Walmart will not accept the Raid coupon for $1 off the fly strips, tried this last week when you posted the $1 off coupon. They will not scan for that particular product, and therefore will not be accepted, even by a manager. Since they are printed coupons and won’t scan, they won’t override. If it were from the newspaper, a manager “could” override a non-scanning coupon.

    • Guest

It really depends on who you speak to. Go at a different time or to a different lane and they’d push it through. They make that $1 back anyway, so yeah… it just depends on who you go to unfortunately.

      • Tia

Not that easy anymore. They are all told to not take anything that doesn’t scan and most of the time the managers don’t push things through. I have been spending less and less on groceries at Walmart.

        • j

walmart is not a good store wont go there get better deals elsewhere

        • holly

Yup, they used to make exceptions all the time. They were very adamant in their lecture last time that the company as a whole will no longer make exceptions on non-scanning coupons.

    • Lynn

I tried it yesterday and they wouldn’t take them, They showed me where the register was printing out a slip saying that the coupon didn’t match the item. Then they told me it probably was the size. I showed them that it didn’t mention a size but they were set on not taking it. I figured I would try another Walmart another day or find them somewhere else. I’ve not had much luck with Walmart and coupons. ๐Ÿ™

    • Tabitha

I used mine last week. The coupon beeped and said product didnt match coupon but the cashier clearly saw I had bought the items and pushed it on thru. She didnt even call a manager. So it defiantly depends on your cashier.

  2. Tammy

…”darn” canned chicken! That made me giggle! <3

    • Guest

      saw that too! lol

  3. Ashley

has anyone tried using the gerber coupons yet? are they good on the jars?

  4. jellybean

Don’t forget with this version of OZ great and powerful, you can go online and get the 3d version for only 5.99 ( no shipping or tax!!) when you enter the code found inside the box! That makes an AWESOME price for the entire collection- 3d, 2d blu ray, 2d dvd, and digital copy!

    • Craig

Soo your saying you have to buy it then if you wanted the 3d version, buy it again using the code?

On other note, this darn Vlassic only printed 1. The other printed w/just a border outline and that was it. Really? what the whaaat?!

      • jellybean

No, I’m saying if you want the 3d then you pay an extra 5.99 on the disney site with the code and website mentioned inside the package- they ship the extra 3d disc to you. This combo pack is 2d blu ray, dvd, and digital. NO 3d in the pack. You won’t end up with duplicates.

  5. Kassie

I used the coupons on the fly strips, no problem. I also used the gerber ones on the .63 jars.

  6. J

Target have the fly stripes ? And how much if they do

no almay $4 coupon in the SS in Madison wi ๐Ÿ™ didn’t see one almay coupon at all…i’m starting to wonder what is up with my paper! im not getting most of the posted coupons for SS, PG, RP etc.

  8. Louise

Checked 3 local Walmarts in my area yesterday & today and NO stock of this version of the OZ movie! ๐Ÿ™ Apparently all stores got only a limited shipment, and an employee at one store said there is a person who often comes in to many stores on release days and buys them all! This good price with a free movie ticket was definitely a good deal – Bet there will be lots on EBay next week. Wish I could have got just one. ๐Ÿ™

  9. sara

Thanks for the matchups but man these prices are bad :-(. I can do muxh better at other stores with a lot less hassle.

  10. Jessica

just FYI , walmart sells baby wipes, store brand, for 99 cents. I have not tried them, but I thought it was good to know if you’re in a pinch and waiting for the next good store sale.

  11. Larkin

Beginning to hate Wal-Mart!!! I had 2 printed coupons to save a $1 on any kikkiman product. They wouldn’t scan so they refused to push them through ๐Ÿ™
It’s getting harder to get good deals here in SW Virginia using coupons. Recently our Kroger stopped doubling coupons. The only store that doubles now is 45 minutes away, and they only double on Mondays. Thank goodness we have a rite aid ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. jessica

I am finding more and more that is getting harder to get good deals as a whole. Because of shows like “Extreme Couponing” and so many people abusing the whole couponing thing and stockpiling, stores and manufacturers are smarting up and aren’t putting out as good of coupons out, jacking up prices on products, and having sale prices that aren’t so great. It makes it hard for people like me who are just trying to support our families! So frustrating! I find myself buying more store brand items at a cheaper price than name brand items with a coupon…

  13. Mel

Thank you so much Collin for posting this! I rarely shop at walmart bc it’s too big & I hate trying to coupon when it’s crowded. I never would have known about the deal for OZ if not for this site, and my walmart didn’t even have the sign on the shelf showing the sale price of $19.96. I bought 2 using 2 $7 off coupons, and even the sales clerk in the electronic section was impressed with my savings lol

  14. christina

if walmart is out of stock, target will price match the 19.96 walmart price plus the $7 coupon!
target manager originally said no coupons can be used with price match but their policy actually allows it!
    I did this earlier tonight!
