Thanks – just added to the post! I forgot about that coupon!
I went to CVS this am (hadn’t been in over a month) and did well, but I had $8ecb that expired 4 days ago. In the past, every manager (and, most cashiers) have happily overridden it in the system. Today, the manager said, “Sorry, if it doesn’t scan, we don’t take it.” and threw my $8 ecb in the trash. 🙁 I have never had a problem with this CVS (today was a diff manager). I realize they were expired……….but it has never been a problem before, esp because I buy so much when I go in. Does you CVS take expired ecb’s? They were 4 days expired.
Call again and ask for a supervisor – it doesn’t hurt to try again.
You could have asked for your ECB back, left the store w/o purchasing anything and called another CVS to see if they accept expired ECB, then go there and give them your business.
I even asked if corporate could reissue and the guy said no
Hey Summer, my Cvs takes expired ECB for a week. May be it was that specific person who does not know, or did not want to do that. But you should have brought your ECB back from him.
Whenever any coupons or ECB do not work, the cashier or manager whosoever it is, should give it back to the customer.
Our CVS will take expired ECB for up to a week, but they have to be within the week (Sun—Sat). According to our CVS, yours would have had to been used by last Sat. Also, call corporate. They will often load the ECB onto your card, but there are only a few days to use them.
My advice is call corporate directly and ask for a reissue. Don’t ask the same guy who threw it in the trash. My CVS also takes expired ECB’s. Good luck.
Thank you all!
If you scan your card at the MCM on two different days, will the Progresso coupon print a second time? I usually only go once/week so I’ve never tried it … just curious. Thanks 🙂
Usually, the MCM only spits out the coupons once—-regardless of how often you go in and scan the card.
This is *usually* true for the MCM coupons mentioned in the circular. However, there usually are a set of coupons (changes weekly) that print out (once) every day.
And reading the fine print on the ad, it states a limit of 1 offer/household so it likely will only print once.
It looks like if u buy 4 it’s the same price as buying 2, 75¢ each 🙂
Does anyone know what zip code you can find the Carmex Q under? I can’t find it!
