When shopping dollar tree, be aware of the pack size. The pack size is usually smaller than the other big box stores. So sometimes the value isn’t there. Overall, you can do very well here with coupons, just look at the pack size to make sure you are getting the best value.

Target has a coupon for $1/2 kitchen storage items (that include these Hefty bags).

This comes out to .08 cents per bag and while this beats Amazon prices, a much better deal can be gotten waiting for a instore sale deal on bigger size packs.

I bought a gallon and quart box last week at Dollar Tree. They both had 2 extra bonus bags in them. So, 10 bags quart size and 8 bags gallon size. For only .50 each that comes out to .05 and .06.25 cents each per bag. I think that’s a great price.

What is the price per bag of the wags deal?

Thank you for the deal. Its nice also like Collin always says to compare. I dod the Walgreens deal she posted and the packs end up for $1.25 for a 17 pack. And for this you would get 12 for $1. Walgreens is the better deal. (Factor in also whether you are going there for other items then dollar tree would be the option 🙂

My local Dollar Trees give me so much grief for redeeming Sunday paper coupons that I wouldn’t even dare trying taking a coupon that I legitimately printed from the internet.

Write to corporate! I had to do so once previously with my Dollar Tree store and the problem was quickly addressed.

Target had the 48 count freezer bag boxes on clearance over the weekend for $4.84 per box and I used a Target $1/2 hefty/reynolds Q plus the one posted here 1/$2 for a stack since I got 2 boxes. Just an idea if you don’t like dollar tree and want bigger boxes. Don’t really know why they were marked down unless it was the size of the box.

I went to Target today and it looked like their entire plastic bag aisle was getting a reset and tons of items were 50%off like trash bags and food storage bags as well as paper napkins and other assorted stuff in their paper/plastic aisles.

Target also has a coupon on their website for $1/2 hefty bags. I was able to use both coupons on the travel size quart bags making them free!!

i bought these from the Dollar Tree a few times and they NO WHERE near the quality of the hefty bags you buy at walmart or something like that. they are so cheap and flimsy…..def worth it to buy else where IMO

I’ve been to 2 Dollar Trees here in Austin, TX. The 1st said the product had to match the picture exactly (the photo shows a 22-pack, of course they don’t sell that there, and the one I wanted was an 8-pack of gallon sliders). The 2nd told me they didn’t accept any printed coupons. Also, I’m hunting for all the freebies after coupon posted here, but apparently our local Dollar Trees don’t have as great of a selection. Slightly discouraged, but love trying!
