I may be in the minority here, but just wanted to offer my two cents: I find the growing number of posts for free apps to be a bit much. I come here for coupon deals and online bargains. I know they are free, but I have found that it is actually easy to find apps for free, if you are looking for them on your own. I love this site – just had to share my thoughts.
Freeforall, I would agree with you if Hip2save was purely a coupon site. But it is not. It is a multi-faceted money saving site. I personally appreciate the free apps posts. Sure, I can hunt them all down myself if I want to take the time, but I really don’t have the time, anymore than I have to time to track down great coupon deals. I think we all come across posts for things we may not be interested in: Diaper deals when not all of us have babies, store deals that aren’t available in our area, coffee deals for people who don’t drink coffee. I think the free apps offers are in that category. Some people are simply not interested in reading about them, and a lot of us don’t have Smart-phones or I-pads to begin with. So, if I may make a suggestion: just ignore those posts that aren’t relevant to you and enjoy the ones you are interested in. We are all in the same boat!
Freeforall- thank you for sharing your opinion. I agree, that and all of the free kindle books (so easy to find!) are cluttering! So here is what I do- I switch to the mobile site, that way it is really easy to skip the posts that do not interest me! Hope that helps you weed through them!
I love the free apps posts. Keeps me from having to spend the time looking for them. You have posted some great ones to download that I would have never gotten had u not posted them. Each and every thing that’s posted isn’t for everyone. Just keep scrolling thru if u see something that doesn’t interest you. Variety is good!
I, too, like the posts for free apps! I don’t always have the time to scroll through the app store, and have downloaded many of the ones posted. If I’m not interested in one, I just keep scrolling. Thanks for looking out!
Not all posts are going to be EVERYONE’S “cup of tea” .. that is why, if the post doesn’t help you or interest you then you should keep scrolling. It’s not like we pay to use this money saving site, so I feel as no one really should complain about what the post are or aren’t. Personally my son will be going into Pre-K this year so this is awesome, and I usually don’t have the time just to go through looking for free apps everyday to see what’s newly free. I have a full time job on top of being a full time mother .. so a big thank you Collin for your many different posts.
If it wasn’t for Collin posting these apps for free I would have no idea. So thank you Collin. I’m excited to try these with my son!

Love the app freebies! It IS easy to get free apps-but they are usually packed with ads and only “lite” versions. Colin only posts limited time free offers for full versions. No inappropriate ads, no “accidental” in-app purchases by the kiddos. Thanks, h2s!

Thanks so much for the post! I teach a preschool special education class for students with severe disabilities. These apps are great for what I need. I would not have known they were free if you had not posted so please know that there are many people who appreciate these posts. Also, like another saver commented, it is nice to have apps that aren’t lite.
I enjoy all the post. I work full time and run like crazy. I leave my house at 6 a.m. and most days don’t get home til 7 or 8 p.m. I don’t have time to find things. Right now in my purse I have coupons for free paint, entenmans, hair color and something else because of her. I received my free child safety lock and tons of free samples because of this site. I share stuff from her site everyday with friends and family. If she post somethintg that doesn’t help you scroll past it. Please keep up the good work Collin.
