do these things hurt? I’ve been told I need one because I am always stuffed up at night and am using a steroid nasal spray. The doctors are trying to figure out if I have allergies. Pouring water in my nose seems like it could hurt.
No they do not hurt. They help my allergies a lot. Have been using them for years!
You have to learn the right way to use this. I am also using this from years. This help a lot if you have allergies.
the solution isn’t just water. it’s a saline wash and if mixed like the directions tell you it won’t burn or hurt. but the stuff that comes out might make you gag a little. lol!
My mom LOVES these and said they really work so I am guessing that it does not hurt, I am going to get one for her and I am sure she will be thrilled, THANK YOU from my mom:)
This is the most amazing thing to help sinus and and allergy. I suffered so much during the seasons. Now, I hardly need to use the Neti Pot, but when I do … it clears me right up! I have recommended it to all my friends and family. I am going to pick up one for someone I know really could use it! 🙂 Going natural is much better than any drugs in my opinion!
Do you hand over the manufacturers coupon first
The order of coupons doesn’t really matter for this deal. The $7/1 coupon will need to be adjusted down to $5.99 since Walgreens does not give overage.
I just did this deal and entire $7.00 was applied to my basket total so I did get overage.
Do you have to buy a filler item since you are using 2 coupons? I want to try this deal but am worried, walgreens always gives me a really hard time. Is there an order to the coupons?
If I recall correctly in-ad and in-book coupons do not count towards the total number of coupons per item. But Register Rewards do count.
That is correct. You do not need any filler items for this deal.
I didn’t find the $7/1 in the 8/18 RP. I’m in Arizona. I’ll try printing it later.
You can get these today if your store activates tomorrow’s sale prices early. 🙂
BOOO enemy of the honest customers
huh?
They are under investigation for bait and switch and over charging for posted pricing. Not just in one store but many stores. They have been charging retail pricing even on coupon items.
I didn’t catch what you were tying to say. Please explain further.
They were being monitored and they were found to be posting special pricing at the ends of isles and ran ads in papers. When people tried checking out the prices we normal prices. They also denied the posted specials and made it hard to get posted lower prices. This is a fact and they are now under investigation and charges have been filed. Some people on here seem to use the head in the sand option and when I mentioned it twisted into a lame personal attack. I was asking a question and sharing a documented list of facts.
Weren’t these unsafe? Or did someone used it incorrectly?
I believe it was an instance of parasites in the water and the person did not boil their water and became infected.
Just picked up (4) @ two different stores. Didn’t want to drain the stores stock. Manager had to push through the computer printed coupons referenced to on this website. Very happy to wait while manager worked his magic ;)).
Are we paying tax based on $9.99 or after all the coupons? = $0 tax?
I live in nc and I usually have to pay the tax on the price of the item before coupons. S for this deal I would have to pay taxes on the $9.99.
There shouldn’t be tax on these as they’re FSA eligble.
I got one of these once, but had to return it. Is it me or does the spout look too, well, suggestive??? I just couldn’t bring myself to stick it in my nose…hahaha.
I love my Neti pot (I bought a ceramic one from Whole Foods), you should use distilled or purified water with them, not tap.
I tried to do this deal last night at a local 24hr Wal-Greens and they refused to allow me to use both coupons. Which is a real bummer because I could actually use a new netipot. 🙁
Oh well… I will pricematch and pay the $3 somewhere else… they were super rude :/
I have been trying to just this and people here jumped all over me. Here is just more PROOF that what I have been saying is true. This is NOT a personal attacked just stating facts. Wal-green is NOT customer friendly and uses deceptive polices to take advantage of it’s customers. I have not and WILL NOT support a company that treats it’s customer in this manor. When people are tying to share facts and experiences I find it sad that others would accuse them of being personal and then not respond when challenged. Well anyway, facts are showing what I have been saying
I tried this deal today and they wouldn’t even adjust the coupon down, the cashier called the manager over and he said no I couldn’t use the coupon! I really can’t stand to coupon at Walgreens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got a call today from the manager in question saying basically come back in and he’ll make it right! This is after I called Corp.
Jane, it’s it sad when you have to just through “their” hoops just to get what “they” want out of people. Walgreens employees and managers are rude and unwilling to honor their own ad items. And Hip keeps putting out their coupons to put it’s readers thought the punishment and rude treatment. I know I would no longer support any company that does this to his customers!!!!!!!
I even tried to tell the cashier to adjust the coupon, but she didn’t and let me get the overage! I don’t usually have problems using coupons at my walgreens, if I do, the manager usually fixes whatever the issue is. I wasn’t sure if it would be $9.99 because it wasn’t marked on the shelf, but it still rang up at $9.99 so what a deal! I’ve been told to try a neti pot for years, but couldn’t bring myself to spend the money/ try it….I’m kind of afraid of them, but it’s time to get over my fears. lol
Anyone reading who is heading off to do this deal bring a copy of the coupon policy with you!
When I did this deal the cashier, a nice young guy, was more than happy to adjust the coupon down and appreciated that I told him the $5.99 since he wouldn’t have to do trial and error. He wasn’t 100% sure how to adjust the coupon down and asked another girl working for help. She became extremely rude the second she saw the coupons and told me it couldn’t be done, when I brought up it was in their policy to adjust the coupon down, she told me I was lying. I ended up having to pull the policy up on my phone for her to read, she refused to handle my phone and kept making me scroll and zoom clearly just trying to make it as hard as possible hoping I’d leave. She then said she’d allow it this time but that she was going to the manager about it. I told her I welcomed the manager to come now and at this she not so discretely flipped her name tag over so I couldn’t get her name. She then kept saying the $5.99 wouldn’t work and she could only do it as $5.50. The whole time the original cashier looked embarrassed for how she was treating me.
The stores vary so much. One store I go to (store “A”) is knowledgeable and pleasant and my desperation store (store “B”) when I can not find what I need at store “A”, is very hit or miss as half the staff does not have a clue on the policy. The offer has to be super compelling for me to visit “B” store as most things are just not worth the hassle. All I can say is try another store:)
I agree, another store like CVS…never had any issues there, store A,B Or C
My Walgreens wasn’t going to let me use the coupon either. I was told it was already a good deal at 5.99. After 2 cashiers and an unknowledgeable manager they finally caved in and pushed it thru at 7 even though I told them to adjust it down. It was embarrassing to argue in front of other customers.
Ok, for those that felt the need to express their opinions saying I was personally attacking them and those defending them I believe there plenty of post now to prove what I was saying. Wal-Greens could care less about it’s money spending customers. To continue to defend Wal-Greens is just crazy. What did you say? Was that an apology? No thanks, your defending them when 9 out of 10 posts here say what I have been saying is enough of an apology for me. Have a great day
I did this deal (6) times-different transactions @ 5 different stores-applied the $1 overage to the Sunny Smile paper products making each 12 pack of tissue .99 & each 8 pack of paper towels 99 cents. Transactions below:
(1) neti pot @ $9.99 less $7 manuf q less $4 booklet q= free w/ $1 overage
(1) 12 pack of toliet paper @ $2.99 less $1 booklet q less $1 overage from neti pot = 99 total-repeated transactions alternating tissue & paper towel
I was told I couldn’t use the manufacturer and store coupons together. I wish I had read the policy before hand.
