So can I but the coupons in my paper stink. We only get Redplum. This is a great deal when you consider shipping too.

      • Emily G

I forgot to say that my mom and dau entered too….maybe the 3 of us will get lucky LOL

  4. Tat

I think this has to me the best giveaway ever! I rarely enter Collin’s giveaways but this is the bomb! 🙂

    • Kimberly

      Me too !
      🙂

I guess I consider myself very fortunate because I have several neighbors who just give me their Sunday coupons. We live in an area where the houses are less than two feet apart so you really get to know everyone. We literally “borrow a cup of sugar” like the old days…it’s nice 😉

I would love to win this. we used to get red plum coupons but for some reason they stopped putting them in our papers. Sometimes when I go to buy an extra paper someone has gotten the coupons out. I check now & get one deeper in the stack.

If it’s considered illegal to sell coupons, how does this get the OK and how does someone get so many inserts when they are given out in the newspapers? I’ve ordered from her before, specific inserts…..but just saying…..I never understood how this was allowed or how one person got so many the could ship out like this.

Colin, can you expand on this and how she is able to do this?

    • Erica

I wonder about this too. She states that the coupons are “free” but that we are paying for her time and shipping. However I can get that many inserts for much cheaper by getting them from neighbors, relatives, or even the recycling bin.

    • Lori

I thought it was illegal, as well. A little confused by this. I’ve steered clear of coupon selling sites for just that reason. Can someone clue us in here? Is coupon selling illegal?

      • Kimberly

Most say they are selling the handling not the coupons But ….then why are the good ones .30 instead of .08 like the rest . 🙂 Hmmm??? My area never has coupons but PG, wonder if this is why Just a thought .

I hope I willbe lucky this time.

It is actually illegal to sell coupons, here in Florida they are catching and asking people to report people selling coupon inserts. I once asked at the local paper office here and they told me all the people that sell coupons over the Internet probably are the ones steal all the papers from the boxes, which is very common here since we get coupon inserts in free newspapers, but obviously all these thieves steal them.

  10. Alexis

Maria is right it is illegal to sell coupons and it voids the conditions on the coupons. I can’t see how this people that sell them can get their hands on so many inserts. I used to work for a large manufacturer and very known, and this was a big problem since we got a lot of “gang coupons” that we could not reimburse the stores for since they were misused. This is affecting everyone, the people that legitimately get their coupons the way it is intended to but also the stores that do not get paid for all this coupons and now change all their coupon policies and limit cupon usage. . This is also called coupon fraud. If anyone that sells coupons can explain how they get all their coupons legally I would be really surprised. So far they just hide and open another eBay account . Sorry Collin but I had to explain this.

I didn’t enter this giveaway simply because it did not seem right to me. I mean the whole thing of buying coupons/inserts.

  12. Amanda

The weekly subscription for the $12 something is only for 1 of each insert, not 5. I just went to the site and almost purchased this option since this site says its for 5 of each. Just wanted to give a heads up. I would have been REALLY upset seeing as how you can buy a paper MUCH cheaper than this.

  13. amandadavis3205

I also think this is actually illegal also. All the coupons I have seen state void if transferred. If caught, I would assume both myself and the person collecting a “clipping fee” would be in some type of trouble. Not sure though, not an attorney.

  14. Kim

It’s definitely not a good deal to buy these full inserts – price wise! First, they do not deliver to my state of New York, so that was out (said the demand wasn’t too good here yet ). Second, the prices – for one week almost $14 for one set of inserts, and you can get up to 7 copies of inserts for well over $200 a week?!?!?! I don’t know how they figure the pricing to be that expensive and even coupons on Ebay are getting very expensive too. Everyone in this forum is right though, if the coupons are free, how do you explain some being really expensive and some cheap.

This is from the CIC (coupon information corporation):

“You can protect yourself from fraud by:

Never paying money for coupons. This includes buying coupons from companies/individual who “sell the service of clipping coupons” instead of the coupons themselves. (Think about it, you really ARE BUYING the coupons, yet the business will insist you’re not. Does that make any sense? Does it inspire your trust? Do you really want to provide them with your financial information?)”

This is from the FTC (federal trade commission):

“There’s only one legitimate way to use a coupon: Cut it out of the newspaper or other source and use it toward the purchase of the designated product. A coupon is meant to be used only by the consumer who buys the product for which the coupon is printed. Selling or transferring coupons to a third party violates most manufacturers’ coupon redemption policies—and usually voids the coupon.”
