In addition to the FREE movie admission you can earn to see Turbo over on Amazon.com, here’s another great deal you can score if you are interested in watching the movie Epic!

Check out the email I just received from reader, Nicole…

[h2s_box] Hi Collin. I came across this display at Walmart. They have $5 DVDs that come with $5 in movie cash to see the movie “Epic”. They also have Blu-ray movies for $7.88 (some of them include a DVD, a Blu-ray and a digital copy) and they come with $8 to see Epic. I noticed some of these same movies in the regular DVD section without the movie cash on them, so you have to buy the ones from this display. Anyway, I’m attaching a picture. 🙂[/h2s_box]

So basically you can snag a DVD AND $5 in Hollywood Movie Money for just $5 OR you can snag a Blu-ray AND $8 in Hollywood Movie Money for just $7.88! Awesome! Come back and let us know if your able to find this great offer at your local Walmart.

(Thanks, Nicole!)

What is Hollywood movie money and where can it be used?- sorry if it’s obvious!

go to their website and see if they have participating theaters in your area. Then you enter the code from the wrapper and choose which theater you will redeem it at, and print out the voucher. Present it at the ticket counter and they will take it off like a coupon. I purchased two diff ice age movies at Sam’s and used mine last week. Only thing to be aware of – mine are valid at Regal theaters, which are $12 per ticket. Only the first show is matinee pricing ($9). My AMC offers alot of movies at $6 before 12 on certain days, so it would have been cheaper for me to do that instead. But these are valid any time.

also, I got my reg dvd’s for 7.88, so they may must need to push these promo wrapped movies. Maybe they’ll go down even lower? 😉

Our manitee pricing is 7.25 at Regal in central va ( same as the kids ticket). I may check this out the blu rays. It would mean free tickets.

just curious, is yours a stadium theater? mines in n va, I was looking at taking the kids to a movie in va beach and the amc was $5 and regal 7.50…but I’m not sure what condition they were in. my AMC is stadium but in a large mall, the Regal is standalone near a strip mall. I was so surprised by the jump in price there. It was $21.00 for the 3 of us to go to a 1:20 show using $10 of movie money

Is Epic the only movie you can see with the movie money? In the past I’ve had ones that were good on any movie or any disney movie.

I wasn’t able to find this deal but I was able to find another. This was for some older kids DVDs like Little Rascals, Barbie, Casper, Cat in the Hat, several Land Before Time DVDs and Nanny McPhee 1&2 among several other titles. They are $5 ea and you get $5 movie cash towards Despicable Me 2 basically making the DVD free. Definitely worth checking out

I found this too. But unfortunately it is $5 Fandango cash, and my local theatre doesn’t sell tickets on Fandango. Has anyone else heard of that?

      • Kathryn K

yes it’s possible from what I understand. Go her to see Fandango’s partners (theater chains).
for awhile my local AMC theater didn’t even let me buy AMC tickets on line!

Thank you all for the explanation!

You may also want to check showtimes in your area as well. In my area Epic is now showing at only one theater at one showtime each day. But wont have any more as of thursday. Which is kinda sad because we really wanted to see it.

Is the movie cash only good to see Epic or any movie?

Epic is now playing at one of my dollar theater for only $3.00.
