I don’t think they’re going to add more vouchers. They changed their apology message to saying that they are all out, instead of the one they had before about vouchers being unavailable in certain regions.
Ok, So I was really disappointed about missing this one. But, I decided to check Pinterest. (I love gelato, but can hardly justify spending $5-6 on a pint!) Guess what, guys, there are tons of recipes for homemade gelato. And quite a few that don’t require an ice cream maker. (they say to just put the container in the freezer and stir every 15 min until it’s the consistency you want.) So now I can make myself a whole qt or gal if I want 🙂 P.s. I’ve discovered that when money is a little too tight to enjoy the “extras” we used to buy with the grocery money, there are many things that are just as good homemade. Things I’ve tried in the last 6 months… homemade bagels, taco bell chalupa shells, tortillas, shrimp scampi (from scratch), seasoning mixes (taco, ranch, and I’m going to try cajun next), hamburger buns, cream of chicken soup (and any cream soup for that matter. you avoid all those nasty preservatives, and that can lining), and baby food. These are all I can think of right now. And Gelato is next on the list :)Happy Friday!
