It looks great, but being a wife of a marine i find it offensive to have the flag wrapped around your neck, it should be waving and not used as an accessory, just my opinion.

Yep, same here, being a military spouse to see people wearing a flag offends me. It’s against the etiquette and I was not even born in USA. But I sure do want my children to respect their country and their flag.
Oh, get over yourself. The United States Flag Code is meant to protect the sanctity of an actual United States flag, not graphic representations of it. And by the way, I, too, am former military and so is Collin (spouse).
I got one for my mother in law to wear for her son’s (my husband’s) military retirement. She adored it and no one made a comment about it. She felt patriotic supporting her son after 24 years in the military. I don’t feel it’s offensive. If so, what about all the 4th of July dresses, head wraps, tshirts that have the flag on them?
