If you are looking to stock your gift closet or cross a few items off your Christmas list, you may want to stop by your local Kmart. As you can see from all the pictures in this post, my Kmart here in Boise, Idaho is hosting a HUGE Toy Clearance and offering up popular toys for an additional 50% off. Note that items are selling quickly so I would head over there sooner than later! Here are just a few items that caught my eye…

I snagged a good 10 items and put them on layaway on sunday. They are xmas gifts so I needed a place to stash em…layaway worked out great as a storage 😛

Heads up on the bratz/alien doll. The arms break off super easy (like as we opened the package). My almost four year old still plus with it without arms, but was pretty upset about it. I spent three days snapping them back in before giving up and tossing the arms.

I’m in SOCAL I never shop at Kmart but since I saw the post I called my local Kmart and confirmed the sale so I went since I needed gifts for a bday this weekend , initially I didn’t find much, the clearance section was messy and didn’t see interesting things but then I started to look all the way in the back of the shelf or on the last shelve and found some hidden treasures from leapster : books and games final price $12, leapster USA interactive map $10, set of 7 leapster books $10, and the biggest deal of all Vtech InnoTab Learning system $38 !!!( regular price $76!!!) I noticed that a lot of the good deals are not in the clearance section, go thru the aisles and look carefully to the toys some have the yellow clearance sticker without Any big clearance sign.
I had a coupon for the leapster games but they did not take it, they told me their system does not allow coupons on clearance merchandise 🙁 so I couldn’t use it. Also I tried to put them on hold or layaway but they didn’t let me either 🙁 quite disappointed the manager told me only full price items can be on the layaway 🙁
My best find was a radio flyer fold 2 go trike for $23.50.
My Kmart near Salt Lake City had a great selection: Baby Alive dolls (not the coupon ones) $9.50, Spiderman dress up costume $7, Disney Princess dress-ups, UNO games, wagons, stars wars light sabers, etc.
Can I put clearance on layaway

I would like to know people’s great finds because my store does not have things priced well, so I could possible get some great deals – if I knew what to look for 🙂

Sale runs through 10/26. I stocked up yesterday…..my son will especially be very happy due to the amount of Marvel stuff I got…including a Captain america mask (he is obsessed with him!). i might have to go back tomorrow!
