The e-mail that was sent to me said today and tomorrow. 03-19-03/20

    • Ciera

My email also said today and tomorrow.

      • mel

        mine too.

  2. hopenfaith

The e-mail that was sent to me said today and tomorrow. 03-19-03/20

  3. Ms. J

The email I got said “no matter what you spend”…doesn’t say anything about spending $10?

    • sandra

My email had the same “no matter what you spend” sentence as well. Looks like the deal varies?

      • Jennifer Olson

Same here. I got my 2000 pts in store today after spending $3.00, but it didn’t matter the amt. I also got a Walgreen’s Q at checkout for the $2 off $10 to use tomorrow and Thurs.

    • Lieca

Went to Walgreens, didn’t get points and manager said I have to wait 3-5 days. I called customer service when I got home and operator said I had to spend $10 and I told her that the email says NO MATTER WHAT YOU SPEND!. It seems again, Walgreens dropped the bomb on this and lack of communication.

  4. Melissa

My email said today only. However, there is no minimum that needs to be spent.

  5. Darcey

My email said “receive 2,000 points on your next purchase no matter what you spend! Today or tomorrow. 3/19-3/20.”
I guess people are getting different emails. I wonder why mine was “no matter what you spend”. I’m not complaining 🙂 just curious.

    • Beth

Mine said the same thing. I had to pick up my free 8×10 so I picked up some cheap Easter candy for my kids baskets that I was going to buy anyway. I got the $2,000 points for spending $2.78!! Now I have over 10,000 points!

  6. Fay

I got a coupon in the store for $2.00 off a purchase of $10.00 or more for tomorrow and the next day. I purchased $14.31 and did not receive the extra 2000 points. Did not get the email so can not ask anyone about it.

  7. christi

i got no minimum as well! today and tomorrow for me!

  8. babyigotthis

How about online scenerios I cant get to the store

  9. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How strange! It does seem that everyone is getting different offers with different dates, so be sure to check your emails!

    • Diane

I have no email – so does that mean no points for me?

  10. Tarri

My email was for 2000 points with $10 purchase today only. Maybe because I have a low balance of rewards??

    • Darcey

I don’t shop at Walgreens very often, so I have a low balance rewards too and I received the “receive 2,000 points on your next purchase no matter what you spend! Today or tomorrow. 3/19-3/20.”
So it seems to be pretty random.

      • J

I never shop at Walgreens and received it off any purchase as well.

  11. Melissa

So, do we need to print out the email and take it in?

    • Kathryn K

wouldn’t do any good to have the email, because there’s no scanbar or code to enter on it.

  12. Kathryn K

i got the “Get 2,000 points when you spend $10 or more*. Today only. Tuesday 3/19.”
maybe because i haven’t shopped this week?
or maybe they KNOW how much shopping is going on in a particular area?
i find it odd it doesn’t say if i can shop in store to get it, or only on line, or both.

    • Kathryn K

P.S. mine has a “shop now” red button, so makes me think i can only do it online; but, i don’t know.

  13. Lizze

Mine says Today only & a minimum $10 purch for the 2,000 points. Still a weet deal. Thanks Collin! 🙂

  14. KeleB

I did not get an email buttoday I did get a $2/$10 at the register after spending $4.17 after coupons on a ton of God products clearanced down 75%. Shampoo, conditioner and body washes for .32 after coupons! I picked up hair dye for .24 after coupons ( which were peelies right on the boxes) and John Freida deep conditioner for .49 after coupons. Good day at Wag’s!

    • KeleB

      *Gud products…

  15. Jane

I also did not get any email – is there a coupon printing in-store or not? Not sure I want to load up kids if it is not worth the trip:) On another note – does anyone have 1 or 2 extra Hershey coupons?? I didn’t get them and would like to make use of the deal this week or next. If so, please email me at jane@mcleodrealtors.com – perhaps we can trade? Thank you!!

  16. Julie

Mine expired today so I did the deal online with code Lucky 15 to get 15% off. Spent $25.47 getting 28,000 points.

    • llc

      Wow. Completely impressed Julie!

      • Julie

Thanks! I wanted to get the best deal I could think of online since couldn’t make it out today.

        • Katie

What did you buy if you don’t mind me asking.

  17. karen

i went today and spent 30.00 and did not get any extra points…

    • terri

Did you read the * part of the sign/email? You probably bought something that gave you points so it’s excluded.

      • mel

that’s not what the email says (at least for mine) All it says is:
“Points will not be earned in a transaction where Redemption Dollars or Store Credit is used.”
Means you can’t use $5 Balance Rewards towards the purchase and get the 2,000 bonus. The rest of the blurb just says what you can’t use the point promotion towards. Nothing about not getting the bonus if you’re also buying a deal that gives you points.

  18. mom2trewife2vic

I never received/ checked my email but it was posted on their door. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!! I spent $42 in Walgreens and the cashier noticed that I did not receive my points. After she read through the rules/ exclusions we learned that you can’t get bonus points if something you purchased was eligible. Crazy right? So…she refunded the amount entire order and separated the items. After she rang non point items I STILL didn’t receive points….so THIS order was refunded. In the end, the manager used a barcode to give me points. She did this a few times until my points added up. Then I repurchased everything…and ended up with additional points…that didn’t show up initially. Make sure you check your receipt and not include items that you can earn additional points in this order. After my fiasco, she took down the sign.

    • mom2trewife2vic

I meant you will not receive the bonus points if your purchase includes products that will earn you points. For example: if you purchase $15 on 3 items and one earns you rewards the entire purchase is ineligible for bonus points.

    • terri

I think the manager and employees should be made aware of the excluded items, conditions before a customer walks in….

  19. Veronica

No wonder!! I just came back and was like “Why did I get 2000 extra points?”.

  20. terri

There are a LOT of exclusions, so just make sure you read the * part…

  21. Toni S.

I spent $3 at Walgreens this morning. When I got home I had an email for 2,000 points no matter what you spend, but I did not receive the points on my purchase. I might go back and buy the iced coffee and see if it works next time.

  22. kim

Julie- how in the heck did you get 28,000 points? 28K, really?

    • Julie

I just bought Bayer Aspirin. They were 2.99 buy 1 get 1 50% off and each one gave 2000 points.

      • kim

Thanks for the reply. I don’t aspirin but making $3 out of it would have been fantastic!

        • Julie

          Your welcome:)

      • ali

I did the same thing online…bought 14 boxes of bayer low dose @bogo 50% off, used the lucky15 code for 15% off, total was $26.65 which earned free shipping, earned 28000 points for bayer deal and 2000 bonus points from my email (30000 points equals $35!) and 6% cash back from shopathome. I know I could have used manf. Q’s if I did the deal in store but I only had 2, so the 15% off code was much better and I didn’t clear the shelves! Both of my parents use low dose aspirin daily, so getting paid to stock them up is fantastic!! Walgreens is awesome…you never could’ve gotten a deal like this at Walmart. 🙂

^^ I don’t think this is correct because this morning I did the online version where if I buy X number of garbage bags, I would get 3k pts- I did this and was awarded 5k pts instead, I am guessing this the 2k freebie. However, I never got an email about the points….

    • mel

exactly. I am heading out in a few to do the windex/cottonelle deal. I will report back if I get the 3000 for spending $15 + 2000 bonus.

    • Lisa

I went to the store and did receive the e-mail. I made a mistake when I bought aspirin today. It did not award bonus points as the aspirin was already giving points. I ended up doing a second transaction to get my bonus points buying nothing with points attached to it and got the bonus points. Bought:
      2 Almay-$5.99 & $2.99 (50% off 2nd item)- $4.00 Walgreens =$4.98
      1 Starbucks Coffee=.99
      3pk Ladies Clearance Socks-$1.39
      2 -2 liter Pepsi= $3.98
      Total $11.34
      – .50 Starbucks Coupon,- $3.98 For Pepsi (2 coupons from Super Bowl time when you could get a Free 2 Liter coupon mailed to you, – $5.00 ($5/2 IP)
      Subtotal $1.86 + sales tax of .91 = 2.77
awarded 2000 points so all above with tax was essentially .77 including tax. I always save up my free coupons to use in just this kind of scenario. Now I have the $2/10 for tomorrow and will go back and buy the aspirin and hopefully if you use a discount dollar amount off the aspirins will still award points. Does anyone see a problem with that B4 I mess up again?

  24. Elaine

Can someone please post the exclusions? I didn’t get the email

And this is what my email says….

  25. Marissa

so can you use RR to make your 10$ less OOP or do you have to actually spend 10$ to get it?

  26. Corrine

Mine was for Today Only. With a $10 purchase and I used a $2 RR and still got it 🙂

  27. Lisa

Does anyone know what happens to your points if you exceed the 40,000 points ($50) amount ? Do they keep building or do you max out at that many points?

    • Fay

They continue to build. At one time I had over $200.00 worth of points. It came in handy during Christmas, as I got the boys expensive cologne. I have $70.00 right now.

      • Lisa

Nice to know, thank you! Whats the next level then? Is it just in 5000 increments after 4000? I think this program is more confusing that most with all its intertwining caveats.

  28. Gwenny

I got the any amount email fortoday only, i thought it was for my birthday…i guess they don’t do something special like cvs does

    • Lisa

      Well Happy Birthday to you

  29. Tamika

I went to Walgreens and tried one of the scenarios and it did not give me the 2000 points:-(

  30. AnnaD

Yay!! Worked for me. Bought 2 blue diamond almonds(6 oz) used (2) 1/1 Q’s, paid 2.07 got back 2000 pts. Gotta love Free Almonds.

  31. Nina S.

If you get the choclate be sure to submit your receipt to ibotta for $0.50

  32. venus

    Its not working for me!
    I bought cottonelle fresh wipe $2×6 $3= $15
Used 7 $1 off coupons. Paid $8 tax. I only got 3000 points from cottonelle.

The $10 spend should be after coupons? Or before coupons?
