Those prices are pretty close to Amazon prices…
I placed an order for some of these oils back on May 24th and got an email that there is a delay in the shipping with no expected date.
I ordered peppermint, eucalyptus and lavender.
This is what it read.
“We do not have a ship date for the above item(s) at this time. If you would like to wait for the item(s) to ship, there is no need to contact us and we will continue the processing and shipping procedure as soon as possible. Please note your credit card will not be charged for the item(s) until the order is shipped.”
Also has 5% back on Ebates.
I sell essential oils from butterflyexpress.net for less then the price listed on their website. They are pure essential oils, without water added. They also ship directly to your address in 2-3 days of ordering them. If interested in any of the oils feel free to e-mail me at melindazones@yahoo.com. I can also get you a list of what oils they have.
Thanks,
Melinda
You really need to be careful to check out the ingredients in essential oils. A lot of them claim to be pure or therapeutic grade and they’re not. I’ve onlyfound one brand that is, and its the only one that can and should be applied or taken internally. Just a friendly FYI 🙂
What brand
I really like this Now brand, actually. If you’re looking for something organic, I really like mountain rose herb. I tend to shy away from all of the multi level marketing things out there. They are just too expensive and no one is really regulating essential oils anyway, so they can say whatever they want.
There are two brands that are pure essential oils, those are butterfly express and doterra. The others add water to their oils, which can still be considered pure, but really are not. I would be very careful when taking oils internally because most can cause problems with your internal organs. The best place to use oils are on your skin. The feet is a really good place for any pure essential oil to go.
Also a test that can be done in order to find out if the oil is pure is to get a piece of paper and put a few drops of the oil on the paper if the paper is not yellow when the oil dries then the oil is pure.
Two brands that are pure EO’s…ummm…NOT true. There are quite a few. There also is no such thing as Certified therapeutic grade EO’s. This has been claimed wordage, if you will, to make folks second guess other brands. It is simply a trademark for a particular MLM company, this way no others can stake this ‘claim’ as they have ‘rights’ to the term. Yes some do add a carrier to their oils, making them still ‘pure’ oils because of the carrier being an oil 😉 No water is added as the 2 want mix without being shaking. I do agree that applying topically (on the skin) is a great way to make the best use. Diffusing is also an awesome way to ‘take in’ EO’s. There is a LOT of good information on the web. A great blog with tons of info is:

I order primarily from Plant Therapy …Quality, great prices, 100% PURE EO’s and FREE shaping!
Adrienne what is the name of pure or therapeutic grade that you found?
Peppermint oil is a great pick me up BUT it is also used as an appetite stimulant. You could find yourself munching all day! You get what you pay for when you buy essential oils. I would not put too much trust in these for much more than fragrance value.
I’ve always heard it’s an appetite suppressant, not stimulant
Yeah I just tried the paper thing and the lavendar Now e. oil came back dried as clear so if the lady above is right then it’s good to go.
This is good to know. I have been buying the gnc brand because I can’t afford the others. Thought I would start with gnc and see if I liked essential oils and if they worked for me. I have been desperate to find something to help me. I want to get healthy I have seen a difference in how I feel in just a few days of using them. I love them. People who use the expensive brands tell me to stop using these but my body tells me different. I feel amazing better than I have felt in a long tiime to the point that I feel eventually I could eliminate some of my medications which is my goal. I have a lot of health problems I believe in my heart that the Lord lead me to these and also that He doesn’t want me to go broke by using them to make me healthy again. Thanks for the post.
