

        2.49 each. 15 pack

        • Heather

Thanks again for sharing. My Target didn’t have the playdoh (boo ;( ) but they did have the chips that i snagged for my sons lunchbox!

So interesting to see all the different sales…I got 2 play dohs…was looking for the goldfish but they must have been sold out…got the pretzels…they were only 30% off..ours had a sign that said all food is 30% off…Valentine’s related….not much left @ all at the one I went to….probably should have gone to my other target…they usually have a much better selection….Oh, well! The best part is that I can do this again next year! I have been an “after holiday” sale shopper for years…..:) It’s fun!

    • Casey

Great attitude! Always next year 🙂 My favorite find was the Sesame Street figurines!

  7. Mary

At my Target the bagged Valentine candy wasn’t on sale at all (bags like Snickers, Dove chocolate hearts, Twizzlers). All of the boxed candy hearts and candy Valentine kits were on sale for 50% off however.

  8. Gail

i picked up some hello kitty pez for 0.99 each, plus three valentine card packs (spiderman, brave and lego star wars) at 50% off….those will do nicely for next year when my son is in first grade. 🙂 paid with earned target gc from swagbucks too, yay!

  9. Joy

    Great Easter basket finds!

I was able to get some awesome nordic ware baking sheets for 4.99 at my store. They were with the Valentines baking stuff and have heart shaped cookies on the picture. They are really nice!

    • Evelyn

I got a cookie sheet too for the same price. The rectangular piece was a bit heavy and I can see the quality on this non-stick bakeware. So happy with this purchase. Scored some of the 20 snack size chips too. When I pulled up at our Target, the parking lot was full at a little after 8:20am and guess where everyone was at? Valentine’s clearance! Found one lone box of huge Russel Heart-Shaped Chocolates and decided to go ahead and get it. The box was too adorable.

The Dollar Spot did not have any signage, but all Valentine and other purple dots were 50% off! I stocked up on a bunch of art related items and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. (Chicago)

    • Sarah

Hmmmmm…….hopefully the Targets that are an hour away from me will still have the Jake stuff on clearance the next time I get to go. My boys love Jake 🙂

  12. Ashley57

My hubby and I celebrate valentine’s day on the day after so we can get clearance deals. I picked up Godiva and Peeps at 50% off, and some Lindt at 30% off.

  13. sarah

When does Target markdown to 70% and 90% on their valentines?

    • Valerie

usually about 3 – 7 days after the holiday. I’ve been told it really depends on how things are selling. When it slows a bit they mark it down further. You just have to keep checking.

      • Ashley57

I used to work clearance at Target and I would be really surprised if anything goes 90%, and if it does you would have to be there the first day. Some will go 70%, but probably not much candy.

  14. molly

They had the valentine clothing on sale for 70% off at my Target and they had some really cute character clothing for my girls. 🙂

  15. dealhousewife

Im still looking for the Valentines Day dog shaped candy dish to no avail! If anyone can pick an extra one up for me, Ill gladly email you to work out arrangements 🙂

  18. Jennifer

  19. Kristan

Loved seeing a St. Louis post!! Of course I’m out of town visiting in laws in a tiny no-target town so I’ll have to see what’s left next week. 😉

    • Casey

Where in St. Louis do you live? Fun to see other St. Louis, readers!

  20. rosana

  21. ljs321Lisa

Today at my Target, the valentine clearance marked off 70%. Thank you for posting. I was able to buy chips for $2, sesame street characters for $1.79 each and party supplies for 90 cents each.
