I didn’t expect too much from the price of this bag. Boy was I wrong!!!!! It’s very soft real leather, with a thick strap that doesn’t cut into your shoulder, and very comfortable as a cross body bag. It’s large enough to hold the largest cell phone, a small wallet, lipstick, small make up, or chapsticks on the small lower pockets, and the large pocket on the opposite side can hold a small brush and full size glasses or sunglasses. I don’t need more than that for a nite out or traveling lite shopping. And it fits under your coat if you are traveling in a high pick pocket area, ie, NYC.
I bought five of these for Christmas gifts and am absolutely delighted with them! The quality is excellent, it can be worn casually or as an evening bag, and the price is certainly right. I highly recommend this item.

I think for a travel bag, its fine. It is not the prettiest purse, but if it will help me keep everything organized I’m all for comfort over looks. I purchased the black one for an upcoming trip to Philadelphia for a conference.

It’s ugly, but these are used for travel bags mainly. This is definitely a bargain for one! It’s great for taking the Eurorail – no pick-pocketing/stealing these because it’s a cross body bag.
I’m taking the kids to Europe for 2 months next year & I have my eye on 2 cuter/more efficient ones on Amazon that I’m hoping will drop dramatically around Christmas (like everything else does!).

Is there a compartment inside? It’s not showing you that from the different views.
I think that was a dumb question. LOL. It does state “fully satin lined interior.”
Don’t be rude. It isn’t a dumb question. The lined interior could mean the individual, zippered compartments. One of the reviewers mentioned the small pockets on one side and the large pocket on the other side, but did not mention a compartment on the inside that would be accessed from the top.

I work with the elderly and take them on errands.. so this is exactly the type of bag that would help me be more efficient and practical. Call me old fashioned if you will..I wouldn’t say ugly..I think they are kinda cute.. I am well under 50 btw. Thnx for sharing..may get one in black.. when you are assisting an elderly person, the across the shoulder type bag is the only thing that works getting them in and out of the car.
Not a designer bag, but looks great for when I am out with the kiddos, in my sporty attire. I don’t care what I’m looking like at that time anyway- just practicality. My only concern is the look of the leather. Hope it is nice.
The strap looks thin and like it would jab into my shoulder if filled with even a phone, keys, wallet, and 1-2 extra items like gum and an iPod.
