My mobile coupon stated $10 off $50… There is also a coupon in the sale ad for the $10 off $50 as well. 🙂

    • kacee

You cannot combine these. It is one or the other, unfortunately, fyi

  2. Katelyn

Can you use this at publix?

    • shawn

if your store takes target as a competitor, yes. use it as a x/xx competitor coupon off the top. food and beverage only. the coupon also excludes baby food, alcohol, pet food, etc.

    • LisaR

My Publix excepts Target!! I am soooo Loving this coupon!!!

  3. Picchu

My mobile Q too was 10/5!

    • Picchu

      Sorry 10/50!

  4. Denise

Question, inexperienced couponer here, this is $10 off $50 BEFORE target and manuf. coupons are used??

    • Colleen

What I would do is hand over this coupon first, then all your MQ and Target coupons, and then Cartwheel. I usually make it a point to hand over the $$ off of $$ coupons first so that they KNOW for sure I was above the required total! 🙂

    • Valerie H

Yes! I have used several similar coupons at Target in the past. Hand over this one first then follow up with your other Target, manufacturer’s and Cartwheel coupons. Works every time. 🙂

    • Denise

Excellent, will do that. A big THANKS!

      • Jen

I tried that yesterday and the cashier made me do all my MQ and TQ first and then she rang up my mobile Q. Just wanted to prepare you!

        • Sarah

same thing happened to me she argued with me that she had to do the other coupons before any mobile coupons luckily I was only $.08 from $50 even after coupons so I grabbed a pack of gum.

          • axhilli

If you keep your manufacturer coupons in your purse, pocket or bag and pull them out after having the cashier scan the mobile coupons then that should resolve that issue.

My food total was $53.86. I had given the clerk my mfg. Qs, my Target Qs, my $10 off $50 (paper) Q, and my Mobile Qs in that order. All Qs were accepted. (Next time I will be more careful though). However, I did find that a $1 mobile Q didn’t get applied for my $1 off Market Pantry 64 oz. juice for the OJ I bought — even though all other mobile Qs worked from the same barcode. So I went to customer service and got my $1 paid back. In total I saved $24.50 by using coupons!!!! Thanks to Hip2Save Colln and all readers for teaching me how!!

Also, I found that customer service can print a receipt that shows which Mobile Qs were used – because mine didn’t highlight grey after usage (as before). It showed an “N” when the item was Not Used Yet and said “Today” for the Mobile Qs that got deducted off. The C.S. clerk and I compared this to my receipt and realized the Orange Juice mobile Q hadn’t been deducted. The store had no problem giving me my $1 back and didn’t have problems with the $10 off $50 purchase. Before I went I read the fine print and it didn’t state that we could not use other Coupons with this specific offer. Good luck.

use the 10 off 50 and then use all the rest

  6. lina

Target Coupons and Mobile Coupon discount cannot be combined on individual items.

    • holly

      really?

    • Valerie H

Correct. The Target printed coupons and Target mobile coupons (not Cartwheel, that CAN be stacked with one Target coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon per item) are both Target coupons and only one can be used per item.

  7. Guest

So this is considered a separate coupon from the one earlier? I’m just wondering if we can use both at the same time or if it’s considered a duplicate.

    • Ashley57

No, you will not be able to use both at once, unless you spend $100, and then the register still may not allow it, not sure.

  8. Katelyn

    Yay! That’s great!

  9. Lisa

Sorry if this is a silly question but can we use the paper one that we print and the mobile coupon in the same transaction? Thank you

    • Jen

You can use both if order is at least $100.. That is what I was told but I haven’t tried it since I do most of my grocery shopping at Publix

  10. Juli D

I tried to use the Printed coupon from the ad. I kept a running tally on my calculator to make sure I met the requirements. Even though I had $63 worth of grocery product, the register only counted $44 of it! Just be aware that baking supplies (chocolate chips, crisco), ANY granola bars, candy or snacks do NOT count towards your grocery tab.

    • Bri

That’s weird! When i used this on Friday the cashier rang me up and i was two dollars under. so I threw in a couple of packs of gum and then it worked fine!

    • kacee

I would have stood my ground. It is all in the grocery aisle and considered food. Weird, how some things are different at different stores.

    • Jasmine

Target has really weird catagories for their food. My mom uses food stamps (EBT card) and when she tries to use it at Target, it will work on some things and not others, even though it is all food. It is totally inconsistent. One thing is that if something is counted as a “holiday” item, such as oreos with christmas colors, then they don’t count as a “food item” which is silly, since you can eat it….so yeah…

    • Angi

I purchased K-Cups and Lindt Chocolate bars with my Coupon. No problems

    • steph

Something doesn’t sound right with that, snacks or granola bars are food/grocery items.

    • Juli D.

I took a pic of all of my grocery items, recounted & the amount is STILL over $63 of food! I am going to send it to the Target manager & question them. Plus, in all of the chaos, the cashier didn’t ring one of my $5 coupons but still kept it. I normally have no issues with Target, but this time was very bad!

      • Juli D.

UPDATE- after discovering my $5 coupon was not taken off my receipt along with the $10 not accepted, I called customer service. They explained that the store coupon policy should be the same one that is available online. Any time a customer feels that the policy is not being adhered to, call the customer service in MN from the RED phone at customer service & let them know. The guy I spoke with said that after hearing my description & pulling my receipt & seeing the food items, they are sending me a gift card to apologize. I was willing to let the $10 go, but combined with the $5 loss, it was too much to lose. Good luck everyone!

    • ALEXIA SLAPE

Thanks for saying that, i tried to use it for my groceries and it biped the cashier still took it, but i was wondering why it did not go through, i had some snacks i m guessing it might be why

Tried to use the ad coupon today and it said I didn’t have enough! I had made a running tally as I put things into my cart so I knew I had. A manager came over and manually entered it. He said they were having trouble with the ad ones never accepting.

  12. RT

I cut the coupon out of the paper ad instead of using the mobile q. I’m so glad I did because the cashier said he had to scan paper q’s before mobile q’s! I ended up getting $70 worth of groceries for $12! If I had used the mobile q it never would have worked!

    • axhilli

I don’t see anywhere on the mobile coupon that it says that do you know why he said that.

      • RT

He said store policy was paper coupons have to be scanned first and then mobile coupons. Every store seems to have different policies. I’m guessing it so I would have to spend $50 after coupons to use the $10 off $50. How he scanned the paper version of it first. I just didn’t use the mobile one this trip.

        • steph

Sounds like a store manager that wants his daily sales total to be high. That is just not right. I would have left everything there, asked for all my coupons back and left.

  13. kali

does the coupon work for frozen food items?

    • Yra

yes. I used it yesterday when I bought the 2 for $8 Tyson’s chicken.
